Journal of ALTRON is an open-access journal published by the Study Program of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Systems Engineering, Sumbawa University of Technology. Altron is published with a frequency of 2 (two) times a year in August and February with varying volumes, e-ISSN 2963-1033. As the National Journal of Electrical Engineering, this journal publishes journals in Indonesian which aims to be a platform for researchers and scientists to publish their research journals which can be in the form of research results, scientific studies, as well as analysis and solving relevant problems and disseminate their knowledge about Electrical Engineering, in the scope of technology, electronics, science, energy systems and related sciences. Novelty and up-to-date scientific issues as well as research originality is the priority of the Altron Journal. All articles submitted must be original research results that have never been published and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. Publication of submitted manuscripts is subject to peer review. Both general and technical aspects of submitted papers are reviewed prior to publication. Manuscripts must follow the style of the journal and be reviewable and editable. The online delivery and publishing system uses the Open Journal System (OJS). Submissions must be made online via the Altron Journal submission site.

Abstract

Potensi energi terbarukan jika dipakai untuk pengembangan sistem pembangkit tenaga listrik untuk mensuplai kebutuhan energi listrik Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa khususya Gedung rektorat hingga 20 tahun ke depan dapat disimulasikan menggunakan Software Homer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi EBT sebagai alternatif suplai kebutuhan listrik di Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan aplikasi HOMER. Pemodelan dan simulasi menggunakan HOMER, diperoleh hasil dan data pemodelan kebutuhan energi yang sesuai untuk mengoperasikan beban listrik di Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Dari pemodelan yang sudah dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi HOMER, maka diketahui bahwa jika besar sensitifitas radiasi matahari yang diterima PV (photo voltaic) adalah sebesar 5,048 kWh/ /hari, dengan menggunakan sebanyak 145 buah unit PV dapat memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik di UTS khususnya pada Gedung Rektorat.Sehinga menghasilkan Net Present Cost (NPC) sebesar Rp 709,730,749.48 dan Cost of Energy (COE) sebesar Rp 1,095.36

Abstract

University Sumbawa Technology (UTS) as Wrong One consumer energy electricity presumably need energy audit _ For save cost usage electricity, wrong one in the building Orange and Building Behind Orange (GBO). To know is consumption electricity Already fulfil level efficient or no, then from That need exists analysis opportunity to save electricity through energy audits. From the results obtained through the methods of measurement, processing, analysis and observation, the energy consumption intensity values (IKE) of the Orange Building and the Orange Rear Building in general are . With the IKE value for air-conditioned rooms, the average value is 7.07660456 kWh/m 2 / month and for non-AC rooms, the average value is 6.860981861 kWh / m 2 / month. Broadly speaking, from the rooms in the Orange Building and the Orange Back Building, it can be concluded that the categories are very efficient to efficient, but several rooms are still categorized as wasteful, namely the GO 2 room with an IKE value of 18.992 kWh/m 2 / month, and canteen room 20.73059361 kWh/m 2 / month. Until it is necessary to carry out savings opportunities. For rooms that are categorized as wasteful, it can be concluded that energy saving opportunities can be carried out by: Reducing power consumption operations, such as power consumption and hours of use.

Abstract

Dalam perkembangan kelistrikan saat ini, terdapat korelasi langsung antara peningkatan permintaan kapasitas energi listrik setiap tahunnya dengan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan kemajuan teknologi yang juga meningkat dengan pesat. Ganggaun sistem distribusi tentu berdampak pada tingkat keandalan sistem sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis indeks keandalan jaringan distribusi khususnya di PLN ULP Samawa Rea menggunakan metode SAIFI dan SAIDI berdasarkan nilai keandalan yang telah ditetapkan SPLN. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif jenis analisa data dengan pendekatan simulasi sekunder yang mana sumber data pada tiga penyulang. Hasil analisis perhitungan manual didapatkan dengan nilai 0,734 SAIFI dan 14,922 SAIDI. Pada penyulang CPM sebesar 0,7418 SAIFI dan 17,688 SAIDI. Pada penyulang Kota sebesar 0,712 SAIFI dan 11,844 SAIDI. Hasil analisis menggunakan simulasi ETAP 19 diperoleh penyulang Nijang sebesar 1,891 SAIFI dan 19,25 SAIDI. penyulang CPM 1,851 SAIFI dan 19,15 SAIDI. Pada penyulang Kota sebesar 1,766 untuk indeks keandalan SAIFI dan 18,9 SAIDI.

Abstract

The security system is a key factor in protecting a person's property from criminal acts, for example theft, the use of the security system for the Sumer Payung Terminal UMKM rombong is one of the implementations of a security system to protect the goods sold and property in the rombong, using a PIR sensor which functions to detecting movement in front of the house, the SW-420 sensor or vibration sensor functions to detect vibrations in the house, and the GSM SIM800L V2 module functions to send an SMS to the house owner that an act of theft has occurred. at the testing stage of this security system, the results were in accordance with what was planned, including the results of testing the PIR sensor 5 times, getting results at a distance of 3cm - 1 m, the PIR sensor could detect movement, while at a distance of 1.5 m - 2 m, the PIR sensor could not. can detect movement, the SW-420 sensor in this test took 3 vibration samples, namely vibration using hands, vibration using wood, and vibration using iron. The results were that the SW-420 sensor could detect vibrations from these 3 samples. The results of the rombong security system test works as desired

Abstract

The Electronics Laboratory of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Sumbawa University of Technology has various kinds of electronic equipment or components which are used as learning materials for practical work, one of which is the Oska type Switching Power Supply which contains various types of basic electronic components which are often used. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of electronic components in the Oska-type Switching Power Supply using the Visual Inspection method which aims to check and determine the physical condition of electronic components that are still suitable for use as well as using a digital multimeter as a tool to test the suitability of the reference values ??for each electronic component as well as determining components whose physical condition is still good or feasible but in testing the component reference values ??do not match. This research succeeded in analyzing electronic components such as resistors which experienced shrinkage of 48%, capacitors of 40%, and Phototransistor sensors on Optocouplers did not work so these components were not suitable for use, while other components such as Diodes, Integrated Circuits, Light Emitting Diodes, Transistors, and High-Frequency Transformers can still be used.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi memiliki peranan penting bagi masyarakat serta lingkungan sekitar, dan dapat menjadi kunci dalam pengembangan pembangkit Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT). Salah satu contohnya seperti pemanfaatan PLTS rooftop yang diaplikasikan pada atap gedung-gedung Kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan pemasangan PLTS rooftop on-grid pada gedung Lab Integrated Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa (UTS) dengan fokus pada potensi energi listrik yang dihasilkan dan aspek biaya. Simulasi perancangan PLTS dilakukan menggunakan software PV Syst, dengan fokus objek penelitian pada area atap Gedung Lab Integrated UTS dengan luasan total sebesar 754 m2. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, diperkirakan bahwa sistem PLTS atap pada kondisi optimal dapat menghasilkan sekitar 168.941 kWh energi listrik per tahun. Nilai kelayakan teknis ditinjau dari performance ratio (PR) yang didapatkan sebesar 77,38%. Sedangkan untuk hasil analisis ekonomi menunjukkan nilai cost of energy (COE) sebesar Rp 705.854/kWh, net present value (NPV) menghasilkan nilai positif sebesar Rp Rp 907.811.227 nilai Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 6,20%, Return on Investment (ROI) sebesar 65,6%, dengan pengembalian modal awal atau niali payback periode (PP) diperkirakan akan kembali dalam kurun waktu 9,3 tahun, Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa investasi untuk proyek sistem PLTS atap on grid pada gedung Lab intergrated layak untuk direalisasikan.

Abstract

Electric power is a type of energy used to operate electrical equipment. This energy is stored in electric currents in units of amperes (A) and voltages in units of volts (V). The use of electrical energy is used for various purposes such as driving motors, lighting lamps, heating or cooling equipment, and driving other mechanical equipment. Electrical energy is used in various sectors, including households, offices, industry, rail transportation, street lighting, and various other activities such as cooking and heating. The purpose of this study is to determine the consumption of electrical energy in the Light Vehicle Engineering building at SMKN 2 Sumbawa Besar and to be able to recommend solutions so that the use of electrical energy can be more cost-effective. The method used in this study is a mixed method (Mixed Method Research), which combines elements of qualitative and quantitative methods. The process of observing and conserving energy involves steps such as an energy audit. The results of this study were that the value of energy consumption intensity (IKE) in the light vehicle engineering building in the previous year was 13.66 kWh/m2/year, while the IKE value for the room was 10.14 kWh/m2/month.

Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan kubutuhan yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Energi listrik tak terbarukan suatu saat pasti akan habis, maka dari itu penting bagi kita untuk melakukan penghematan energi listrik. Konservasi energi merupakan salah satu upaya dalam penggunaan energi listrik yang efisien, bijak dan optimal. Efisiensi energi listrik sendiri dapat dilakukan dengan cara audit energi. Audit energi adalah teknik yang digunakan untuk menghitung besarnya konsumsi energi pada suatu bangunan. audit energi dilakukan agar bisa mengetahui berapa banyak penggunaan energi listrik dan kita bisa meminimalisir energi listrik yang akan digunakan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti akan melakukan penelitian pada gedung Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TITL) SMKN 2 Sumbawa Besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui nilai Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) dan tingkat pencahayaan (Lux) pada gedung tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitatif (mixed). Yaitu dengan melakukan observasi lapangan, menghitung nilai kWh, nilai IKE dan mengukur tingkat pencahayaan (Lux) pada gedung tersebut. Dari hasi perhitungan nilai IKE pada gedung TITL didapatkan hasil dengan nilai 7.51 kWh//bulan, maka gedung TITL SMKN 2 Sumbawa Besar termasuk kategori sangat efisien. Dari hasil pengukuran menggunakan lux meter, peneliti mendapatkan hasil tingkat pencahayaan pada ruang kelas TITL 1 dan TITL 2 termasuk kategori tidak efisien.

Abstract

Renewable energy is an energy source that can be obtained continuously from nature such as the sun, wind, water, geothermal, and biomass. According to the Directorate General of EBTKE in 2018, the total potential of renewable energy in Indonesia is 442 GW while the newly utilized is only 8.8 GW, therefore, there needs to be action to analyze the opportunity to add energy through calculations with Homer 3.16 software to see whether the Renewable Energy Power System can be applied. The purpose of this study is to find out how big the potential of wind and solar energy for the feasibility of building PLTH at Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS). The research method used is quantitative by collecting data in the form of solar irradiation, data on the load of electricity use around the UTS campus area and wind speed. Then the analysis method uses the HOMER software application. The results of HOMER 3.16 modeling, obtained that the modeling of the PLTH system in the UTS area at the condition of the average wind speed on the turbine of 3.13 m / s, solar irradiation received by solar panels of 5.59 kWh / m ^ 2 / day, then obtained a total production of 62.042 kWh of electrical energy per year with a total "Renewable Penetration" of 97.9%.

Abstract

From 2019 to 2020 there has been a decrease in fish catches. This is due to several causative factors, one of which is decay. Previously, some fishermen had to prepare many things to overcome decay even with preservation methods, most of which still use conventional methods in the form of using ice cubes. However, such methods are still lacking in terms of maintaining the quality of fish. Some have switched to using Cold Storage machines, but not all fishermen can afford to have them. So this is what made researchers conduct this study entitled "Design a Solar Panel-Based Fish Cooling Box Using Paltier Cooling Elements for Coastal Fishing Boats". The purpose of this research is to design and build a solar-powered cooling device as an energy source and help in a better preservation process at the desired temperature by relying on Paltier cooling elements. The research method used in this study is quantitative experiments for The results obtained from testing in this study were carried out 4 different test methods, but still reached the desired final temperature point of 5°C to 0°C and below.
