Abstract

Globally, cervical cancer was the fourth most common cancer among women, with low screening coverage contributing to the high number of cases diagnosed at an advanced stage. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing women's compliance with cervical cancer screening through IVA or Pap smear examinations. The research employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 112 respondents, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive frequency tests, chi-square tests, and multiple logistic regression analysis. The results showed a significant relationship between several factors and women's compliance with early cervical cancer detection, including age (p=0.000), occupation (p=0.002), the number of children born (parity) (p=0.000), general health condition (p=0.018), distance to healthcare facilities (p=0.006), level of knowledge (p=0.021), family support (p=0.011), and the role of healthcare workers (p=0.000). However, education (p=0.104) did not show a significant relationship. Based on the multiple logistic regression analysis, the most influential factor affecting women's compliance with early cervical cancer detection was age (p=0.045).

The number of respondents in this study amounted to 85 people with the technique used being total sampling. The data obtained were processed statistically using the sommers'd correlation test. The results of this study show that the majority of respondents at the age of risk are 67.1%, the majority of mothers' education is at the high school/vocational education level as much as 48.2%, the majority of mothers' employment as IRT is 71.8%, the majority of children owned by mothers are 1 child as much as 50.6%, mothers who get the support of supportive husbands as much as 91.8%, mothers who have high spiritual value as many as 95.3%, and mothers who do not experience depression (normal) as many as 38.8%. the results of the test of the relationship between husband support and postpartum maternal depression using the Somers'd test obtained a value of p = 0.003 (p < 0.05) and a value of r = 0.795 (0.60 – 0.799), the results of the test of the relationship of spiritual value to postpartum maternal depression using the Somers'd test obtained a value of p = 0.032 (p < 0.05) and a value of r = 0.827 (0.80 – 1.00), The results of the multivariate test of husband support and spiritual value on maternal depression using a multiple linear regression test on husband support obtained a value of p = 0.007 (p < 0.05) so that it can be concluded that husband support is the dominant factor influencing maternal depression. In conclusion , there is an influence of meaningful relationships with husband support and spiritual values on postpartum maternal depression.

Menopause was a phase of a woman’s life that occurred at the end of the menstrual cycle. In this phase, women needed to prepare physically and psychologically to face menopause. One of the factors that affected this preparation was family support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and women’s readiness to face menopause. This study was a type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. Sampling by purposive sampling technique with a sample of 77 respondents was statistically processed using the Gamma Test. The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between family support and women’s readiness to face menopause with P value < 0.05 and a correlation value of 1.000, which meant that the correlation between the two variables was very strong. There was a relationship between family support and women’s readiness to face menopause, a very strong correlation that meant that women with high support had readiness to face menopause, and women with low support did not have readiness to face menopause.

Knowledge have a crucial role in preventing and controlling dengue fever. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of health education using the buzz group discussion method in increasing community understanding of dengue Methods: Quantitative research with quasi experimental design pre-test and post-test with Non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest. This study was conducted in Sidomulyo Timur with a total sample of 32 respondents chosen based on inclusion criteria using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is Wilcoxon test and Man-Whitney test. Results: There was an increase knowledge in the experimental group by 26.56%, with a good level of knowledge of 81.3% after being given health education by the buzz group method. Statistical tests obtained the results of the p value (0.000) < ? (0.05). Which means there is an increase in knowledge after the intervention. Conclusion: Health education using the buzz group method about dengue fever is effective in increasing community knowledge.

Of the 230 respondents, most were women (53 percent), with an average age of 56-63 years (54.8%), the most recent education was PT/Academic (46.5%), most of the jobs were civil servants (32.2%), had undergone chemotherapy for <1 year (56.1%), the most cancer stage was stage IV (30%) and for the most side effects experienced hair loss/weight loss (42.2%). In this study, self-care management in the adaptive category was (66.5%) and in the maladaptive category (33.5%). This study is a type of Quantitative research with an Observational Analytic research design with a correlational study. Data collection was carried out using the KDQOL-SF and SWBS questionnaires. The number of respondents was 61 people with a total sampling technique. The obtained data were statistically processed using the Chi-square test. The result of this study shows that there is a relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life of hemodialysis patients with a P value = 0.000 (P value < 0.05). This study concludes that there is a significant relationship between spiritual well-being and the quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Improving spiritual well-being can enhance patients' quality of life; therefore, it is important to provide spiritual support in therapy to help patients overcome their health challenges.

Abstract

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a chronic condition that causes impaired heart function in pumping blood, which can reduce oxygen levels in the body. The increasing incidence of CHF in Indonesia requires appropriate treatment to improve patient health status. One of the evidence-based practice (EBP) interventions that can be applied is the provision of a semi-Fowler position to increase oxygen saturation in CHF patients. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing a semi-Fowler position in increasing oxygen saturation in CHF patients undergoing treatment in the inpatient room of Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method on three CHF patients who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and oxygen saturation measurements using an oximeter before and after the semi-Fowler position intervention for three days. The results showed an increase in oxygen saturation after the application of the semi-Fowler position in all respondents. In Mr. M, there was an increase in average oxygen saturation of 6%, in Mr. N by 3.3%, and in Mrs. N by 4.7%.

Abstract

Self-confidence and anxiety are the main factors that affect an athlete's performance during a match. High self-confidence has a positive impact on an athlete's ability to focus, control themselves, and perform optimally, while high anxiety tends to decrease an athlete's concentration, stamina, and performance. Data shows that many athletes in Indonesia experience anxiety before a match, which significantly affects their performance. Therefore, efforts to increase self-confidence and reduce anxiety levels are very important to help athletes perform optimally, achieve achievements, and bring pride to the nation. Quantitative research type with cross sectional approach. The sample used was 17-year-old athletes who participated in the 2024 Bahurekso Cup. The technique used in sampling was total sampling of 109 respondents. The correlation test used in this study was uci chi square. The results of the study using the Chi Square test obtained a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that there is a relationship between self-confidence and anxiety levels in athletes when facing matches. There is a close relationship between self-confidence and anxiety levels in facing athletic matches in Central Java.
