Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workaholism on turnover intention and examine the moderating role of burnout among Generation Z employees in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach with an associative causal research design. Data were collected from 150 Generation Z employees using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was distributed through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM. The results showed that workaholism has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. In addition, burnout was found to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. The moderating test results revealed that burnout significantly strengthens the relationship between workaholism and turnover intention among Generation Z employees. These findings indicate that employees who excessively engage in work are more likely to develop turnover intention when they experience higher levels of burnout. This study contributes theoretically to the literature on organizational behavior and human resource management, particularly in understanding the psychological dynamics of Generation Z employees in modern workplaces. Practically, the findings suggest that organizations should implement strategies that support employee well-being, mental health, and work-life balance in order to reduce burnout and minimize turnover intention.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of promotional strategies and pricing mechanisms on retailers' purchasing decisions within the business-to-business (B2B) distribution ecosystem of internet data voucher packages. The research was conducted at PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara (PT DIVA), an authorized distributor serving retail partners across Bogor Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative survey approach was employed using proportional random sampling, with data collected through structured questionnaires administered to active retail partners. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The findings reveal that both promotional strategies and pricing have positive and significant effects on retailers' purchasing decisions, both individually and simultaneously. These results indicate that effective promotional programs combined with competitive pricing play a crucial role in strengthening retailers' purchasing intentions and enhancing distributor–retailer relationships in the B2B market. This study contributes to the literature on B2B marketing by highlighting the strategic importance of promotion and pricing in the telecommunications distribution sector and provides practical implications for distributors seeking to improve retail partner engagement and purchasing performance within Indonesia's rapidly evolving digital economy.

Abstract

Global industrial development has seen progress in environmental friendliness. The industry is required to increase global competition while continuing to prioritize sustainability. This situation has pushed the halal market to adopt an alternative ethical approach. Indonesia, the world's leading modest fashion producer, faces a problem with textile waste, which reaches 2.3 tons annually. This article aims to analyze halal ethics and thayyib (goodness of fit) in supporting environmental sustainability (hifdzul bi'ah) in the halal fashion sector. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review and content analysis. The data used include secondary data from SGIE and MEKSI reports, articles, books, and digital information. The results show a shift in the ethical paradigm in halal standardization, which goes beyond the normative halal approach. This shift is driven by pioneering brands that consistently implement the 5R principles of sharia. The internalization of environmentally friendly criteria in halal certification regulations has also been initiated through MEKSI 2025-2029. A shift in values and a holistic approach to advancing the halal fashion industry while remaining environmentally friendly are crucial and align with achieving SDGs 8,9, 12, 13, and 15.  This study has several limitations due to its focus on a qualitative descriptive approach and specific brands. Therefore, empirical testing is needed to confirm the results.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of tabṣirah in fashion purchase decisions among middle-class Muslim women. Grounded in the Engel–Blackwell–Miniard (EBM) Consumer Decision Model and mediation theory, the study investigates how consumer motivation, information search, and attitudes toward fashion products influence purchase decisions through tabṣirah as an ethical–spiritual mechanism. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data collected from 151 Muslim women in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that consumer motivation, information search, and attitudes toward fashion products significantly influence tabṣirah. Tabṣirah has a strong positive effect on fashion purchase decisions. The mediation analysis confirms that tabṣirah fully mediates the relationships between consumer motivation, information search, attitudes toward fashion products, and fashion purchase decisions. These findings indicate that psychological and cognitive factors influence purchasing behavior only after being transformed into reflective moral awareness and Sharia-compliant judgment. The study contributes to Islamic consumer behavior literature by extending the EBM model through the integration of tabṣirah as an ethical–spiritual mediating construct and provides practical implications for promoting responsible and value-based fashion consumption among Muslim consumers.
