Abstract

The potential for the Halal Industry is enormous, both for foreign and domestic needs in Indonesia. The need for commodities with halal guarantees for Muslim countries, even in non-Muslim majority countries, continues to increase from year to year, in the form of foodstuffs, medicines and cosmetics. From 2017 to 2018 it grew to 5.1%, reaching 1.37 trillion dollars in 2018. However, Indonesia is still a consumer and not a producer. Various challenges in the halal industry and supply chain as well as challenges in the Islamic economy as a support for the halal industry become an analysis of the causes of Industrial Engineering Science with its various scientific tools can be the answer to some problems. This research will explain about the Halal Industry and Supply Chain from the scientific aspects of Industrial Engineering which includes facts and data on the halal sector, regulations and sharia economics as a support for the halal industry, the halal food sector, halal operations, halal logistics (supply chain). ) and the potential of the halal industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study used mahkota dewa as adsorben to decrease of the peroxide number and free fatty acids on the used cooking oil with immersion variations for 2 days dan 3 days and also concentration variations of mahkota dewa 5 % w/v, 10 % w/v, and 20 % w/v. The results of the peroxide analysis test still exceed the required number of SNI namely 10 meq O2/kg and the results of the free fatty acid analysis test in the sample with immersion and stirring time for 2 days and 3 days the concentration of mahkota dewa 20 % w/v has met the SNI, which is 1.04 % and 0.91%.

Abstract

Finance has a very important role in supporting the sustainability of a university's activities. In the current condition at the University of Bandung Raya, the number of students has decreased which will affect their income level. What is done by the university is to find as many students as possible in each available study program. Based on the results of the study, it shows that this results in a higher level of financial expenditure than income due to the small number of students who are spread across 4 existing study programs. Based on the results of the calculation, it is found that if the university will benefit based on the existing conditions, namely by only focusing on 1 undergraduate study program with a total of 150 students.

Abstract

Mount Agung with an altitude of 3.142 meters above sea level is located in Karangasem. This mountain is one of the active volcanoes in Indonesia. Some dangerous impacts caused by the eruption of Mount Agung are acid rain, earthquakes, lava/lava flow, landslides/mudflow, smoke from lava, pyroclastic, rain of volcanic ash, and rocks and also volcanic gas. One of them which is Rain of volcanic ash can cause blisters on the skin and eyes as well as respiratory irritation. For long-term effects can cause silicosis (lung disease resulting from dust) and chronic lung disease. This study was conducted to determine the Mount Agung volcanic ash eruption effect on the results of SPM concentration measurements at the Jembrana Climatology Station using comparative data and sample data obtained from SPM, VONA concentration measurement data, and the HYSPLIT Volcanic Ash (NOAA) models.

Abstract

One of the problems that related to quality and often occurs in the sewing process at CV Batara Apparel is that there are frequent thread break problems. Termination problems that occur are caused by an error during the thread installation process that does not pass through the needle bar hole and the thread is directly passed through the needle. This results in defects in stitches such as broken stitches. In order to solve the thread break problem caused by an error during the thread installation process that does not pass through the needle bar hole, it can be overcome by implementing SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) on proper and correct machine usage procedures, briefing supervisors with the production manager so that the problems occurs when production takes place can be handled properly. In addition, the implementation of regular maintenance schedules can also solve the thread break problems that occur. Keywords: thread break, loose stitches, quality control, SOP

Abstract

The process of applying starch to the warp yarn in order to increase the weaving power of the warp yarn in the presence of a starch layer, is expected to increase the strength of the yarn and reduce the yarn hairs. One of the factors that influence the sizing process is the amount of pressure in the squeezing roll. In this process, the sizing machine uses a double size box and each size box has 2 (two) squeezing rolls. The material used is Combed Ne 40 yarn with construction ,which is the amount of tetal or the density of the yarn with the construction included in the tetal of the dense warp yarn. The method used by comparing the pressure of squeezing roll process 1 and process 2. In the first process, the squeezing roll 1 is set at 3 kN and squeezing roll 2 is 3.5 kN, while in the second sizing process, the squeezing roll 1 is set at 4 kN and squeezing roll 2 for 5kN. After the experimental process was carried out, the starch warp yarn strength was obtained which was higher, namely 351.93gr and compared to process 2 which was 345.84 gr. The higher from the strength of the starchy yarn, can make it better for weaving process.

Abstract

The growth of technology allows people today to easily book hotel rooms according to their own needs and desires, this is possible thanks to the Virtual Hotel Operator (VHO) application in Indonesia. Seeing this situation, we need a model that is able to measure the extent to which the level of acceptance of the VHO mobile application. It is necessary to know the factors that indirectly influence acceptance in the use of VHO applications by combining the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which is used as the basic model which is the aim of this study. The quantitative approach was used in this study, while the data collection technique was using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses linear regression. This research concludes that the compatibility and trust variables have an indirect effect on the intention to use the VHO mobile application. Keywords: TAM, Compatibility, Trust, VHO

Abstract

PT. Daya is one of the actors in the automotive and service sector that can maintain the quality of service to customer satisfaction where the business competition faced by companies increasingly requires company management to be more careful in determining marketing strategies in order to win increasingly competitive competition. At this time products in the form of services have become a fairly dominant part of its influence in the economy, in addition to physical queuing products where business competition faced by companies increasingly demands management to be more careful in determining strategies in order to win increasingly competitive competition. From the purpose of this study to find out or find the value of the results of the actual performance GAP attribute with customer expectations, so that it will be known how much the level of service satisfaction has been provided to customers and provide alternative solutions for improvement. The method used is the Service Quality and Kano methods. The results obtained in this study are Kano for the Indiffrent category, the highest score is from the respondent's results, and the lowest value is on reverse and one dimensional. Then in Service Quality (Servqual) there is the highest value on the value of the inadequate capacity of the workshop area, GAP 0.43 and Mechanics are not responsive to consumer willingness, the smallest value is GAP 0.00 for the Service Quality (Servqual) category.

Abstract

Permanent press by using resin will increase the resistance of the desired material properties. The refinement process to obtain permanent fold properties in polyester fibers is obtained by forming a polymer resin layer on the surface of the fabric. The more resin used, the less the ability of the fabric to come back from the crease, so the permanent crease finish will be more permanent. However, with more and more resin polymerizing on the surface, the fabric will be stiffer and can reduce the tensile strength of the fiber, the occurrence of the resin polymerization process is influenced by the temperature of the preserved heating when the temperature is less then the resin is not formed perfectly or if the temperature is too high it can cause damage to the fiber. This test was carried out on 100% polyester fabric with variations in the concentration of melamine formaldehyde resin 40 g/l, 50 g/l, 60 g/l, 70 g/l and variations in the curing temperature of 1600C, 1700C, 1800C, 1900C. Tests carried out include re-testing of the folds and tensile strength of the fabric. The results showed that the optimum conditions achieved in this experiment were at a concentration of melamine formaldehyde resin of 60 g/l with a preserved heating temperature of 1700C, a low folding angle value of 740 was obtained with a tensile strength value that above the minimal standards, namely the warp 75.7 Kg and weft 22.7 Kg.
