Abstract

Literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan merupakan fondasi penting dalam membangun masyarakat yang inklusif, harmonis, dan berdaya saing di era globalisasi. Dalam konteks masyarakat Islam, kedua literasi ini memiliki relevansi yang signifikan, mengingat Islam mengajarkan nilai-nilai universal yang dapat bersinergi dengan keberagaman budaya dan prinsip-prinsip kewarganegaraan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep literasi budaya dan kewarganegaraan, serta perannya dalam membangun identitas masyarakat Islam yang kuat sekaligus inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, yang mengintegrasikan teori literasi budaya, kewarganegaraan, dan nilai-nilai keislaman. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa literasi budaya membantu masyarakat Islam memahami dan menghargai keberagaman, sementara literasi kewarganegaraan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan sosial dan politik. Penguatan peran lembaga pendidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam mengajarkan kompetensi budaya Islam dan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan untuk membangun masyarakat Islam yang inklusif, berintegritas, dan bertanggung jawab sebagai warga dunia.

Abstract

Pentingnya literasi sains dalam dakwah bil-hikmah terletak pada kemampuannya untuk memperkuat argumen dan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap agama. Dengan pendekatan ini, dakwah tidak hanya menjadi sekadar penyampaian pesan, tetapi juga sebuah dialog yang konstruktif dan bermakna. menggunakan studi kepustakaan (library research). Dalam memperoleh data penelitian, mengumpulkan, menganalisis, mengorganisasi, sumber dari artikel, buku, penelitian terdahulu yang membahas tentang literasi sains dan dakwah bil hikmah. Hasil penelitian menemukan integritas sains dalam dakwah dapat membantu membangun jembatan antara agama dan ilmu pengetahuan, sehingga mempermudah para Mubaligh dalam memperluas wilayah dakwah dalam impementasi literasi sains melalui dakwah bil-hikmah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategic management implemented by the Al-Izzah Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) in forming the millennial preaching generation. The millennial generation has unique characteristics, such as being adaptive to technology, tends to be creative, and is active on social media, so a strategic da'wah approach is really needed. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of LDK Al-Izzah administrators, active members, and students involved in da'wah programs. The research results show that LDK Al-Izzah implements three main stages in strategic management: (1) Planning, through preparing a technology-based vision, mission and da'wah program; (2) Implementation, by utilizing social media, inter-organizational collaboration, and competency-based training; and (3) Evaluation, through regular assessments of program success and its impact on member development. This strategy has proven effective in increasing student participation and creating a millennial generation who is able to preach creatively and relevantly to the challenges of the times. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for other campus Da'wah institutions in developing adaptive and innovative da'wah strategies, as well as supporting the role of campuses as centers for the format ion of future generations of da'wah.

Abstract

The post-truth era has presented serious challenges in social, political, and religious life, where objective facts are often trumped by emotions and personal beliefs. This phenomenon has resulted in a character crisis and a weakening of religious awareness, especially among the younger generation living in a digital information flow without value filters. This paper aims to conceptually examine da'wah-based education as a strategy for building character and religious awareness amidst the challenges of the post-truth era. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach. The results of the study indicate that da'wah-based education that integrates the values of tabligh, ta'lim, tarbiyah, and tazkiyah is able to foster students holistically, both intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Da'wah in education not only conveys teachings normatively, but also touches on the dimensions of awareness, habituation, and contextualization of religious values in real life. In its implementation, a collaborative strategy is needed between teachers, families, educational institutions, and the intelligent and ethical use of digital media. Thus, da'wah-based education has strong relevance in forming a generation that is morally resilient, critical in thinking, and religiously conscious amidst the post-truth reality.

Abstract

This study is a comprehensive literature review that examines the dynamics of intercultural communication in Indonesia based on previous studies. The research focuses on two main aspects, namely normativity and historicity. Normativity encompasses the values and social norms that shape patterns of cross-cultural communication, such as customs, speaking etiquette, and social hierarchy. Meanwhile, historicity refers to the historical background that shapes relations between ethnic, religious, and regional groups, including the influence of colonialism, migration, and government policies in shaping Indonesia's multicultural landscape. Data was obtained from 15 primary and secondary sources, including nationally indexed journal articles, academic books, and official reports from international institutions such as UNESCO and the World Bank. The results of the study indicate that intercultural communication in Indonesia is greatly influenced by factors such as language, religious beliefs, social perceptions, and the complex history of interactions between groups. Tensions and harmony in communication often stem from individuals' lack of readiness to understand cultural differences. Therefore, effective communication strategies must include cultural adaptation, strengthening attitudes of tolerance, and improving cultural literacy through education and the media. This study recommends integrating an intercultural approach into education and communication training curricula to build an inclusive and mutually respectful society. These findings provide important contributions to the development of social policies and communication practices amid Indonesia's dynamic cultural diversity.
