JPB is a platform to publish the results of Community Service activities for academics and national practitioners. JPB accepts articles for various service focuses according to the theme of the publication period. The articles to be published are original works and have never been published. The submitted articles will be reviewed by a team of reviewers who come from internal and external Universitas Putera Batam. JPB has been indexed online by LIPI with the numbers 2656-3959. The submitted article is not plagiarism or without data manipulation. The submitted articles will be evaluated from the aspects of originality, novelty, contribution and presentation. The review process will take place within 3-4 weeks. The editor will confirm with the author about the review results. The review process policy uses a double-blind review. All papers to be published will pass a plagiarism test process with a maximum plagiarism rate of 25%. Jurnal Pengabdian Barelang focuses on improving community welfare and developing community life. Abstract

Para Ibu Rumah Tangga (IRT) Bengkong Palapa ikut serta dalam membantu memenuhi kebutuhaan biaya rumah tangga. Hal ini dikarenakan keluarga di Perumahan Bengkong Palapa bergantung kepada perolehan pendapatan dari gaji bulanan kepala keluarga yang bekerja yaitu inovasi membangun usaha rumah tangga. Inovasi seeprti menjual makanan ringan seperti keripik dan kue bawang. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kapasitas produksi yaitu dengan membina merencanakan produksi dengan membuat peramalan permintaan produk sehingga dapat dibuat rencana produksi. Metode pengabdian dibagi menjadi dua yaitu metode pelaksanaan kegiatan (penyampaian materi, praktek langsung (learning by doing) dan pendampingan) dan metode topik pengabdian (metode peramalan permintaan produk dan perencanaan produksi). Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, diperoleh bahwa Mitra Keripik dan Mitra Kue Bawang masih menggunakan metode perkiraan dan pengalaman hasil penjualan dalam menentukan rencana jumlah produksi. Selain itu, mitra keripik dan mitra kue bawang sudah mulai mencoba menerapkan perencanaan produksi dengan konsep peramalan. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi tersebut, mitra keripik dan mitra kue bawang dapat meminimasi pemborosan overproduction dan menjadwalkan produksi secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Setiap keluarga di Perumahan Bengkong Palapa bergantung kepada perolehan pendapatan dari gaji bulanan kepala keluarga yang bekerja sehingga ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Perumahan Bengkong Palapa untuk membantu perekonomian keluarga dengan inovasi membangun usaha rumah tangga di Perumahan Bengkong Palapa. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are growing rapidly in recent years. This activity is a government effort to improve the economy of its people. This is not wasted by the community, especially those in the city of Batam. Many home-based businesses have emerged that are varied and do not miss using existing technology. One of them is using Facebook and Instagram applications. On Facebook, there are many online buying and selling forums. On Instagram it is the same. Many accounts post merchandise with photo or video media. But there are also other types of applications that can be utilized, namely Google My Business. This application is a feature developed by Google to move business towards the world of digital technology and digital markets. On Google My Business, all of these things already exist, one package all when we have registered with the application. However, the use of this application made by Google is not well known by the public, especially in MSMEs. Therefore proper coaching needs to be done so that the use of this google application can be utilized to the maximum extent possible and of course also brings more benefits as well.

Abstract

Indonesia's bamboo potential is currently ranked third after India and China. Bamboo holds enormous opportunities and potential to be utilized in improving the economy. However, the potential of bamboo possessed by this nation has not been utilized optimally, this material is very important because it can be classified into a sustainable germplasm, with a note that the use is not excessive and the extraction is right. What happened in Indonesia, bamboo continued to be cut down without any effort to plant and maintain so that the number of bamboo populations continued to decline. Some areas with good potential for bamboo include Gunungkidul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Efforts to increase the value of bamboo also need to be balanced with conservation efforts as an increase in bamboo biodiversity itself. The existence of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) at the end of 2015 is a broader economic and market integration. This indicates open competition for trade in goods, services, investment, capital and workers. From these problems, we create a socio-ecopreneur with the theme "a million bamboos for my Indonesia". This product is made from 100% bamboo material, then innovates on bamboo crafts to become a creative, eco-friendly, sustainable, and originally hand made industrial product. This product is suitable for use as house accessories, household utilities, and others. This product uses traditional lamination technology (press) and bamboo preservation. we also developed a bamboo business management model that is beneficial for the economic resilience of local communities, especially for communities in Hargomulyo Village and at the same time beneficial to environmental biodiversity. Using a global interconnection ethnographic approach where we and the community are fully involved in the activity process starting from assessment, planing, implementation (action), until monitoring-evaluation.

Abstract

Community service activities aim to provide skills to partners regarding the installation of electricity at home or residence also provide an understanding of the dangers posed by the electricity. And it is expected that the target partners will be able to transmit their abilities to the surrounding community as well as other members of the Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) from Bencongan Indah, Tangerang. The approach method in solving existing problems is by conducting Technology Transfer Methods in the form of direct training. Implementation Activities of The Community Service Program is divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and stages monitoring. Participants can take part in the activity well. It can be seen from the amount of curiosity they had about the material provided. Follow-up activities are carried out after the participants have applied some of the knowledge conveyed by the Service Team. Follow-up activities are intended to determine the impact of this activity. The activity is in the form of an obligation for participants to re-practice and understand the dangers of electricity and how to secure, read installation drawings, measure voltage, detect broken connections and can install home lighting with various switches and sockets in accordance with the requirements General Electrical Installation (PUIL). The results of the evaluations that have been conducted, it can be seen that the participants' knowledge to install lighting in the house increases and opens the mind of the participants to take advantage of the opportunities available to increase income. About 85% of participants actively responded positively to the skills and knowledge conveyed by the team.

businesses, but now it can be said that the internet has become one of the mandatory things for various groups, especially the majority of young people. Technological advances are the answer to the progress of globalization that is increasingly enveloping the world. A progress that will certainly have an impact on the civilization of the student's life. The large number of students who also act as users of information and communication technology, proves that their lives are never separated from the role of information technology. The ease of accessing the internet, such as the many scattered internet cafes, schools that began to provide facilities and provide lessons on the internet. But this is not balanced with knowledge about the use and use of the internet that is good for some groups. There is a possibility that there is an abuse of the internet for things that are harmful. The target of the implementation of this service activity is the youth group of kelurahan Kelapa Dua, Tangerang. The target of this training is to get an overview of the use of information technology in this case the internet as a form of activity and work tools in various fields, acquiring skills regarding internet use that can be used as information and entertainment media, and finally, make young people more creative and innovative and applying knowledge that is owned to the community. The output of this activity is to increase knowledge and skills for the younger generation in using and using the internet well. Also the younger generation is able to optimize the use of the internet in existing resource development activities.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is currently developing so rapidly, the number of the latest innovations in all areas, including education. The development of media-based learning, information and communication technologies such as e-learning or virtual learning which are capable of improving the quality of interactive learning because users are friendly, useful interface features are used quite comfortable for the user so that the user does not get bored, moreover technologies be accessible anywhere and anytime a user is currently learning system, which is still the conventional good already assessed where all the references in the form of books, student worksheets and other learning media must exist, it is certainly not all students get to have all the references, sometimes a certain disaat-saat user forget bring or had to borrow to the other so that it becomes the bottleneck in the process learning. However, the application of information and communication technology as a medium is required in supporting the learning process, the user can perform the work practice or learn the theories related to the learning process in schools is becoming more easy with the utilization of this technology. Using the method of accompaniment in implementing this activity, that accompany the activities from the beginning until the end of this activity, as well as the explanation of the memperikan benefit that can be obtained with the utilization of android-based applications and the expected able to give a positive impact to a better education.

Abstract

Besides being able to work directly, vocational school graduates (SMK) can also continue to higher levels of education is universities, but choosing majors in higher education certainly adjusts to the interests and abilities of students. The problem that often occurs is the lack of students' knowledge about future plans so that many SMK graduates are actually unemployed, this is due to a lack of knowledge about preparing to enter the workforce and if they want to a student of univerities a lack of information about the majors to take and how to choose a good and right universities. To deal with these problems need to be given guidance to students about preparing to enter the world of work or college. The service method that is carried out is discourse method with two meetings and four different speakers. The first meeting was about how to get job information, how to make a cover letter, interview techniques and job interviews and how to choose the right major in universities. The second meeting with material about financial reporting using MYOB. From the distributed questionnaire the results show that students are satisfied with the lesson given and hope to become a regular agenda at school before students finish their education.

Abstract

Saos digunakan sebagai penyedap bahan makanan. Saos dibuat dari berbagai buah-buahan, salah satu buah-buahan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar untuk membuat saos adalah buah pepaya karena terdapat kandungan gizi yang baik bagi tubuh seperti karbohidrat, serat, asam folat, vitamin, dan berbagai macam mineral yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh. Saos adalah bubur buah kental berwarna menarik (biasanya merah), mempunyai aroma dan rasa yang merangsang (dengan tanpa rasa pedas). Walau kandungan air dalam saos cukup besar, masa simpan saos dalam jangka waktu yang panjang karena asam, gula, dan garam sebagai pengawet alami. Saos juga dapat diolah dari bahan lainnya seperti cabai, dan tomat. Setiap bahan yang digunakan pada pembuatan saos mempunyai fungsi tertentu yang betujuan untuk memperbaiki rasa, warna, aroma, dan kekentalan. Gula akan memberikan rasa manis, garam akan memberikan rasa asin, cuka akan memberikan rasa asam dan sekaligus memberikan efek pengawetan karena sebagian besar mikroorganisme tidak tahan terhadap kondisi asam. Rempah-rempah akan memperbaiki aroma dan cita rasa. Pembuatan saos pepaya melalui beberapa tahap yaitu pembuatan pasta, pencampuran bahan tambahan makanan, pemasakan dan pengemasan. Dalam pembuatan pasta pepaya, pepaya segar dihaluskan terlebih dahulu, kemudian ditambahkan bahan yang lainnya dan setelah produk saos sudah jadi dilanjutkan proses pengemasan selanjutnya saos sudah siap untuk dipasarkan.
