Abstract

In today's highly competitive business environment, accurate and effective employee performance appraisal is crucial for companies to enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals. However, DF Company, operating in a dynamic sector, faces challenges with its existing performance appraisal system, including a lack of objectivity and a limited link between appraisals and bonus awards. These issues can lead to unfairness, employee dissatisfaction, and reduced motivation. To address these challenges, this research aims to optimize DF Company's Employee Performance Evaluation System for bonus determination. Through in-depth interviews, potential problems were identified, and a structured problem-solving plan was developed. Proposed solutions include incorporating additional assessment elements such as closing rate and attendance, using appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and developing a web-based performance appraisal application. The application was successfully developed, demonstrating accurate appraisal calculations and an intuitive user interface. The research findings highlight the potential of the optimized system in improving fairness, objectivity, and the linkage between performance appraisals and bonus awards. This can lead to increased employee motivation, satisfaction, and overall performance, facilitating talent retention and attraction in a competitive industry. While this study focuses on DF Company, further research is needed to generalize the findings to other organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of zakat funds and macroeconomic variables on economic development in Indonesia and Bangladesh for the 2010-2019 period. This study uses secondary data with a time series data model of zakat funds, macroeconomic variables consisting of taxes, unemployment, economic growth (GDP), poverty, and the human development index (HDI) from both countries. Furthermore, the data were tested using multiple linear regression models and simultaneous model tests, to obtain test results and complex analysis of the effects of exogenous and endogenous variables on the economic development of the two countries, with the help of the EVIEWS application version 9. The results showed that zakat funds had an effect on positive and significant effect on economic growth in both countries, taxes have a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth in both countries, poverty has a positive and insignificant effect in Indonesia, and insignificant negative in Bangladesh. While the results of the influence of the simultaneous model include; there is a simultaneous effect of zakat, unemployment, and poverty on economic growth in Indonesia and Bangladesh. There is no simultaneous effect between the variables of tax, unemployment, and poverty on economic growth, and there is a simultaneous effect between the variables of the human development index (HDI), poverty, and unemployment on economic growth in Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Abstract

TikTok live streaming allows broadcasters to share content in real time and interact with viewers through comments, emoticons, and other features. This research is a qualitative research using phenomenological techniques, where researchers analyze data scattered on the Internet and interviews with sources who have direct experience with TikTok live streaming. This research aims to find out the phenomenon of digital business communication using the TikTok live streaming platform. The results of the study concluded that 1) digital business communication using TikTok live streaming is an effective and efficient marketing medium in explaining product information in real time, which can attract viewers (consumers) to establish communication about the product, so it can influence consumer buying interest to make online purchases; 2) digital business communication using live streaming increases the level of consumer satisfaction with the quality of the products they buy; 3) digital business communication using live streaming can reduce the risk of fraud compared to digital businesses that only rely on photos, comments and videos; 4) live streaming digital business communication has the concept of traditional face-to-face communication, the difference is that if in traditional communication it is done face-to-face, live streaming communication in business is done in real-team and the audience can see the broadcaster's (seller's) gestures of the broadcaster (seller), while the seller only sees the audience (consumer) through comments, emoticons, and other features

Abstract

The development of an area certainly requires funds sourced from the region itself. This becomes a reference so that the region does not only depend on funding coming from the central government. This research uses quantitative research methods, with data collection methods in the form of observation, documentation and questionnaires. The results of the analysis showed that the factors that had a positive and significant effect in this study were capital and labor while the length of business did not significantly influence the increase in MSME income. Thus, the length of effort cannot guarantee an increase in MSME income. In this study, the most dominant influential factor is Capital, Capital is a very important factor in determining the level of MSME income. Pembangunan suatu daerah tentunya memerlukan dana yang bersumber dari daerah itu sendiri hal ini menjadi acuan agar daerah tesebut tidak hanya bergantung pada pendanaan yang datang dari pemerintah pusat Pendapatan dari seseorang merupakan hasil penjualan produksi yang dimilikinya di sektor produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Modal dan Tenaga Kerja sedangkan Lama Usaha tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan UMKM. Dengan demikian maka Lama Usaha tidak dapat menjamin peningkatan pendapatan UMKM. Dalam penelitian ini faktor yang berpengaruh paling dominan yaitu Modal, Modal adalah faktor yang sangat penting dalam menentukan tingkat pendapatan UMKM

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of country of origin, brand image, electronic word of mouth, and celebrity endorser on purchasing decisions for Somethinc skincare products. The sample in this study was 100 respondents who had purchased and used Somehinc skincare products. The data collection method used was a survey with questionnaires as the research instrument. The instrument test results stated that the data in this study was proven to be valid and reliable. In the classical assumption test, it was revealed that the data in this study were normally distributed and produced a regression model that was free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. Hypotheses test using multiple linear regression proves that country of origin and electronic word of mouth have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while brand image and celebrity endorsers do not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Somethinc skincare products. The research results have implications for future research to further explore the variables that play a role in determining purchasing decisions. Practical implications are given to Somehinc product manufacturers and similar companies to formulate strategies that influence consumer purchasing decisions.
