Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of social media strategies, specifically TikTok Live Shopping, in converting reach into active and loyal consumers at Popsio.id, a local fashion brand from Bali specializing in women's bags. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, combining in-depth interviews with brand owners, social media managers, TikTok observers, and consumers, as well as observation and documentation of Popsio.id's digital activities. The study highlights how Popsio.id leverages Instagram as a visual catalog, Shopee as a primary marketplace, and TikTok for interactive engagement and real-time sales. The findings reveal that consistent and entertaining content, particularly during TikTok live sessions, significantly influences consumer engagement and purchasing decisions. Furthermore, soft-selling techniques and trend-sensitive content contribute to avoiding consumer resistance and increasing brand visibility. Despite successfully expanding its reach, Popsio.id still faces challenges in building long-term customer loyalty and ensuring product expectations align with online content. This research contributes to digital marketing theory by applying the hierarchy of effects model and suggesting practical strategies for local brands seeking to increase customer conversion through interactive social platforms. These insights can serve as a reference for other MSMEs aiming to optimize social media as a sales and branding channel.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Job Stress on Turnover Intention with Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, and Normative Commitment as mediating variables in employees of PT. Global Foresight. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method processed through SmartPLS 3.0 software. Data were obtained from 150 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling technique with a judgment sampling type, namely, determining the sample based on certain considerations relevant to the research objectives. The results showed that Job Stress did not have a significant direct effect on Turnover Intention, but had a significant effect on the three dimensions of organizational commitment, namely Affective, Continuance, and Normative Commitment. Furthermore, Affective Commitment and Continuance Commitment were proven to have a significant effect on Turnover Intention and were able to mediate the relationship between Job Stress and Turnover Intention. Conversely, Normative Commitment did not show a significant effect on Turnover Intention and could not act as a mediator. These findings indicate that the influence of job stress on employees' desire to leave the company is more influenced by emotional attachment and considerations of job continuity than normative obligations. This research offers important implications for management in managing work stress and building employee commitment to reduce turnover rates.

Abstract

PT. Bank Mega Syariah Tbk is one of the Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia that plays an important role in supporting economic growth through fund mobilization and financing distribution. The bank’s financial performance is inseparable from its ability to manage Third Party Funds (TPF) and financial ratio indicators such as ROA, ROE, and NPF. Net profit, as the main measure of bank profitability, can be influenced by various factors, both directly and indirectly through intervening variables such as financing. Therefore, this study examines the effect of Third-Party Funds and Financial Ratios on Net Profit with Financing as an intervening variable at PT. Bank Mega Syariah Tbk during the period 2016–2024. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 216 data points, with analysis conducted using descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that Third Party Funds (X₁) have a positive and significant effect on Financing (Z), Third Party Funds (X₁) have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit (Y), Financial Ratios (X₂) have a positive and significant effect on Financing (Z), Financial Ratios (X₂) have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit (Y), Third Party Funds (X₁) have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit (Y) through Financing (Z), and Financial Ratios (X₂) have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit (Y) through Financing (Z) at PT. Bank Mega Syariah. This study indicates that the bank’s success in mobilizing TPF and maintaining healthy financial ratios not only directly affects profitability but also improves financing performance, which ultimately strengthens net profit. In other words, proper fund management and risk management strategies are key to sustaining customer trust, strengthening liquidity, and enhancing the bank’s competitiveness in the Islamic banking industry.

Abstract

Student perception plays a vital role in shaping attitudes, interests, and decisions, particularly in choosing a major and planning a career. Each individual has different perceptions depending on background, expectations, and information received. This study aims to explore the perceptions of final-year and new students in choosing the Sharia Banking major with regard to career prospects. Many students still believe that graduates can only work in banks, although opportunities are more diverse. The research method applied is qualitative, using open-ended questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, consisting of 50 new and 50 final-year students. The findings show that final-year students possess a broader understanding due to academic and internship experiences, while new students tend to have limited views. Factors influencing perceptions include experience, knowledge, and environment. The study suggests the need for early career prospect socialization, stronger collaboration between universities and industry, and students’ active efforts in seeking information and developing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the management of zakat maal in improving the welfare of the poor with a case study on LAZNAS IZI North Sumatra. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and document review. The results show that zakat collection is carried out through several mechanisms, such as direct payments, bank transfers, zakat pick-up services, and socialization to muzaki. However, low zakat literacy is still an obstacle in optimizing the potential for collection. In terms of distribution, zakat is distributed in a consumptive and productive form with a transparent survey and reporting system. This pattern is considered more advanced than a number of other zakat institutions that tend to be consumptive. Empowerment programs such as Lapak Berkah, business capital assistance, skills training, and scholarships have been proven to be able to increase the income and independence of some mustahik. However, the impact is not even due to the limitations of mentoring and low literacy of the beneficiaries' businesses. Other obstacles encountered include the scattered location of mustahik, the minimal number of companions, inappropriate use of funds, and limited program funds. Overall, the management of zakat maal in IZI North Sumatra contributes positively to improving the welfare of the poor, although it needs to be strengthened through continuous mentoring, increasing financial literacy, and wider cooperation so that the results are more optimal and sustainable.
