Abstract

Tingkat konsumsi dan distribusi energi listrik harus seimbang dan efisien. Akan tetapi, tidak semua sektor atau bangunan mampu memenuhi tingkat efisiensi yang telah ditentukan. Gedung Sumbawa Techno Park (STP) Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa sebagai konsumen energi listrik tingkat menengah, kiranya perlu dilakukan analisis peluang penghematan energi, guna mengetahui tingkat efisiensi konsumsi energi.

Abstract

Human development cannot be separated from technology, especially electrical energy which functions as the main support in various daily activities. The use of electricity must be balanced with attention to maintenance and installation updates to avoid risks that could harm users. Several important aspects in electrical installations include the selection of materials, the installation process, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards. This research uses qualitative methods, which focus on in-depth analysis of the study object through observation, interviews, and testing of electrical installations in the laboratory. This is different from the method While the quantitative approach involves statistical analysis, the qualitative approach places more emphasis on collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to understand social problems based on natural reality. Hani from research shows that the electrical installation in the Pernek gas station building meets PUIL 2011 standards. This feasibility is determined by several factors such as panel height, contact box, switch, KWH meter, cable color, and the use of MCB as a safety cable in electrical installations are differentiated based on color: R phase is black, S phase is brown, T phase is gray, N cable is blue, and grounding cable is green-yellow. The research conclusions confirm that all installation elements-including cable color, height of contact boxes, switches, panels, KWH meters, and MCB-comply with PUII provisions. 2011 and applicable regulatory standards

Abstract

Electrical installations are essential infrastructure in educational buildings because they ensure the safe and reliable distribution of electrical energy to support teaching and learning activities. Electrical installations that have been used for many years may experience deterioration due to aging, increased electrical loads, and inadequate maintenance, thereby increasing the risk of electrical hazards such as short circuits, electric shocks, equipment failures, and fires. This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of the electrical installation at Leseng State Elementary School based on the General Requirements for Electrical Installations (PUIL) 2011. A descriptive research method with a field observation approach was employed through visual inspection, direct measurement, documentation, and interviews. The assessment covered the condition of Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), switches, socket outlets, lamp holders, conductors, cable joints, and the conformity of the installation with PUIL 2011 standards. The results indicate that several components, including switch height, socket outlet height, and supply voltage, comply with the applicable standards. However, several deficiencies were identified, including damaged MCB covers, improper conductor colour identification, cable joints without appropriate connectors, non-standard cable branching, and damaged lamp holders. Therefore, it can be concluded that the electrical installation at Leseng State Elementary School does not fully comply with the requirements of PUIL 2011 and requires corrective actions to improve its safety, reliability, and operational feasibility.

Abstract

Proses Electrical installations are systems that provide electrical power to meet human needs in everyday life. This involves distributing electric power from the distribution substations of electricity service providers to load points. In the distribution of electrical energy, general requirements for electrical installations are enforced to ensure safety because they ensure human safety and protect property from electrical hazards. Failure to comply with electrical installation regulations and standards can cause the risk of accidents, fires and other serious dangers for building occupants. These problems need to be addressed. carry out feasibility tests on electrical installations that comply with the general requirements for electrical installations in 2011 to ensure safety, reliability and quality of electrical installations. This research aims to determine the feasibility of electrical installations for the Mampis Rungan sports arena building in Sumbawa Regency. This research uses a qualitative method of observation which includes testing, Observations and interviews This research does not involve statistical analysis but focuses more on data collection, analysis and interpretation. Based on the results of inspection and testing data which have been in accordance with PUIL 2011, the Mamp?s Rungan Sports Arena Electrical Installation can be declared unfit. The unfitness factor is caused by The electrical installation system from the panel to the load point does not meet PUIL 2011 standards which include the color of the cables on the panel, and the cables that go to the load point as well as installation safety measures such as the absence of lasdopsĀ
