Abstract

This study reinterprets the Haroa tradition a Buton ritual of gratitude rich in spiritual and social values using Fazlur Rahman's double movement hermeneutic method to address questions regarding its theological legitimacy. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study analyzes Haroa culture and Rahman's methodology. The analysis through Rahman's First Movement reveals that Haroa emerged from an accommodative Islamization process, integrating Islamic principles into local culture. The core normative values found gratitude, social solidarity, and moral education are consistent with the ethical values of the Qur'an. The Second Movement confirms the enduring relevance of these moral values in the modern context. Haroa functions as a crucial space for collective ethical education and dialog amidst contemporary social challenges like individualism and weakening solidarity. In conclusion, the Haroa tradition is recognized as urf shalih (a good tradition) in line with Sharia principles. It possesses a strong, relevant theological value foundation, acting as an effective medium for the contextual internalization of Qur’anic morals within the Buton community.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires Islamic preachers (da’i), both those with established scholarly authority and younger generations, to adapt to contemporary developments. Social media, particularly TikTok, has emerged as a strategic platform for disseminating Islamic preaching (da’wah) widely and efficiently. The use of TikTok for da’wah purposes should be guided by an understanding of Islamic jurisprudential principles, especially regarding the objectives of media utilization, to ensure that the content promotes public benefit and avoids negative impacts on individuals and society. This study aims to examine the role of TikTok in enhancing the quality and reach of Islamic da’wah. Using a qualitative approach, the research analyzes da’wah content and interaction patterns between preachers and viewers. The findings indicate that TikTok plays a significant role in expanding the reach of Islamic da’wah and improving the quality of religious messages through creative, interactive, and aesthetically appealing content. Active engagement between da’i and audiences, particularly in responding to viewers’ questions and concerns, contributes to improved religious understanding and positive reciprocal relationships. Furthermore, visually attractive presentations and compelling narratives increase audience engagement, repeated visits, and content sharing, thereby strengthening the effectiveness of digital Islamic preaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran dakwah pondok pesantren sebagai produsen pembentuk realitas sosial melalui proses konstruksi nilai sosial keagamaan, pengetahuan dan reproduksi praktik sosial. Penelitain ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi kasus di pondok pesantren Al-Fatah Tapadaka Kecamatan Dumoga Utara, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pesantren memiliki fungsi sebagai institusi sosial keagamaan yang secara sistematis memproduksi nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral melalui praktik keseharian, tradisi pesantren dan adanya relasi antar Kiai dan santri. Proses eksternalisasi ini berlangsung melalui keteladaan Kiai dan adanya pengaturan kehidupan pesantren yang kemudian mengalami objektivikasi dalam bentuk norma dan tradisi institusi, serta diinternalisasikan oleh para santri sebagai bagian dari pola pikir dan identitas diri. Lebih lanjut, nilai dan praktik sosial pesantren direproduksi oleh santri dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, sehingga berkontribusi pada transformasi realitas sosial. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan bahwa pesantren memiliki posisi stretagis sebagai produsen, mediator, dan pembentukan realitas sosial yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Perkembangan komunikasi digital membawa kemudahan dalam pengelolaan administrasi kependudukan, namun sekaligus memunculkan ancaman serius terhadap keamanan data pribadi. Sejak 2020, Indonesia berkali-kali mengalami insiden kebocoran data berskala besar yang mengungkap berbagai kelemahan dalam ekosistem perlindungan data. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam bagaimana sistem data kependudukan dikelola, batas kemampuan teknis yang dimiliki instansi di tingkat bawah, peran pemerintah melalui regulasi, dan berbagai insiden nyata yang memperlihatkan risiko kebocoran data. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui komunikasi digital yang integratif dan kolaboratif antar pemangku kepentingan, upaya perlindungan data pribadi dapat diwujudkan secara optimal

Abstract

This study analyzes the communication strategy of Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta in the midst of the socio-economic crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic by setting four problem formulations, namely (1) How is Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication strategy in increasing Ziswaf income in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic; (2) How is Dompet Dhuafa's communication effort in maintaining Muzakki in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic; (3) Supporting factors for Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication in increasing Ziswaf; and (4) Factors inhibiting Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication in increasing Ziswaf during Covid 19. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative with a case study model. Data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results of the study are (1) Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta's communication strategy in increasing and maintaining muzakki, namely through digital marketing strategies, utilization of social media and utilization of print media, (2) in maintaining muzakki's trust using Case Relathionship Management (CRM) and selection of communicators in delivering the message, (3) The supporting factors, the number of volunteers, social media, and partners who joined in breaking the spread of Covid-19, and the (4) inhibiting factors are, Covid-19, media, and adaptation.
