Abstract

The researcher did an repaired action with using a puzzle media on identify two dimention space subject. Thus, the study aimed to describe the use of Puzzle as a medium to improve the score of mathematics in the material of identification of the characteristics of two dimensien space media in the fifth grader of an elementary school and to identify the difficulties in the learning process. This study was a classroom action research and the data were described quantitatively. The data of this study were collected through the observation and students’ final score, observation was used to analyze the percentage of teacher activity in the class while the students’ final score was aided to know the students’ improvement. The research subjects were the fifth graders of elementary Sedenganmijen, Krian, Sidoarjo. The result of the study showed that there was a significant improvement, in the first circle the percentage of successful students was 68% while in the second circle the percentage was improved to 92%. It can be concluded that the learning process using Puzzle two dimensien space media could improve the students’ achievement in the learning material of identification of characteristics of two dimensien in the elementary school.

Abstract

Departing from a background of this research is the existence of various ethnic, tribal, and culture in Indonesia which is lifted into an ideology at the university Yudharta Pasuruan. Diversity becomes a social force to build the nation and this theory also becomes the vision of Yudharta University Mission which stands as education development program in Ngalah Pondok Pesantren Foundation. Conflict occurring in some places is a picture of how diversity of diversity can create violence and loss. Therefore, multicultural education is important to develop. Yudharta University, which is the only University that plotted as The Multicultural University and the largest campus in Pasuruan responded to this challenge in accordance with the ideology of caregivers who washatiyah and democratic. This study shows that the implementation of multicultural education at Yudharta University is going well. The university applies the concept of multicultural education by: (a) Creating MoUs with campus religious lintasa, some social institutions, social groups, banks, and others. (b) Opens the opportunity to learn from various religions, cultures, ideologies, races and sexes or discriminates Gander (c) Creates a rich curriculum design with multiculturalism, providing opportunities for self-exploitation with student center activities such as BEM, UKM, Traning and edu Entrepreneurs, scouts, mountaineers and others. In terms of strategies to enrich the value of multiculturalism University Yudharta Pasuruan put this subject into the learning process and become a reference policy stakeholders to the ideals of the institution that has been in.

Abstract

This study is started with disclosure of issues faced by studentsof intensive program for Arabic language in Institute KH.Abdul chalim Pacet Mojokerto . The main objective of this research revealed the problem afflicting students in learning oral classical Arabic, identifying the causes and suggesting some appropriate treatments to solve. This study suggested solutions to solve those problems such as :Tohelp the students to develop their process in traditional Arabic, it is needed to the students to take the benefits from any means, as teacher teaches them by reading newspaper, magazine and scientific journal which gave them increase the outcome of their linguistics ability, The commitment from the lectures of all subjects to speak in well-structured Arabic and avoid using non Arabic is needed, The students are trained to have well-structured Arabic in their conversation and are encouraged to speak fluently, In order to enhance the quality of use the well-structured Arabic around students, the department of education at university is strongly suggested to hold some seminars related to classical Arabic.

Abstract

Cognitive behavioral therapy can improve self-confident in social interaction that experienced by children. CBT of implementation can be integrated with religious, spirituality, and play therapy. Those have been studied theoretically and practically. There are various advantages in integrating religious, spirituality, and play techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy for early childhood. Thus, the intervention and development of counseli are expected to be more effective and efficient. This article try to explain about integrated religious and spirituality into cognitive behavioral therapy without releasing the element of play for the child.

Abstract

This review will discuss the position and relevance of Islamic religious education at the Public University (PTU), which will explain the development of character-oriented PAI development with several studies, namely philosophical foundations and character education theories, positions and outlook on education Islamic religion in universities and the advantages and functions of Islamic education in higher education. The preparation is intended as knowledge in the development of Islamic Religious Studies course in college. It also aims to increase the intellectual treasury, about the role of Islamic religious education in college.
