JPB is a platform to publish the results of Community Service activities for academics and national practitioners. JPB accepts articles for various service focuses according to the theme of the publication period. The articles to be published are original works and have never been published. The submitted articles will be reviewed by a team of reviewers who come from internal and external Universitas Putera Batam. JPB has been indexed online by LIPI with the numbers 2656-3959. The submitted article is not plagiarism or without data manipulation. The submitted articles will be evaluated from the aspects of originality, novelty, contribution and presentation. The review process will take place within 3-4 weeks. The editor will confirm with the author about the review results. The review process policy uses a double-blind review. All papers to be published will pass a plagiarism test process with a maximum plagiarism rate of 25%. Jurnal Pengabdian Barelang focuses on improving community welfare and developing community life. Abstract

Penyebab kematian ibu dan bayi dapat dicegah dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan (antenatal care atau ANC) yang memadai dengan memberikan alat skrining Kartu Skor Poedji Rochjati (KSPR) oleh mitra kesehatan (kader) dan petugas kesehatan lainnya. Cakupan deteksi dini ibu hamil resiko tinggi di kelurahan Kurao Pagang Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Nanggalo Padang paling rendah jika dibandingkan dengan 2 kelurahan lainnya yaitu hanya sebesar 7,8% .Hasil diskusi yang dilakukan tim pengabdi terhadap mitra didapatkan rendahnya capaian ini dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan masyarakat dan kemampuan kader dalam melakukan deteksi dini ibu hamil resiko di lingkungan. Metode pengabdian adalah melakukan penjaringan ibu hamil resiko, penyuluhan kesehatan dengan teknik focus grup diskusi dan simulasi pengisian kartu skor poedji rochyati oleh kader. Hasil pengabdian adalah Lebih dari separoh (60%) ibu hamil terkategori kehamilan resiko tinggi dengan jumlah skor 6. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan mitra kesehatan dalam menggunakan kartu skor poedji rochyati ketika tim pengabdi memberikan contoh kasus sebesar 80%. Deteksi dini (skrinning) sedini mungkin terhadap kehamilan risiko tinggi pada awal kehamilan dapat dilakukan oleh ibu hamil, keluarga dan kader kesehatan untuk mencegah kematian ibu dan bayi

Abstract

Biologi Sel adalah salah satu materi biologi yang abstrak dan tidak menarik bagi para siswa SMA serta menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk membuat siswa paham dengan materi sel. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah membantu meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru biologi SMAK St. Yusup Surabaya melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan implementasi pembelajaran biologi sel menggunakan peraga sederhana. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah guru mata pelajaran biologi dan 22 orang siswa kelas 11 jurusan eksakta. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan terhadap guru biologi dan implementasi terhadap siswa di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah: praktik, simulasi, dan implementasi. Peraga yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan biologi sel adalah batu bata, kolam renang, dan tas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru merasakan manfaat kegiatan, seperti bertambahnya keterampilan guru dalam mengajar yang berpusat pada siswa, 14 orang dari 22 siswa aktif ke depan menuliskan jawaban di papan tulis, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, yang ditunjukkan dengan: respon sangat paham terhadap materi biologi sel dengan rerata 59%, paham dengan rerata 30,2%, dan cukup paham dengan rerata 15,1%. Tidak ada dari siswa yang kurang paham atau tidak paham terhadap pembelajaran biologi sel dengan metode peraga ini.

Abstract

Cordova Bina Amanah entrepreneurship school located at Jurang Mangu, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Banten, is managed by social institutions, which accommodates young people who want to get an education that can be used as provisions to become entrepreneurs around the Jurang Mangu . In developing their education, the school collaborates with FEB Trisakti University which conducts Community Service there using the training method. The air of this community service carried out to increasing knowledge in the field of entrepreneurs and cooperatives, in order to support the improvement of people's welfare, with the hope of obtaining an outcome in the form of increased knowledge of entrepreneurs and cooperatives. Training material provided are procedures for establishing cooperatives, the role of member participation in cooperatives, cooperative organizations, and contracts and transactions in sharia business. The post-implementation results were as expected, due to an increase in the ability of participants on average by 33.75 percent, which before the training was only 45 percent to 78.5 percent.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and increasingly incessant to become a society 5.0, SUBCOMTECH held a training & workshop on the use of technology at Ciputra World Surabaya Mall with technology training materials. One of the material is "the introduction of Google My Business for the use of digital marketing in the era of e-commerce & social media". The introduction of Google My Business for SMEs is felt to be appropriate because the features of the application and web features offered are suitable for MSME scale. Besides the list is free and can also be paid. Digital marketing for a company is a very important part today. No exception for MSME businesses (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) that require internet marketing publications for the continuity and added progress of their business. MSME managers are expected to have skills in internet promotion through digital devices, especially in publicizing products sold and places offered. When a UMKM manager has the ability to manage marketing through digital devices, making it easier to develop his business with wider sales, his products are more widely known and sought after. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the activities to conduct both training and creating a Google My Business application account regarding digital marketing in advancing the MSME sector.

Abstract

Matematika memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik dalam pendidikan formal maupun non formal. Sebagian besar anak beranggapan bahwa pelajaran matematika adalah pelajaran yang sulit, membosankan, tidak menarik bahkan momok yang menakutkan. Oleh sebab itu, selain pihak sekolah, dukungan atau bantuan orang tua dirumah sangat berperan penting dalam membatu pemahaman pembelajaran anak. Dalam pembelajaran matematika orang tua harus kreatif dan pintar untuk mencari cara cepat, tepat dan menyenangkan agar anak dengan mudah memahami penyelesaian soal-soal matematika. Salah satu pelajaran dalam matematika adalah Aljabar. Pelajaran matematika pada siswa Sekolah Dasar yang berkenaan dengan aljabar adalah akar pangkat. Akar pangkat terdiri dari akar pangkat dua, akar pangkat tiga dan seterusnya. Akar Pangkat Tiga merupakan kebalikan dari pemangkatan tiga. Beberapa cara mencari akar pangkat tiga di antaranya dengan menggunakan metode coba-coba, pohon faktor, logaritma, atau menggunakan kalkulator. Dalam kesempatan ini, pengabdi akan memberikan pelatihan kepada warga Perumahan Tembesi Raya tentang cara cepat menghitung hasil akar pangkat tiga dengan cepat, mudah, menyenangkan tanpa menggunakan kalkulator yaitu dengan metode mengetahui interval pada digit ke-1 dan ke-2 sehingga para orang tua dengan mudah dapat membantu anak-anak dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah khususnya dalam akar pangkat tiga.

Abstract

The progress of a nation is determined by the awareness of the people to increase their knowledge. The progress of enhancing the knowledge, besides being determined by formal education will also determined by the culture of literacy of the community. To develop a culture of literacy for all fields of education (schools, families, and communities), The government of Indonesia in 2016 have lounched the National Literacy Movement (GLN). The existence of a village library will greatly support this movement. In Jatiadi, a Village of Probolinggo district already has a library, but its existence is still not representative to be able to encourage the community to use it. Through this Activity, we want to enhance the benefit of the library by optimizing Village Libraries fungtion to encourage the increasing of the literacy culture of community in order the people can get the information and knowledge they need that is useful for improving their quality and standard of living.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to foster children's growth and development comprehensively and with quality through stimulation, detection and early intervention activities for growth and developmental deviations in the first 5 years of life. SIDTK is conducted in the Pasar Usang Puskesmas area, especially in Nurul Hikmah Kanagarian Kasang Kindergarten. This dedication activity is carried out by detecting the growth and development of children in Nurul Hikmah Kindergarten by jumping directly on the children to get immediate results of examinations such as weight, height, head circumference, and mental emotional problems as well as delays in communication, namely language and speech. Achieving these goals is done through training with lecture, question and answer and giving intervention methods. As for suggestions that can be submitted from the results of community service, for kindergarten teachers are expected to always seek SDITK activities for their students. Health practitioners are expected to be able to help kindergarten teachers in conducting SIDTK regularly. For LP2M through STIKes Mercubaktijaya Padang it should always entice similar programs to continue to be implemented and developed.

Abstract

Tim pelaksana KKN di MA Darul Ulum Karangpandan melaksanakan 3 program, antara lain progam lingkungan, program literasi dan program kewirausahaan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya sikap kepeduliah terhadap lingkungan, pasifnya Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dan kurangnya wadah di bidang kewirausaan di sekolah. Pemecahan masalah yang dapat dilakukan dengan pendampingan yaitu memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan pelatihan perilaku. (1) Program lingkungan meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi tanaman toga, sosialisasi pembuatan pot, edukasi tentang teknik static solution culture, sosialisasi Penggolongan sampah dan pengadaan taman sekolah. Program lingkungan bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan sikap peduli terhadap kearsian lingkungan di Sekolah. (2) Program Literasi meliputi pembuatan mading, administrasi perpustakaan, identitas kelas dan desain grafis. Program literasi mampu meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya gerakan literasi sekolah. (3) Program kewirausahaan meliputi pelatihan pembuatan produk, pelatihan pemasaran produk dan pelatihan manajemen keuangan. Program kewirausahaan berguna dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kewirausahaan yang melibatkan siswa agar mereka merasakan manfaatnya secara langsung. Metode kegiatan menggunakan : (1) penyuluhan atau sosialisasi, dan (2) metode seminar loka karya. Pada akhirnya Tim KKN STKIP PGRI Pasuruan mampu membuat sekolah di pinggir proyek jalan tol Pas-Pro ini menjadi lebih sejuk.

Abstract

The purpose of this Join Community Service (PKM) with Faculty of Economy and Business Trisakti University and Faculty OF Economy and Business Esa Unggul University activity is to increase understanding of the Islamic economy and Islamic financial and banking institutions for school-aged children in environment of Masjid Luar Batang, Jakarta Indonesia. The method used is a survey and observation method with descriptive analysis from previous literature studies. The survey and observation methods were carried out by conducting direct outreach socialisation by presenting speakers and extension workers to school age. The material provided by giving an explanation of Islamic economics and the mechanism of Islamic financial institutions and banking. The next activity is evaluating the extension activities with interactions during the counseling session, such as questions and answers where questions from the instructor can be answered properly. Understanding of Islamic economics in school-age children in environment of Masjid Luar Batang has increased, but support from industry and the government is expected to be able to produce human resources that are reliable and can compete at the international level.

Abstract

Nowadays, the mathematics teachers have to implement mathematics learning using technology, especially for vocational mathematics teachers. Technological applications that can be utilized in learning mathematics include maple. Maple is mathematical software that integrates computational capabilities both symbolic and numerical, graphics are very influential to help in solving mathematical problems. The method offered in solving partner problems is by organizing maple graph training and mentoring in applying maple graphics in mathematics learning. The success of this community service activity is supported by some factors, namely: high interest and desire in participating in training activities to completion, interest and support from Singosari PGRI Vocational School as a partner school in maple graph training activities, active involvement so that there is mutual sharing of knowledge about maple graphics. The community service activity with maple graphic training gets a positive response from vocational teachers with an achievement of 93%, the results of the presentation of maple graphics with very good achievements are 87%. This community service activity with maple graphic training for Singosari Vocational School teachers are very useful in adding insight of computer knowledge, especially the use of maple graphics, and fostering creativity and skills in using maple graphics in mathematics learning.
