<![CDATA[The People Resistance to Islamic Banking in LangsaThe presence of Islamic Banking in Langsa since 2005 is in line with the aspirations of the Acehnese as an application of Islamic law. In this case the economic and finance tailored to the sharia is to establishe the people to be compete constructively in favor and the successful life such as happiness, glory, and the hereafter (falah). This things is to realized the shariah goal (maqashid sharia) especially in dharuriah five dimensions, such as: religion, life, thought, ancestry, and wealth. The Islamic banks has established in Langsa since 14 years ago, but the people in Langsa not yet fully trust the operational of Islamic banks. They think there is no difference between Islamic banks and conventional banks, beside using sharia label only. The people that become a conventional bank’s customer has a perception that either the Islamic banks or conventional banks still contains a riba.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v6i2.3571]]>

<![CDATA[Effect of Growth Opportunities and Environmental Uncertainties To Profit ManagementThe purpose of this study is to investigate the determinant of firm’s earning management by food and beverage industry in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2010-2015. The impact growth opportunity and environmental uncertainty may induce greater manager’s use discretionary accruals as earning management. Furthermore, this study also examines the effect auditor quality on the relationship between growth opportunity and earning management. Using purposive sampling, the sample of this study consist 8 companies are listed on IDX (48 firms-year). The result indicated that firm’s situation under growth opportunity and environmental uncertainty had an impact on the earning management. <![CDATA[The Influence of Budgetary Participation on Managerial Performance in Stated Owned High School in TegalThis study examined the influence of budgetary participation to managerial performance through budget adequacy, organization commitment, and job relevant information as intervening variables. The population of this study is staff that budgetary participation at Public School in Tegal. The sample of this research is collected with contact person. The result of this study showed that budgetary participation has not effect to managerial performance. Other result that is shown in this study is that budgetary participation has positive effect to budget adequacy, organization commitment, and job relevant information. But, budget adequacy and job relevant information has not effect to managerial performance. Just organization commitment has positive effect to managerial performance. So, Budgetary participation has positive effect to organization commitment, and then organization commitment has positive effect to managerial performance.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v6i2.3575]]>

<![CDATA[The Customer Satisfaction to Islamic Banking Service Quality in YogyakartaThe Objective Of The Present Study Was To Find Out Service Quality's Factors that influences for customer satisfaction, the obtrusive criteria that affect customer satisfaction and analyze the level of customer satisfaction in each Islamic bank in Yogyakarta based adaptation CARTER models. CARTER is model based on SERVQUAL dimensions in addition with new dimension called “Compliance with Islamic law” which is suitable for the Islamic banking industry. Research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 200 customers consisting of four Islamic banking in Yogyakarta. The analysis method used Structural Equation Model (SEM). The conclusions from this study regarding customer satisfaction about service quality in islamic banks has been above the moderate (high enough). The Factors that give big effect for customer's satisfaction in islamic banking are responsiveness, compliance , and empathy. <![CDATA[The Influence of Market Orientation and Knowledge Management to Marketing PerformanceThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of market orientation and knowledge management performance of marketing in District of Ciomas and Dramaga Bogor. Analysis tools used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the analysis was as follows: the value of market orientation variable towards innovation resulted p value which was greater than the lowest average value. The value of knowledge management variable towards competitive advantage resulted p value, which was greater than the lowest average value. The value of innovation variable towards competitive advantage resulted p value, which was smaller than the lowest average value. The value of innovation variable towards marketing performance resulted p value which was greater than the lowest average value. <![CDATA[The Determinant of Customer's Satisfaction to Centro Futsal Branch of Daan MogotThe aim of this research is to analyze the determinat of consumer satisfaction at Futsal Centro. This research is using multiple regression as tools of analysis. The independent variables of this research are service quality, promotion, and location. The result shows that the most influence in providing customer satisfaction is the location amounted to 0.364 and then followed by the variable of service quality amounted to 0.349 and followed by the promotion variable equal to 0.229. Then through the F test showed that the variables of service quality, well-deserved promotions and locations to test the dependent variable customer satisfaction on leasing futsal field. Through correlation R value is 0.811 or 81.1% and the determination coefficient value (R2) is 0.657, or 65.7.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v6i2.3574]]>

<![CDATA[The Phenomenon of Bearish and Bullish in The Indonesian Stock ExchangeBearish and bullish pattern commonly exist in any of stock exchanges all over the world. Hereby, the volatility of price on specific stock and index will generally perform a typical co-movement. This study is officially intended to reveal the existence of bearish and bullish phenomenon in Indonesia stock exchange. The technical tool used in this study was known as candlestick analysis. It is utilized to discover the inclination of price movement and the percentage of bearish and bullish shown by the index. Further, it is noted that the object of this study is Indonesia stock exchange, which is surrogated by IDX Composite (IHSG). <![CDATA[Determinant of Murabahah Financing in Islamic Business Unit: Panel Regression ModelFinancing is one main activity in Islamic banking operations. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the financing in Islamic business unit. This research is using panel regression as a tool of analysis. The sample that used in this object is five Islamic business unit, such as Bank of BTN, Bank of Permata, Bank of CIMB Niaga, Bank of DKI, and Bank of West Kalimantan. <![CDATA[The Determinant that Influence Employee Performance in Bank of BRI Branch of Kramat Jati JakartaThere are a lot of factors that determine the employee performance, included competence, working disciplines, and working environment. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of competence, working disciplines, and working environment on Employee Performances in Bank of BRI, Kramat Jati Branch. The analysis method that used in this research is multiple regression. The result shows that the competence and working environment have a positive impact on employee performance. But, the working discipline don’t has an impact on employee performance. There are several implication of this research, such as: first, the company should recruit the employee with good competency. <![CDATA[The Development Problems Analysis of Islamic Banking in Indonesia: Application Analytic Network Process MethodThis study would try to address the problems that faced by Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia. The results showed that the problems that arise in the development of Islamic banks in Indonesia consists of four important aspects, namely: human, technical, legal/structural aspect, and market/communal aspect. Decomposition of problem as a whole gains the priorities: 1) There is not enough of Islamic banks capital yet; 2) Lack of understanding of Islamic bank practitioners; 3) Lack of government support; 4) the trust and public interest to Islamic banks tend to be low.While the priority of policy strategies that are considered able to resolve the problems of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia consists of: 1) strengthen the capital and business scale and improve the efficiency level; 2) improve the quantity and quality of human resources, and also information systems and technologies; Furthermore, 3) improve the structure of Islamic bank funds and harmonization of regulation and supervision.
