Abstract

This research aims to design an ontology model representing knowledge concerning Balinese masks, particularly focusing on their functions and uses. The methodology employed encompasses stages including specification, knowledge acquisition, conceptualization, integration, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Implementation utilized Protégé software, resulting in 7 classes, 8 object properties, 5 data properties, and 26 instances related to Balinese Masks. Testing involved SPARQL queries to retrieve information on Balinese masks based on criteria such as function, motif, name, region, and artist. Test results demonstrate the efficacy of the ontology model in addressing relevant inquiries. This study seeks to offer information and digital documentation on Balinese masks, particularly regarding their function and use, thereby contributing to the preservation of this cultural heritage. Abstract

Financial management is essential for personal financial well-being, yet financial literacy remains low in Indonesia. To improve usability, this study analyzes microinteractions in existing financial management applications by using System Usability Scale (SUS) methode. Through literature review, observation, and online surveys, microinteraction effectiveness is assessed, revealing areas for improvement. Results indicate a SUS score of 40, suggesting poor usability. Thus, redesigning the application is recommended to enhance usability and user experience, fostering better financial management practices. Abstract

Labuan Bajo is one of the popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. With the significant growth in the number of tourists, the need for homestays or local accommodation is increasing. However, tourists often have difficulty finding a homestay that suits their preferences, both in terms of price, facilities or location. This research aims to develop an Android-based homestay application that can help tourists find a homestay that suits their preferences. This application was developed using prototyping and modeling methods. The research results show that an Android-based homestay application can help tourists find a homestay that suits their preferences. This application has features such as searching for the nearest homestay, rating filters, prices and desired facilities. This application can be a solution for tourists who want to find a homestay that suits their needs. This application can also help homestay managers to promote their homestays to tourists. Abstract

Mental health issues, such as depression, have significant impacts on individuals and society. Early identification and detection of these conditions are crucial steps in providing appropriate interventions and supporting better recovery. With the increasing use of social media, many people have started sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences online. Social media provides an abundant platform for users to express themselves and interact with others. Posts on social media often reflect individuals' emotional states. Therefore, analyzing the content of these posts can provide valuable insights for monitoring and early detection of depressive symptoms. Machine learning has been widely used for automated text mining and classification tasks. A classification method that can be used to classify social media posts into depression and normal classes is the support vector machine. Based on the testing results of the Support Vector Machine algorithm in classifying posts on social media, the highest accuracy value obtained was 95.5% using a parameter value of C equal to 0.25. Abstract

In this research, we will discuss the use of the Random Forest algorithm in classifying wine quality using Min-Max normalization. The data obtained will be subjected to data preprocessing and data normalization using Min-Max Normalization which is then applied to the Random Forest algorithm. This algorithm was chosen because it can provide good accuracy for the classification process. Data normalization and preprocessing are needed to produce a classification model with better accuracy. Abstract

This study aims to implement the YOLOv8 algorithm in detecting images of durian and mangosteen fruits. The research methodology includes literature review, image collection, data processing, YOLOv8 algorithm implementation, model evaluation on validation data, and drawing conclusions. Image collection is done through online sources, and data is processed through annotation, pre-processing, and augmentation using the Roboflow platform before exporting to YOLOv8 format. The algorithm implementation is carried out in Google Colab with model training, object detection, and evaluation stages on validation data. Evaluation results include accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score values, with model performance evaluated using mean average precision (mAP) metric. The results indicate that the model can recognize objects well, with a mAP above 0.27%. This study successfully implements YOLOv8 for durian and mangosteen fruit detection with satisfactory evaluation results. Keywords: You Only Look Once (YOLO), Google Colab, Roboflow

Abstract

Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. Therefore, many local and international tourists visit Bali for holidays. Searching for the shortest route is needed for tourists who want to take a walk around the island of Bali. By getting the shortest route between the initial location and the destination location, the efficiency level of time needed to travel between the two locations will be better. Searching for the shortest route can be done by applying a genetic algorithm.Genetic algorithm is a method or technique of optimization and search based on the mechanism of natural genetic principles and natural selection. Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of securing academic transcripts for students by utilizing a combination of Rijndael encryption algorithm and Secure Hashing Algorithm-3 (SHA-3). The primary purpose is to enhance the protection and integrity of academic records against unauthorized access and tampering. SHA-3 is selected for its advanced cryptographic capabilities, surpassing its predecessors in security and efficiency. When combined with the Rijndael algorithm, which serves as the foundation for the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), the system achieves robust encryption and data integrity verification. Through comprehensive design, implementation, and testing phases, the study demonstrates that the proposed method is effective in safeguarding academic transcripts. The results indicate that the system not only ensures data security but also operates efficiently. Abstract

Plagiarism in the music industry is a serious issue that requires advanced solutions. This research proposes a Machine Learning-based system for detecting song plagiarism by combining Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Dynamic Time Warping (DTW). CNN is used to extract features from the visual representation of music notations, while DTW measures the temporal distance between two sequences of notations. Experimental results show that this system provides a more accurate solution with an accuracy of 92.71%, with a dataset of 4800 data points. Abstract

The advancement of digital communication and the need for secure information exchange have led to the development of various techniques for data hiding and steganography. One of the widely used methods is the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique, which allows the embedding of secret messages within digital images without perceptible visual changes. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a message embedding system based on LSB method, integrated into a web-based platform. The proposed system provides a user-friendly interface for selecting an image and entering a secret message to be embedded. Utilizing HTML5 canvas and JavaScript, the system processes the selected image, extracts the LSB of each pixel, and replaces it with the corresponding bits of the secret message. The resulting image with the hidden message is then displayed to the user. Furthermore, the system offers the capability to extract the hidden message from an image previously processed by the system. The web-based nature of the system allows for easy accessibility and usage across different devices without the need for additional software installations. It provides a practical and interactive environment for users to experiment with message embedding techniques, thereby fostering understanding and awareness of data security issues. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system in embedding and extracting messages from various images while maintaining satisfactory visual quality. The system's user-friendly interface, combined with its robust functionality, makes it a valuable tool for users interested in secure communication and digital steganography.
