Najah: Journal of Research and Community Services is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Kalam Nusantara Center Research as one of the research institution in Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong . It is at the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved and or its implication. Journal of Research and Community Services encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, and scientific commentaries in education, including Education for Human Resources Development, Community Empowerment, Social Entrepreanurship, and nonformal or informal education. This journal will be published four times in a year (March, June, September and December).

Abstract

This service aims to: (1) Find out how far the balance of knowledge and character education for children in Wangkal village is (2) Cooperate with formal and non-formal educational institutions in the local village (3) Invite parents to pay more attention to behavior children's morals when outside school (4) Providing advice or input to figures and parents as first teachers to take appropriate steps in order to improve the balance of knowledge gained and morals as a practice in life. This research took place in the Krajan hamlet, Wangkal Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency, using the face-to-face method. Starting from the preparation stage, to the implementation stage. And the result is that the difficulty level of the balance between knowledge and practice is a lack of full attention from parents, because character education in schools is not enough to provide learning about ethics and ethics in just a few hours a day. It is parents who should be the first teachers in shaping the personality, mindset, attitude patterns and lifestyle of children. But what happens a lot is that parents hand over their children's moral/moral education to the school at random.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to analyze the role of community service in priority communities and the influence of innovation internalization and external environmental changes on efforts to improve the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). One very important aspect in the development of MSMEs is business legality. The objective of this community service program is to provide assistance to MSME actors in Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet, Wangkal Village, Gading Subdistrict in creating accounts and obtaining business licenses directly at the Public Service Mall and obtaining business legality, in this case in the form of a business identification number (NIB). The community service activity carried out by group 29 of UNZAH's KKN PKM was due to the lack of enthusiasm among micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs in Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet, Wangkal Village, Gading Subdistrict in obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB). NIB is a business identification number used by business actors to obtain business licenses and commercial or operational permits. One of the economic assets that is still underdeveloped in Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet is micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This PKM activity uses the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) Approach, which consists of 6 stages, namely: a) Discovery Stage, b) Dream Stage, c) Design Stage, d) Destiny Stage, e) Define Stage, and f) Reflection Stage in data collection, resulting in the collection of 12 MSMEs in Wangkal Village, Gading District, spread across several hamlets, namely Krajan Hamlet, Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet, and Kramat Hamlet. The result of this community service activity was the issuance of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for two MSME actors in Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet, Wangkal Village, Gading District.

Abstract

(NIB) for two MSME actors in Sumber Cangkelek Hamlet, Wangkal Village, Gading District. Musabaqoh dirosiyyah is a competition event that is held at the Darullughah Wal Karomah Islamic Boarding School every year to welcome the founder's anniversary and haflatul imtihan and in which there are various competitions such as reading books, speeches, Arabic, Arabic poetry, Arabic stories and others. Of the several assets that have been mapped by KKN participants, the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach to community service is used as the development of existing assets at the Darullughah Wal karomah Islamic Boarding School, starting with the inculturation stage (introduction), the second stage is the area search stage. is the effort of KKN participants to find physical assets, the third stage is the asset mapping stage in this stage the activities carried out are in the form of mapping the assets that have been found, the fourth stage is the priority scale selection stage in this stage choosing the most assets or the most prominent, the fifth stage is the stage the aspirational discovery of the KKN participant's task at this stage is to develop the assets that have been previously selected, the sixth stage is the define stage, namely facilitating the implementation of the program to be developed, the last stage is the reflection stage which includes evaluating the results of the assets that have been developed. This service uses interview and observation data collection techniques. This service produces a scheme that accommodates students who have the potential in several fields, one for example in the field of reading the yellow book, thus the purpose of holding musabaqoh dirosiyyah will be well achieved

Abstract

Teaching activities, the process of communication between students and educators is very important in order to understand the lesson. Therefore, educators must be able to deliver material using appropriate, creative, and innovative strategies so that learning takes place effectively. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tajwid learning using the Matching Card strategy at TPQ Qomaruzzaman. The researcher observed a phenomenon occurring at TPQ Qomaruzzaman. The subjects of this study were TPQ Qomaruzzaman students who had reached Iqra 4 and Al-Qur'an levels. The results of this study show that the researcher found tajwid learning using the Matching Card strategy to be very effective because it is easier to understand, easier to memorize, concise, and involves children's activities. The supporting factors for the Matching Card strategy are enthusiasm and good communication between students and educators. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in the Matching strategy is the mixed ages of the students, which affects their comprehension.
