Abstract

Wisma Rumka is a place that operates in the accommodation sector. Wisma Rumka provides accommodation in the form of accommodation for one night or one month. Wisma Rumka consists of 21 rooms dan has a 4-story building. The research carried out aims to increase goal is to reduce synchronization between room scheduling and the reservation process. The theories used in this research are theories about system, reservations, 8 golden rules, and other theories that can support this research. System theory is used as the foundation for creating a reservation system, reservation theory as a variable in the system being created, along with the 8 golden rules as a theory to make the appearance better. The research method used is qualitative research method. The primary data needed in this research was obtained from sctructured interviews with the owner of Wisma Rumka and the result of field research at the accommodation. The secondary data needed in this research was obtained from the author reading books and journals. The website design is depicted with a UML diagram. The resulting website is a website in the form of a simple reservation that can be opened via computer and the display has been adapted to mobile display. This website is used to support room booking activities carried out by Wisma Rumka Inn. This research was carried out the aim of creating a reservation website using PHP, HTML, MySQL so that it does not required any costs. It is hoped that this research can be one of the things that can increase room bookings.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication opens up quite a lot of opportunities in the business world, where one example is making decisions in the form of information quickly, precisely, and accurately. Thus, decision-making becomes an important fulcrum that we want to take a step. TOPSIS is a method based on the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) optimization tool. Where, TOPSIS is designed to solve the problem of choosing a middle way or achieving a solution. Where, TOPSIS reaches a decision based on the calculation of determining the distance for the best solution and the worst solution. (Khan & Maity, 2017) This research was conducted qualitatively, using the Personal Extreme Programming method. The advantage of Personal Extreme Programming, the modules created can be changed quickly. And Personal Extreme Programming does not require many programmers in the team. The results of this study are to provide a method or way to facilitate the entry of progress data that has been carried out by PT. Multi Bahtera Cemerlang. Then make it easier for decisions to be made. With the aim of increasing work efficiency in the company PT. Multi Bahtera Cemerlang. This research will produce a website in the form of web progress and web decision selection using the TOPSIS Algorithm. Then, the work process in the company PT. Multi Bahtera Cemerlang is faster. As well as applications that is made can be used easily.

Abstract

An effective and efficient work attendance system is key to good human resource management. In this context, the use of information technology can facilitate the process of monitoring employee locations in real-time. This research aims to implement a work attendance application system that utilizes maps services to monitor employee locations in real-time through Android devices. The application development method uses an Android-based development approach with the integration of Maps services. Users can log in and register, and then the application will automatically track their location using GPS on Android devices. The location data is then synchronized with the server in real-time.

Abstract

Transaction recording, stock management, and monthly transaction reporting are critical activities that support a company’s operational workflow. At PT. Bintang Permata Semesta, these activities are still conducted manually, leading to difficulties in accessing real-time data, as well as increasing the potential for operational errors. With technological advancements, web-based systems have emerged as effective solutions to streamline these processes. This research focuses on the development of a web-based transaction recording and stock management system using OutSystems, a low-code visual development platform designed for rapid application creation. The system developed includes features such as transaction recording, automatic stock calculations, data searching and filtering, low-stock level notifications, and automatic monthly transaction report generation. Additionally, the website is synchronized with cloud services, enabling access anytime and anywhere via desktop or mobile devices. The research utilizes a qualitative method, gathering primary data through structured interviews, direct observations, and literature reviews. The software development method used is Personal Extreme Programming (PXP). The resulting system aims to assist employees in both the main and branch offices with more efficient transaction recording, real-time stock monitoring, and report generation. This implementation highlights the benefits of using OutSystems to create a dynamic and user-friendly web-based system, ultimately improving operational efficiency within the company.

Abstract

The development of information technology in this era of globalization is very rapid. Especially smartphone. The use of this smartphone can be applied to other applications, for example, a learning application for testing water content with the gravimetric method. Water content testing is one of the important chemical laboratory test methods in the food industry to determine the quality and resistance of food to damage that may occur. The gravimetric method is one of analytical chemistry in chemistry that serves to determine the quantity of a substance and component that is already known by measuring the weight of the component after going through a separation in a pure state. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The system design of this study is described in the form of an interface design, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this system research in the form of a Gravimetric System application that can assist the course of gravimetric testing. The design of this system is also described in the form of a program guide that will explain the functions and features available. This research resulted in an application for water content testing tools with an android-based gravimetric method that can assist in the definition of the material and the simulation of this test.

Abstract

A website must undergo software testing before it is used or published to the pub-lic. There are two general testing methods: white box testing and black box test-ing. In this article, the black box testing method is chosen, which is a testing method focused on the functionality of the application without looking into the internal code structure. Several testing techniques in the black box testing method include equivalence partitioning testing, boundary value analysis testing, compar-ison testing, and others.In this article, the author implements the state transition technique on the e-commerce website Shopee. State Transition testing is a tech-nique or method that focuses on testing the behavior of the system when transi-tioning from one state or mode to another. The goal is to ensure that the transi-tions between these states or modes work according to the specified require-ments.The testing process begins with identifying the states or modes present in the system to be tested. The second step is creating a transition diagram or state transition diagram that depicts the relationship between the occurring modes. The third step is determining the test cases that cover all the occurring transitions, and the final step is analyzing the test results.By using state transition testing, it is possible to test and validate the system's behavior when transitioning between states with comprehensive coverage, ensuring that the Shopee e-commerce website functions properly in various user scenarios.

Abstract

The adaptation of technology in an instantaneous era with all its sophistication makes individuals rely more on technology to help them in doing their daily work. Almost all aspects have been facilitated through the help of the system. However, it cannot be denied that there are still many families who record their monthly expenditure information needs manually, resulting in limited collaboration and effectiveness between members. Limited collaboration in the family can be overcome with a digital reminder system that can be implemented to help family members to remember information related to monthly expenses so that families can see, monitor and control their financial flow. The system can be implemented using React as the main framework and Firebase as a database service that is directly integrated with the data sharing model using the internet as a platform to manage and access data in a single-entry manner. In practice, the researcher applied field research (qualitative method) as the main method to obtain data. The researcher also chose the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) approach as a method as well as a technique for measuring data in this research. The final solution of this research is producing a web-based family recording and reminder application. This application has features to record monthly spending information, schedule monthly and annual bills and record daily spending needs. Through a directly synchronized cloud service, users can access their accounts from any internet-connected device. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the development of this application can assist families in recording and reminding information directly related to monthly expenses in one website container that can be accessed on various devices with only an internet connection.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the spatial distribution of Prima Freshmart (PFM) minimarkets in Jabodetabek from 2013 to 2023 and the factors driving their dispersion. The methods used include: (1) weighted mean center and spatial standard deviation to determine the center and direction of distribution, and (2) geographically weighted regression (GWR) with minimarket distribution as the dependent variable, and population density, distance to toll roads, and distance to city centers as independent variables. Data were processed using Geographic Information System (GIS). The results show that (1) PFM minimarkets were predominantly distributed southward from 2013 to 2023, and (2) higher local R² values were observed in Bekasi Regency, the borders of Bogor Regency, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency, as well as the northern part of Tangerang Regency. The spatial distribution of PFM indicates that store location expansion strategies align with population growth patterns in suburban areas of Jabodetabek.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems has become a strategic solution for businesses to manage operations more efficiently and in an integrated manner. Toko Gemilang 888, a retail business, faces challenges in managing sales data, inventory, and financial reports, which are still handled manually. This study aims to implement a web-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to improve operational efficiency, minimize errors, and accelerate business processes at Toko Gemilang 888. The methods used include system requirements analysis, ERP system model design, and implementation testing to ensure the system operates according to business needs. The design of the ERP system at Toko Gemilang 888 aims to enhance operational efficiency by automating inventory tracking, invoice generation, and report preparation through a web-based architecture. The system includes input processes by users via Client PCs, data processing on the Main ERP Server, and output that is displayed back to the users. To support optimal performance, the system requires hardware with a capable processor, sufficient RAM capacity, and high-speed storage. Meanwhile, the software used includes the latest operating system, a PostgreSQL database, and a Flask-based web server. The implementation of the ERP system at Toko Gemilang 888 has successfully improved operational efficiency by automating administrative processes, reducing transaction recording errors, and optimizing inventory management and sales trend analysis. However, the system still has limitations, such as the absence of a transaction deletion feature, which can be addressed by alternatives such as a transaction cancellation feature, stricter data validation, and an audit trail module to maintain transparency.

Abstract

The Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is a vital element in maintaining the operational continuity of Internet Service Providers (ISPs), especially in Indonesia, which faces complex geographical and infrastructural challenges. In this context, the presence of Starlink, a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite-based internet service provider, presents new opportunities for ISPs to develop more adaptive and resilient BCP strategies in the face of disruptions. This literature study aims to analyze the potential impact of Starlink integration within the BCP framework of Indonesian ISPs, based on a review of various scientific publications, technical reports, and regulatory documents. The study finds that Starlink offers advantages in terms of network recovery speed, coverage of remote areas, and integration flexibility as a backup connectivity solution. However, challenges related to cost, regulations, and cybersecurity must be taken into account in long-term planning. The study recommends a hybrid approach that combines terrestrial infrastructure with satellite connectivity to enhance the effectiveness of BCP for ISPs in Indonesia.
