Abstract

This research aims to compare the forward chaining algorithm with the Backward Chaining, Breadth-First Search (BFS), and Depth-First Search (DFS) algorithms in the context of an expert system for recommending specialization in the field of technology. The primary focus of this study is to analyze the runtime performance of each algorithm and determine the algorithm that provides the fastest runtime.The research methodology involves implementing the four algorithms in an expert system that provides recommendations for technology field specialization based on rules and user responses. The data used in the study consists of specialization rules in the technology field and user responses related to their interests in those fields.The results of the study demonstrate that the forward chaining algorithm outperforms the Backward Chaining, BFS, and DFS algorithms in terms of runtime performance. This indicates that the forward chaining algorithm is more efficient in generating technology field specialization recommendations.Based on the findings of this research, it is recommended to use the forward chaining algorithm in the development of expert systems for technology field specialization. This algorithm can assist users in obtaining recommendations quickly and efficiently, thereby enhancing user experience and the effectiveness of the expert system in providing suitable technology field specializations based on user interests. Abstract

Emotion Detection in Dogs through Image Classification for Pet Facial Expression Analysis utilizes convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to discern and quantify dogs' emotional states based on their facial expressions. This approach leverages advanced image processing techniques to recognize subtle cues indicative of various emotions like happiness, fear, or sadness in dogs. By applying CNNs to analyze image data, pet owners can gain valuable insights into their dogs' emotional well-being and address their needs accordingly. This technology offers a promising avenue for enhancing the bond between pets and owners by facilitating more informed and empathetic care tailored to each dog's emotional state and personality. Abstract

This research develops a steganographic watermarking technique using the DCT method to protect the Endek fabric motifs. In DCT-based steganography method for watermark embedding in images, DCT transformation is used to separate the image into DCT coefficients that represent frequency information. The embedded watermark serves as an identification mark that is difficult to remove or modify without damaging the authenticity of the original motif. Accuracy testing using PSNR and MSE yielded average PSNR (54.367dB) and MSE (0.234), indicating that this technique is effective in preserving the authenticity and integrity of the Endek fabric motifs.

Abstract

During the last 36 years, the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children has received more than 5 million calls about cases of missing children. In 2019 alone, the NCMEC assisted law enforcement and families with more than 29,000 cases of missing children. In Asia itself, it is estimated that there are around 20,000 to 200,000 missing children. More precisely in China and Southeast Asia. To help reduce the rate of loss of children in Indonesia, the authors created a design solution using the prototyping and UML methods. By using this prototype, users will be able to track the child's location and provide assistance in the form of a help button if something happens to the child. With this solution, it is hoped that it can help children who are in an emergency and parents who have lost their children so as to suppress the growth of cases of missing children. Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world with more than 17,000 islands inhabited by approximately 255 million people, a figure that makes Indonesia the fourth most populous country in the world. This implies that there is a lot of cultural diversity in Indonesia, one of which is traditional dance. Traditional dances in various regions in Indonesia are certainly different and have their own characteristics, so they need to be well documented. The ontology knowledge base is an appropriate method used to represent information. In this project, the ontology model was built using the Protégé ontology development tool. We use the method of methontology in the development of the ontology model where this method describes each step-in detail. The ontology model built has 11 classes, 5 object properties, 8 data properties, and 72 individuals. We focus on describing the types of traditional dances from various regions in Indonesia. Abstract

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver which is often caused by a virus. Hepatitis that lasts less than 6 months is called "acute hepatitis", hepatitis that lasts more than 6 months is called "chronic hepatitis" Hepatitis consists of various types starting from hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. This study will discuss the classification Hepatitis C is classified as blood based (blood donor), suspected blood donor, fibrosis (moderate to severe hepatitis) and cirrhosis (chronic hepatitis). Classification uses the Support Vector Machines (SVM) algorithm with Confusional Matrix testing. The dataset used was obtained from the kaggle.com site with a total of 590 data consisting of 14 features or attributes. This study produces an accuracy of 93%. Abstract

Currently, many people keep animals in their homes. Most of the animals they have are dogs and cats. Thus, they need a lot of information about the animals they keep. Therefore, to make it easier for people to find information about Anabul, an information website about Anabul was created, starting from the types of Anabul, its characteristics, what Anabul needs, and others. This journal produces a website based on the SahabatAnabul application. SahabatAnabul is a website to share all information about anabul, especially for dogs and cats. The resulting website can help people who have pets or want to know information about the types of dogs and cat breeds that exist in the world. Abstract

The bitter melon plant (Momordica charantia L) is a vegetable commodity that has commercial potential if cultivated on an agribusiness scale. The bitter melon plant products currently have quite a lot of consumers and have even entered supermarkets. However, the selection of bitter melon vegetables still uses human eye assessment which has the weakness of being subjective and inconsistent, so the level of accuracy is low. Based on these problems, researchers will create a system that is able to classify the level of maturity of bitter melon vegetables using HSV feature extraction with the KNN method at the classification stage and with the help of the Python programming language. In this research, 160 datasets will be used which are divided into 3 types of classes, namelcategy cooked bitter melon vegetables and raw bitter melon vegetables. The dataset is divided into two ories, namely 128 training data and 32 test data. The next stage is testing the data using the K-Nearest Neighbor method using the value k=3. Abstract

Padmasana and Pelinggih are sacred structures that hold significant importance in the religious and cultural practices of the Balinese Hindu community. Padmasana refers to the elevated throne or shrine dedicated to the highest deity in Hinduism, while Pelinggih represents small sanctuaries or shrines found in various locations. Padmasana, often located in the innermost sanctum of temples or in open spaces, symbolizes the presence of the Supreme God in Hindu belief. It is characterized by an elevated platform adorned with intricate carvings and decorations, usually in the form of a lotus or a throne-like structure. Padmasana serves as a focal point for prayers, offerings, and rituals, where devotees seek spiritual connection and guidance from the divine. Through the ontological modeling of Padmasana and Pelinggih, this research contributes to the preservation and dissemination of the cultural heritage of the Balinese Hindu community. The ontological model serves as a knowledge repository, capturing the intricate details and interrelationships of these sacred structures, fostering a deeper understanding of their spiritual significance. Ultimately, this research promotes cross-cultural understanding and encourages the preservation and appreciation of Balinese Hindu traditions. Abstract

Accurate sales to improve business planning and decision making. This study aims to design an information system that utilizes historical data and multiple linear regression algorithms to predict e-commerce sales. This study addresses the current challenges in forecasting uncertain sales by analyzing historical sales data and identifying relevant independent variables, such as marketing efforts, economic factors, and customer behavior. Through the implementation of a multiple linear regression algorithm, the system calculates the relationship between these variables and sales, enabling accurate predictions. The proposed information system provides valuable insights for businesses to optimize inventory management, marketing strategy and resource allocation. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the system in forecasting e-commerce sales, resulting in increased operational efficiency and revenue. This research contributes to the field of e-commerce analytics and assists businesses in making data-driven decisions for sustainable growth.
