Abstract

Education is the process of forming students' competencies as a whole and integrated between attitudes, knowledge and skills, the government programs nine years of compulsory education to achieve this. Era 4.0 and Society 5.0 are changing all lines of society's life dynamically, be it economic, socio-cultural, agricultural, even the world of education. Based on research by the Word Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 in Kahar et al (2021), there are 10 main abilities that are most in demand. What is needed to face the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0 is being able to solve complex problems, thinking critically, creatively, having management skills, being able to coordinate with other people, emotional intelligence, being able to assess and make decisions, being service oriented, negotiating skills and cognitive flexibility. This is compatible with the PJBL in Madrasah Aliyah darul ikhlas Islamic Boarding padangsidimpuan learning model which has steps including: 1. learning through processes of searching for data and information about problems raised by the teacher. 2. Learners who foster a sense and attitude of personal and group responsibility among students. 3. Learning that focuses on results or projects. 4. Results or projects are evaluated. The approach that is relevant to the PJBL model is the scientific approach. The learning process is a learning process that is designed in such a way that students actively construct concepts, laws and principles through the stages of observing, formulating problems, proposing and formulating hypotheses, collecting data, analyzing data. and conclude it. The PJBL model based on a scientific approach forms students' science process skills, PJBL based on a scientific approach for science process skills requires knowledge, skills and attitudes competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse hazardous chemicals and biota extinction in environmental physics. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using survey research procedures through literature study and field study.          Literature study was conducted through literature search from books and reputable online sites. Field studies were conducted through observations related to environmental pollution around the residences of VII semester students who took environmental physics courses. The results showed that there are various types of hazardous chemicals that cause biota extinction in environmental physics.

Abstract

Development is an effort to improve technical, theoretical, conceptual and moral abilities according to needs through education and training. So development is more realistic, not just idealistic. Education is difficult to apply in life, development is an effort to improve quality both in terms of material and its substitutes. The research aims to produce an assessment instrument to measure scientific process skills in optical materials, pressure and wave vibrations. The research instrument is a question feasibility test questionnaire addressed to validators and a student response questionnaire. The research subjects were 30 students of class XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru in Batangtoru Dis. The test developed is in the form of reasoned multiple choice and essay. The research results show that: (1) The validity or feasibility of the PPP instrument developed based on experts is valid and suitable for use; (2) Validity of the PPP assessment instrument items developed with valid criteria; (3) The reliability of the questions from the KPS instrument is very strong for multiple choice questions on optics and wave vibrations; strong reliability for pressure material questions; and moderate reliability for essay questions on elasticity, fluids, Newton's laws and wave vibrations; and (4) The questions  questions with a medium level of difficulty

Abstract

The objective of this study is to know about the influence of learning Science using scientific approach with fun science to learning motivation of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students, the influence of learning Natural Science using scientific approach with fun science towards an understanding of the concept of Natural Science of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students, and the influence of learning Natural Science using scientific approach with fun science to learning motivation and understanding of the concept of Natural Science of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students. The object of this research is the VII grade students with "change in physics and chemical changes" learning material. This is a quasi experiment research with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara . The sample in this research were determined with cluster random sampling techniques, therefore it resulted VII A class as the control class and VII B class as the experimental class. The treatment given to the experimental class was using scientific approach to learn with fun science (blobs in a bottle, ice cream, rapid color-changing chemistry, and merapi vulcano), while in the control class was the implementation of EEK learning-based (exploration, Elaboration, and confirmation). The students’ learning motivation data was obtained using students’ learning motivation observation sheets. The students’ understanding of Natural Science data were collected by giving tests before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning. The Hypothesis testing was done by using a manova test after the test met the prerequisites. A prerequisite tests conducted were normality tests and homogeneity test. The results showed that learning using scientific approach with fun science has significantly impact on the students’ learning motivation and understanding concept of Natural Science. The influence of the scientific approach with fun science learning motivation up to 20,1% by average grade learning motivation experiments reached category enough. Scientific approach with fun science also has an impact on the students’ understanding of the concept of Natural Science up to 24,2% with an average increased to reached the category medium.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to stimulate students’ Science Process Skill (SPS) and Science Creativity (SC) in Physics learning on Polarization of Light through the development of problembased e-worksheet assisted with Fliphtml5. This research was a development research with the type of Design and Development Reaserch (DDR). The data from this research were in the form of validation results, assessment of students' science process skills and scientific creativity, as well as practicality test results were analyzed used mixed methods. The results of data validation show that the developed e- worksheet obtained a score of 95.5% with very high validity criteria. Assessment of students' science process skills and scientific creativity obtained a score of 87% in the highly stimulated criteria. Other results show that the practicality of the product is 89% in the very high category, the student response is 83% in the very good criteria, and the teacher's perception is 92% in the very possible criteria. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the students’ science process skills and scientific creativity in Physics learning on Polarization of Light can be stimulated through problembased e-worksheet assisted with Fliphtml5.
