Abstract

This study examines the role of learning satisfaction in mediating the influence of interpersonal communication, self-efficacy, and motivation on work readiness among students of the Faculty of Economics, Bhayangkara University Surabaya. The research addresses the challenge of how higher education institutions can better prepare graduates for the labor market by identifying the psychological and behavioral factors that shape employability. A quantitative research design was applied using a survey method. Data were collected from 210 students through a structured questionnaire, and the analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. The results indicate that interpersonal communication, self-efficacy, and motivation positively influence learning satisfaction and work readiness. However, learning satisfaction does not significantly mediate the relationship between these predictors and work readiness. These findings suggest that while satisfaction with learning contributes to employability outcomes, it is not the sole mechanism through which personal and interpersonal factors affect work readiness. Additional experiential and contextual factors, such as internships, soft skills development, and practical exposure, may play a stronger role. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian higher education context, highlighting the limited mediating role of learning satisfaction. Practically, the findings underscore the importance for universities to enhance not only the quality of learning experiences but also to integrate work-based learning and career development programs to strengthen students' readiness for the workplace.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Bank Jatim using the common size method based on its financial statements for the period 2023-2024. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data derived from audited financial reports. The common size method was applied to both the balance sheet and income statement to evaluate changes in the proportion of assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses relative to their totals. The results indicate that PT. Bank Jatim experienced consistent growth in total assets, primarily driven by the expansion of third-party receivables. On the liabilities side, third-party funds (DPK) also showed a steady increase, reflecting strong public trust and the effectiveness of the bank’s funding strategies. Meanwhile, the income statement analysis revealed that operating revenues, dominated by loan interest income, demonstrated growth; however, operational expenses—particularly administrative and personnel costs—also increased, exerting slight pressure on net income margins. Overall, the findings suggest that PT. Bank Jatim maintained sound financial performance throughout the study period, with healthy asset growth and revenue generation. Nonetheless, the rising trend in operational expenses highlights the importance of improving cost efficiency. This study recommends that PT. Bank Jatim adopt stricter cost control measures, diversify revenue sources beyond loan interest income, strengthen its capital base, and accelerate digital transformation to enhance competitiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of brand experience, brand associations, and brand quality on loyalty intention and repurchase intention among online consumers, with brand trust and brand love serving as mediating variables. A survey was administered to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at five public universities in Northern India. The findings reveal that while brand experience, brand associations, and brand quality do not significantly influence loyalty intention, they exert a positive effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that brand satisfaction influences affective commitment, whereas brand trust affects both affective and continuance commitment. Affective commitment is found to positively influence repurchase intention and loyalty, while continuance commitment does not exhibit a significant effect on these outcomes.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of growth and liquidity on firm value, emphasizing the mediating role of profitability within food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2024. A purposive sampling method was employed to select 11 representative firms as the research sample. The data were processed using the SPSS application, applying both descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical techniques. The findings reveal that: (1) Growth, as represented by asset growth, does not exert a significant influence on firm value. (2) Liquidity, as measured by the current ratio, demonstrates a significant negative impact on firm value. (3) Profitability, proxied by return on assets, effectively mediates the relationship between growth and liquidity on firm value, thereby reinforcing its pivotal role in shaping investor perceptions and firm performance
