Utilization of quality cost report can be used as an assessment tool of management performance in the implementation of quality improvement program. Quality cost report is a form of report that containing the quality costs that incurred in order to the operational of quality improvement program. With the utilization of this quality cost report it is expected to be able to measure the effectiveness of quality improvement program at the company. This research was conducted at the company of sport wear in Surabaya. The method that used is qualitative. The data analysis technique that used is the ratio of the percentage of the quality cost to the total sales so that it can be known the effectiveness of quality improvement program to the increasing of sales volume. The results showed that in 2012, the percentage of the quality cost to the total sales is 2.95%, which indicates a lower level of effectiveness of the standards that set by the company, that is 2.5%. In 2013, the quality improvement program is able to demonstrate that through the quality, sales volume can be increased to reduce the percentage of the quality cost to the sales that is 2.63%. Although not yet reached the standard of improvement that have been set by the company in 2013, the quality improvement program remains implemented in 2014. The effectiveness of quality improvement program is starting showing the good change that is there are the increasing performances of this program by achieving percentage of the quality cost to the sales by 2.44%.

ABSTRAKThe companies that produce donut & coffee with a brand that has been known almost throughout the territory of Indonesia called Mokko Factory Donut & Coffee.some problems are often encountered about raw material inventory in PT.Talenta Packaging Industry, including stock materials in the warehouse do not always meet all well according to the estimate already set. The conclusion of this research is the result of raw material control calculation using Economic Order Quantity at PT. Talenta Packaging Industries in Surabaya in 2015 amounted to 1288.97 kg while in the Year 2016 of 1,507.73 kg. The results of the calculation of raw material control using Safety Stock 2015 amounted to 153.29 kg. While the results of the calculation of raw material control using Safety Stock in the Year 2016 of 111.05 kg. The result of raw material control calculation using Re Order Point in 2015 amounted to 209,41kg. While the year 2016 amounted to 246.78 kg. There are savings on the control of raw materials inventory according to the calculation using the method of controlling raw materials by the method of calculation of PT. Talenta Packaging This industry is shown by total inventory cost in 2015 according to PT. Talenta Packaging Industry amounting to Rp 1,399,338.14 while according to EOQ Rp. 796.420,861. Thus, in 2015 there is a total cost savings of inventory amounting to Rp 466,332,879. While in the year 2016 total inventory cost according to PT. Talenta Packaging Industry amounted to Rp1,489,153.04 while according to EOQ Rp 945.305,093. So there is a total cost savings of inventory amounting to Rp 543,847.947. Economic growth is an eï¬ ort to accelerate the pace of development due to the acceleration of economic growth will be able to push the performance of the sectors there are other more eï¬ cient and productive. High economic growth would create a larger distribution of income and improve public welfare. Investment growth plays an important role in economic growth, because investment is a signiï¬ cant component of expenditure that will aï¬ ect demand and also aï¬ ect employment opportunities. This study aims to determine the eï¬ ect of private investment, public investment on economic growth and employment as well as the livelihoods of the urban districts in East Java province. Variables used in this study is composed of exogenous variables private investment and government investment; endogenous variables, namely the welfare of society; intervening variable of economic growth and man power absorption. The data used are time coherent data covering the period 2003-2008 in 38 districts / municipalities in East Java province.

ABSTRAK Kontribusi UKM untuk pertumbuhan perekonomian membuat kinerja UKM perlu untuk ditingkatkan. Dalam hal ini ada banyak faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam meningkatkan kinerja di UKM-UKM seperti kewirausahaan dan orientasi pasar, sehingga kajian yang telah dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paling penting dari orientasi pasar dan kewirausahaan pada kinerja usaha UKM. Penelitian dikerjakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel diambil dari 50 pelaku UKM yang dibina oleh Dinas Perdagangan Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dalam kajian ini dikerjakan dengan menyebarkan angket kuesioner. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Temuan-temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan dan pasar mempunyai pengaruh signifikan baik itu parsial dan secara simultan pada kinerja usaha pada UKM-UKM. Kata kunci: orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pasar, kinerja usaha Strategi Orientasi Kewirausahaan, Orientasi Pasar dan Pengaruhnya Pada Kinerja Usaha Di Unit Usaha Kecil-Menengah (UKM) ABSTRACT SMEs contribution to economic growth makes the MSMEs performance need to be improved. In this case numerous factors should be considered in improving performance of SMEs such as entrepreneurship and market orientations, so this study was conducted with aim to examine the crucial effect of entrepreneurship and market orientations on the business performance to MSMEs. This research is done by using quantitative approach. The samples taken are 50 SMEs business players built by Department of Commerce Surabaya. Data collection in this study was done by distributing questionnaires. Analysis technique of data is multiple linear regression analysis. Findings of this study indicate that the orientation of entrepreneurship and market has significant effect both partially and simultaneously on business performance on MSMEs. The great existing of human resources should be changed to become useful assets for development. For a variety of expertise, skills and opportunities should be focused on human resources, according to their biological and spiritual abilities. The careful and prudent action must be taken in human resources to become productive and beneficial assets in development. Thus the choices of the companyâ€™s development strategy are directed to the achievement of problem coping in specific areas. Therefore, PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch of Surabaya-Gempol has a special department in charge to develop, train, manage and optimize Human Resources of their employees. Based on description above, then the formulation of the problem is â€œHow far the effect of competency-based training that consists of knowledge, skills, ability to employeesâ€™ work quality of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch of Surabaya-Gempolâ€. Based on formulation of the problem and the hypothesis which stated, then after conducting the analysis and hypothesis testing, the results are obtained: The value of Adjusted R Square is 0.891 which showed that 89.10% of the change in Y value is affected by the three independent variables, while the remaining of 10.90% are affected by other things outside of the three independent variables under this study. Indonesia as an archipelago which has waters area bigger than the mainland. Indonesia seawaters resources is diverse and shall be managed efficiently to improving the Indonesian welfare. The objective of this study to examine the production elasticity of seaweed culvation in Amal Beach, East Tarakan subdistrict. Data required in this analysis is total cost of the production that is labor cost, seed purchase, seed, and many more which categorized as work capital during the production process until the harvest time in specific period. The number of labor usage (person) of each farmer for the production process until harvest time in specific period. Data result of the seaweed production in specific period harvest time. The result show that elasticity of labor and seed concurrently on production also has increasing Return of Scale that is : IRTS = ? + ? = 0,95 + 0,11 = 1,06 means that every seed addition and labor concurrently as high as one unit then the production result increase only around 1.06 unit. The proportion of production result add bigger than production factor add. Value of X1 as 112,131 that means seed cost being incurred be suggested as Rp. 112,131 per m2, while value of X2 as 0,067 that equate labor cost being incurred shall be Rp. 6.700,- per day. So the next calculation result gained maximum production as 74,749 that shall be seaweed production can be increase as Rp. 747,490,- in every one unit production factor addition. And recommended budget is Rp. 7.603.152,- Keywords : production elasticity, Cobb-Douglas production function, seaweed cultivation.

Property has developed into a basic human need that everyone wants to have personally. Property is used for investment other than for basic human needs. The Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2020, resulting in the imposition of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) to stop the spread of the virus. The Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic has also paralyzed a number of industries, including the real estate sector, in an effort to support economic growth. The purpose of this study is to determine the digital marketing of property agents on Instagram. This study uses a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method of the actors in the property business agent. The results showed that digital marketing of property agents on Instagram is used with several efforts including the use of hashtags, collaborating with influencers and public figures, and giving giveaways to attract the interest of potential consumers.

In the current globalization era, global marketing is marketing that accepts complex (geocentric) world market similarities through the integration of domestic, foreign and international marketing activities that can create synergies while maintaining organizational strategic objectives and competitive advantage as the power of global marketing efforts. The existence of increasingly sophisticated information, transportation and communication technology is very supportive of the existence of global markets and closer distances and accelerating long periods of time. The target population in the study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Bhayangkara Surabaya who had made purchases with a minimum of 2 times gofood. in this case the number of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Bhayangkara Surabaya who had made purchases with a minimum of 2x gofood was 1083. So with the Slovin sample formula as many as 100 respondents. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables namely price, promotion, and discount, while the dependent variable was customer satisfaction. To find out the outcome simultaneously and partially used multiple linear regression analysis. The conclusion of this research is that there is a simultaneous and partial influence of prices, promotions and discounts on gofood consumer satisfaction among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bhayangkara University, Surabaya. The dominant variable influencing consumer satisfaction is promotion.

Economic development is one of the benchmarks in national development, the economic sector makes special attention to the government in carrying out national development. The object of research used in this study is a publicly listed commercial bank in Indonesia for the 2017-2019 research period. The population of go public commercial banks in Indonesia is 31 banks, based on criteria using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. While the statistical test using the F test and t test. Conclusion 1. CAR, NPL, and LDR variables together have a significant effect on ROA. 2. The CAR variable has a positive and significant effect on ROA, the NPL variable has a negative but not significant effect on ROA, the LDR variable has a negative and insignificant effect on ROA 3. The number of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) is steadily increasing. HIV/AIDS is caused by a virus that infects the body and weakens the immune system, making it difficult to fight germs, viruses, fungi, and other pathogens. HIV and AIDS are still considered taboo diseases that should not be openly discussed. People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are discouraged from seeking treatment due to stigma and discrimination. Eliminating stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS will improve the process of preventing and overcoming HIV/AIDS cases. In addition, therapeutic communication also affects interpersonal relationships. This research aims to figure out how the therapeutic communication efforts of People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) become survivors. The method used in this research is phenomenology, where the informants in this study are people with HIV/AIDS who live in Surabaya. This study concludes that therapeutic communication efforts to People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) are by presenting volunteers who help people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) based on the same fate as People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). The presence of volunteers (PLWHA) assists and bridges the gap between patients and therapy, fostering a sense of comfort for PLWHA. They also make other patients feel more at ease while they are receiving treatment in the hospital.
