Abstract

The study examined the marketing of smoked fish in a few Kebbi State local government areas. The study's main goal was to determine how profitable it was to sell smoked fish in a particular local government area in the state of Kebbi. Using a straightforward random sampling approach, information was gathered from 120 marketers of smoked fish. A well-structured questionnaire was used to gather the information. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used in the analysis of the gathered data. According to the results, the majority of fish marketers (41.7%) fell between the ages of 21 and 30. Male respondents made up the majority of the sample (65%), while married respondents made up around 91.7%) and those without access to formal education made up about 51.7% of the sample. Further, the result revealed that (55%) of the respondents in the study area had 21-30 years of marketing experience. Additionally, the results show that small-scale businesses account for the majority (54.2%) of smoked fish marketers. According to the study, the distribution of smoked fish in a few local government areas (Bagudo, Bunza, and Yauri) is a decentralized system that allows customers to buy fish straight from the supplier. Notwithstanding the difficulties experienced, it was determined that the marketing of smoked fish in a few local government areas of Kebbi State is profitable. Recommendations were made as follows: In order to minimize the high cost of transportation caused by rising fuel prices and poor roads, financing the sale of smoked fish requires access to fast and reasonably priced loan facilities.

Abstract

In this work, financial liquidity predominates over escape savings. The velocity of financial liquidity is twice as high as the velocity of escape savings. It uses mathematical definitions by the cycle of money and shows the sensitivity plot of cy: {(m4 + 3*m2)*10-4}. In this case, financial liquidity is identical to the cycle of money. The applied methodology is the S.M. (Sensitivity Method).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of STEM learning assisted by Android media on students' interest in learning. This type of research is quantitative research, with a Quasi Experimental Design, Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The instruments used were learning outcomes tests and questionnaires, then analyzed using prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests, linearity tests and hypothesis tests using the t-test. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of STEM learning assisted by Android media on students' interest in learning at X SMAN 2 Tabanan. This result can be seen from the results of the Independent sample t-test with ????ℎ???????????????????? 2.720 and ???????????????????????? 2.211 so that we get ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????? ???????????? with a significant value of 0.028 is smaller at the 5% significance level. The learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class were higher than those in the control class.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the pocong oath carried out by Lorong A Rahman Residents, RT 10/04, Kelurahan 1 Ilir, Ilir Timur II District Palembang City, which had shocked the public on social media. Besides that, this issue often occurs in the community. The pocong oath is closely related to shari'áh. The pocong oath is substantially the same as a cultural practice or a community custom; it is done when there is a dispute or problem of a mystical nature or to prove something. Rationality is essential to distinguish between the truth of belief and rationality, which refers to the basis for believing it. The findings of this study are that the religious point of view related to the pocong oath is that there must be a name of God and that it is a truth. The method used in this study is qualitative research with three data collection techniques, namely in-depth interviews, conservation and documentation.

Abstract

Bioterrorism involves the intentional dissemination of biological agents, such as bacteria, viruses, toxins, or fungi, with the aim of causing widespread fear, illness, and death among targeted populations. Anti-state agents, including terrorist organizations or individuals with extremist ideologies, may employ bioterrorism as a means to achieve their political, ideological, or religious objectives. The study explores the motivation behind the potential use of bioterrorism by anti-state agents, the threat of biological warfare, and the state readiness in the case of a biological attack. It examines the history of biological warfare, the factors that make biological warfare attractive to terrorist organizations including potential for mass casualties, psychological factors behind the attacks, access of biological agents, and the issues and challenges associated with detection, responses, and prevention of a biological attack by anti-state agents. The research used securitization theory to understand the phenomenon behind biological warfare. The study identified that despite the small scale of biological attacks in the past by anti-state agents, the threat has increased in the recent times as the technological advances and access to these agents make the people vulnerable to such attacks by the non-state actors . The study also concluded that strengthening global surveillance systems, enhancing public health infrastructure, and promoting information sharing among states and international emergency response services are vital in preventing and mitigating the impact of bioterrorist attacks.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of renewable energy sources into the German power grid, with a specific focus on the application of Power-to-Gas (PtG) technology as a solution for energy storage and optimization. Amidst the growing penetration of renewables, characterized by their intermittent nature, the challenge of maintaining a stable and reliable energy supply becomes paramount. This research delves into the use of Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) electrolysis for hydrogen storage and biological methanation within the PtG process chain, aiming to enhance the efficiency of methane production and the operational performance of trickle-bed reactors. By developing an economically viable approach for PtG technology and suggesting future business models, this work contributes to the identification of the most suitable electrolysis technology for sector coupling and grid integration. The findings indicate that PtG not only offers a promising pathway for the sustainable integration of renewable energies but also underlines the need for novel, application-oriented storage solutions and the optimization of system components for better market penetration and efficiency. This research underscores the pivotal role of PtG technology in bridging the gap between renewable energy production and the existing energy infrastructure, paving the way for a more sustainable and resilient energy system in Germany.

Abstract

This research study aims to examine consumer perceptions regarding the product influence matrix and its impact on purchase intentions among smartphone users in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. A descriptive and exploratory research design was employed, and data was collected through questionnaires distributed both in-person and online. The sample size of 412 respondents was determined using non-probability convenience sampling.  The results showed that compatibility, brand, product features, and social influence were positively perceived by consumers, with compatibility and brand being the most influential factors. However, purchase intention received a slightly lower mean score, suggesting that there might be other factors influencing consumers' purchase decisions. The correlation analysis revealed significant correlations between all the product influence factors and purchase intention. The multiple regression analysis demonstrated that the combination of compatibility, brand, product features, and social influence significantly predicted purchase intention, explaining approximately 65.4% of its variance. The findings suggest that building strong brands, emphasizing attractive product features, and leveraging social influence can positively impact consumers' purchase intentions. The study provides valuable insights for smartphone marketers in understanding and influencing consumer behaviour in the Kathmandu Valley market. However, further research is recommended to explore specific aspects of compatibility and identify additional factors that may influence consumer purchasing decisions in this context.
