Abstract

This research aims to assist MSME players in preparing financial statements based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The research subject is the Opak Factory MSME in Sei Mencirim, Medan, which has not previously implemented formal financial records. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the preparation of financial statements in accordance with SAK EMKM includes a statement of financial position, income statement, and notes to the financial statements. This report provides a simple but comprehensive overview of business finances, which can be used to evaluate business performance and attract investors and financing parties. This research proves the importance of standardised financial records for the continuity and development of MSMEs.

Abstract

Online gold trading is a rapidly growing phenomenon along with technological advances and increasing public interest in gold investment. This development offers unprecedented convenience and efficiency, but also presents new challenges and risks that need to be understood. This mini-research will discuss the background to the emergence of online gold trading, its advantages and disadvantages, and its implications for the gold market as a whole. Development of Traditional Gold Investment Before the digital era, gold trading was carried out conventionally through physical gold shops. Transactions were carried out face-to-face, with a relatively time-consuming process and sometimes less transparent in terms of pricing. Nevertheless, gold remains a popular investment choice because of its relatively stable and liquid nature. Public trust in gold as a safe haven asset is also a driving factor. The Emergence of Online Gold Trading. The development of internet technology and e-commerce has revolutionized the way people transact, including in gold trading. Online platforms offer easy access, higher price transparency because they are directly connected to the global market, and time and cost efficiency. Various platforms, both those that specifically sell gold and general marketplaces, offer a variety of gold product choices, from gold bars to jewelry. This expands access to gold investment for the wider community, without geographical limitations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of e-wallet usage on consumer saving and spending behavior in Takalar Regency. The background of this research is based on the rampant use of digital wallets (e-wallets) that offer transaction convenience but have the potential to encourage consumerist behavior. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 e- wallet users residing in Takalar Regency. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression to test the influence of access convenience, application features, and financial literacy on consumer saving and spending behavior. The research findings indicate that the use of e-wallets has a significant effect on increasing consumer spending, while the effect on saving behavior is moderate and depends on the individual's level of financial literacy. These findings highlight the importance of digital financial education so that the community can utilize it.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and understand the influence of inflation, interest rates and exchange rates on the financial and operational performance of multinational companies. The research method used is a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression. The method used in sampling was purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique of 5 multinational companies. The research results show that inflation, interest rates and exchange rates have a significant influence on the financial and operational performance of multinational companies. Simultaneously, these three macroeconomic factors are proven to significantly influence company performance. The results of the regression test show that the exchange rate has the greatest impact on the company's financial performance, followed by inflation and interest rates. Specifically, inflation shows a negative influence on financial performance by increasing production costs and reducing consumer purchasing power, while interest rates have a positive influence on company financial performance, especially in terms of borrowing costs.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, khususnya pada industri makanan ringan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada UMKM Makaroni Tasik A Yudi, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi dan penjualan makaroni dengan berbagai varian rasa yang khas. Berdiri sejak tahun 2019, usaha ini telah berkembang dari skala rumahan menjadi dua cabang aktif yang beroperasi di wilayah strategis: Pasir Gombong dan Ciantra. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis internal dan eksternal usaha melalui pendekatan SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) sebagai dasar dalam merumuskan strategi pengembangan yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang di gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan utama usaha ini terletak pada cita rasa yang otentik, variasi produk menarik, harga yang terjangkau dan lokasi yang strategis. Namun, masih terdapat kelemahan, seperti sistem manajemen yang belum tertata , promosi digital yang terbatas, serta kapasitas produksi dan pengemasan yang belum maksimal. Peluang besar terbuka melalui tren konsumsi camilan yang meningkat dan dukungan dari pemerintah terhadap UMKM, ssementara ancaman utama datang dari persaingan produk sejenis dan fluktuasi harga bahan baku.

Abstract

This study analyzes the opportunities and challenges of textile trade based on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) between Indonesia and Chinese Taipei, while also examining the export facilitation policies implemented in both countries. The findings reveal that digital export platforms, fiscal incentives, export training, and financial support are key factors in enhancing MSME textile export performance. Indonesia excels in production capacity and domestic market potential, whereas Chinese Taipei is more efficient and policy- driven. However, challenges remain, such as complex export regulations, limited capital access, and international quality standards. Therefore, strategic collaboration and policy reform are essential to improving the global competitiveness of MSME textile products.

Abstract

This research aims to explore in depth the personal experiences of university students who have become victims of online game account trading fraud and how such experiences influence their financial behavior and management. Utilizing a narrative qualitative approach, the study seeks to uncover the subjective meanings behind these digital fraud events through individual storytelling and reflection. The findings reveal that although the fraud initially resulted in emotional and financial distress, it ultimately triggered critical awareness, leading to more cautious, organized, and responsible financial behaviors among the students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of business ethics in stabilizing the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) at Pancong Lumer MSMEs in Muara Bakti Village, Babelan District, North Bekasi. Pancong Lumer MSME, which was founded in 2023, faces the challenge of HPP instability due to the calculation of production costs that have not been optimized and the lack of transparency in business management. The research method uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques to MSME owners and employees, as well as observation of the production process and financial records. Data were analyzed descriptively to see the relationship between the application of business ethics and COGS stability. The results showed that the application of business ethics in the form of honesty in measuring, the use of quality materials, and transparency in the production process can help stabilize COGS. Business actors overcome fluctuations in COGS by managing the purchase of raw material stocks without reducing product quality or committing fraud. This MSME is able to produce 30-40 boxes per day with a selling price of Rp.8,000 for original flavors and Rp.10,000 for topping variations. This research proves that good business ethics can be a strategic solution in maintaining COGS stability and building a sustainable business reputation. Research suggestions include improving the financial recording system, implementing a more systematic COGS management method, and consistency in applying the principles of business ethics to increase the profitability of MSMEs.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hasil Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) di Puro Yama Konveksi, Kota Padang, yang berfokus pada penerapan media sosial dan sistem bisnis digital berbasis AI, yang merupakan langkah strategis yang diambil oleh Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan daya saing di era industri 4.0. Kegiatan Dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan langsung kepada pelaku usaha. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial dapat meningkatkan jangkauan promosi dan hubungan pelanggan, sementara sistem digital dan AI sederhana dapat mempercepat pelayanan dan mengelola data bisnis secara lebih akurat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong pelaku usaha untuk mengubah perspektif mereka tentang betapa pentingnya adopsi teknologi untuk mengembangkan bisnis mereka. Akibatnya, digitalisasi untuk UMKM adalah kebutuhan dan solusi praktis untuk menghadapi dinamika pasar yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

Laporan kerja praktik ini membahas penerapan Customer Relationship Management (CRM) dalam meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan pada UMKM Ayam King Geprek Cabe Hijau di Padang, Indonesia. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) oleh mahasiswa Universitas Putra Indonesia “YPTK” Padang, yang bertujuan menjembatani teori akademik dengan praktik bisnis di lapangan. Fokus kegiatan adalah memberikan strategi CRM untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha dan meningkatkan retensi pelanggan. Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan, tim PKL memperkenalkan konsep CRM serta pemasaran digital melalui platform e-commerce kepada pemilik dan karyawan usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap motivasi karyawan, peningkatan pemahaman dalam menjalin hubungan dengan pelanggan, serta meningkatnya visibilitas dan loyalitas pelanggan terhadap usaha. Program ini turut berkontribusi pada perkembangan UMKM dan menjadi dasar bagi inisiatif bisnis strategis selanjutnya.
