Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price perception, and service quality on customer satisfaction at Pondok Poteng Restaurant in Singkawang City. This research uses an associative quantitative approach with a total of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show the equation Y = 1.018 + 0.219X₁ + 0.238X₂ + 0.223X₃ with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.712, indicating a strong relationship. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 50.6%, which means that 50.6% of the variation in customer satisfaction is influenced by product quality, price perception, and service quality. The F test shows an F calculated value of 32.842, which is greater than the F table value of 2.70, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect. The partial t test also shows that each variable product quality, price perception, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. In conclusion, these three variables have a real contribution to increasing customer satisfaction. This study recommends strengthening product quality standards, adjusting pricing strategies to be more competitive, and improving service management to maintain customer loyalty. Future research is expected to add other variables, such as promotion or brand image, so that the results can be more comprehensive.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership on employee performance, with employee loyalty as a mediating variable, at Koperasi Jasa Syariah Khairu Ummah. Based on data analysis and structural model testing, several key findings were identified. First, servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, indicating that a leadership style prioritizing employee needs, support, and empathy enhances emotional attachment and commitment to the organization. Second, employee loyalty positively and significantly influences employee performance, suggesting that loyal employees are more motivated and likely to perform better. Third, servant leadership does not directly affect employee performance, implying the presence of a mediating variable. Finally, employee loyalty is proven to mediate the relationship between servant leadership and employee performance, meaning that effective implementation of servant leadership increases loyalty, which in turn improves performance. Overall, the findings emphasize the crucial role of servant leadership in fostering employee loyalty as a foundation for enhancing performance, especially in value-based, sharia-oriented organizations.

Abstract

Amidst challenges such as climate change, and the increasing demand for organic food, hydroponic farming has become an attractive option for farmers and businesses. Seeing this, the supplier-buyer relationship itself plays an important role in meeting market demand for the sustainability of the supply chain. The problem statement for this research is how buyer-supplier relationships and their effects on supply chain sustainability are influenced by the quality of communication (X1), relationship commitment (X2), and cooperation (X3). This research aims to ascertain how cooperation with buyer-supplier relationships, relationship commitment, and communication quality affect supply chain sustainability. With a sample size of 110 respondents12 farmers and 98 buyers. SmartPls 3.0 is the methodology employed. The study's findings indicate that supplier-buyer relationships are positively and significantly impacted by cooperation, relationship commitment, and communication quality. Additionally, supplier-buyer relationships can mediate the impact of these three factors on supply chain sustainability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, population, energy consumption, and Human Development Index (HDI) on Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) emissions in 11 ASEAN countries during the period 2013–2021. The research applies a dynamic panel regression method using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) approach. The research results indicate that although Economic Growth (GDP) has a positive yet insignificant impact in the short term, it shows a weak and positive impact in the long term, indicating continued reliance on fossil energy that has not been separated completely from economic growth. Population (POP) has a positive and significant impact on CO₂ emissions, both in the short and long term, indicating that increasing population leads to higher energy demand and greater economic activity. Energy Consumption (ERG) has an insignificant impact, due to the diversity of energy sources, including renewable energy, or measurement inefficiencies. The Human Development Index (HDI) has a negative and significant impact, especially in the long term, showing that improving human quality through education, health, and the economy can promote sustainable development and reduce CO₂ emissions. The policy implications of this research include controlling the impact of population through sustainable urban planning, strengthening environmentally based Human Development, decarbonizing economic growth, and implementing long-term strategies such as regional collaboration for a clean energy transition. These findings contribute theoretically to the advancement of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) model.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze determinants factors of economic growth among provinces in Indonesia during the period of 2016–2022 using a dynamic panel data approach. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita serves as the main indicator of regional economic performance. The independent variables include road length, number of schools, average length of schooling, life expectancy, labor force participation rate (TPAK), skilled labor, and the Information and Communication Technology Development Index (ICT-DI). The estimation results show that human capital variables, especially average length of schooling and life expectancy, have a positive and significant effect on increasing GRDP per capita. The TPAK variable also shows a significant contribution in driving economic growth. On the other hand, physical infrastructure variables such as road length and number of schools have a significant negative effect, indicating that infrastructure development is not effective enough if it is not accompanied by an increase in quality and utilization. The skilled labor and ICT-DI variables do not show a statistically significant effect, indicating that there is still a gap between technological capacity and workforce skills. In addition, this research finds a process of economic convergence among provinces, with a convergence speed of 0.5094, which means around 50% of the gap in GRDP per capita can be corrected within one year. This finding emphasizes the importance of a development strategy that balances physical investment and strengthens the quality of human resources and digital transformation to support sustainable and inclusive regional economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of corruption and shadow economy on the economy and sustainable development in developing countries in the ASEAN region. Corruption and shadow economy are two interrelated phenomena that have serious implications for governance, resource allocation efficiency, and the achievement of long-term development goals. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel ARDL) method to identify short-term and long-term effects among variables. The variables used include corruption perception index (CPI), size of the shadow economy (SE), Gross Domestic Product per capita (GDP per capita), and Sustainable Development Index (SDG Index). The data used are secondary data obtained from various official institutions such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Sustainable Development Report (SDR). The research results show that in the short term, neither corruption nor the shadow economy has a significant effect on GDP per capita or the SDG Index. However, in the long term, the shadow economy has a negative and significant effect on GDP per capita and the SDG Index. Meanwhile, corruption (CPI) also has a negative and significant effect on GDP per capita, but shows a positive and significant effect on the SDG Index. These findings show the complexity of the correlation among variables and the need for integrated policies that look upon the interaction between corruption and shadow economy in an effort to improve economic performance and achieve sustainable development in ASEAN developing countries.
