Jurnal Teknik Transportasi (Journal of Transportation Engineering) is a scientific periodical publication of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics Engineering, Trisakti Institute of Transportation and Logistics (Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti). JTT focuses on the field of transportation engineering related to aerospace engineering with airport characteristics, marine engineering with port characteristics and environmental infrastructure engineering with railway characteristics. JTT was published for the first time for Volume 1 No. 1 in April 2020, then the second issue of Vol 2 No. 2 in October 2020. But then it stopped publishing for 2 years and is now being published again with a new design and a new strategy and journal publishing policy while still using EISSN 2722-9599. This new issue begins in May 2023 as Vol 2 No. 1 and will be published next.

Abstract

The capital city of DKI Jakarta is a densely populated area and the main factor for traffic jams. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is developing Light Rail Transit (LRT)-based transportation to reduce congestion at certain points. Railways are a construction unit made of steel, concrete or other constructions that are located on the surface that directs the railroad. Economically, the construction and maintenance of road construction rails can be carried out efficiently and still guarantee safety and comfort. The rail system is divided into upper and lower structures, the superstructure must include: geometry, free space, axle load and frequency, the geometric requirements that must be met are: Curve, Gauge, Cannot. In order to support the safe operation of the train, it is necessary to maintain bends every 3 months (preventive) so that the condition of the railroad tracks when the train passes does not falter or fall. Improvement of the rail geometry at bends is carried out by measuring the 3 point versine method which aims to restore the condition of the rail according to the conditions or design, calculated through the transition curve, full curve, until the end of the curve.

Abstract

Progress mass transportation that can transport goods in large quantities with a total of 30 wagons is now expanding wings in transportation of hazardous & toxic waste (B3) commodities through the breakthrough of PT Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, and PT Kereta Api Logistik with the relation of transporting B3 waste from Kalimas station to Nambo Station. This research aims find out how increase efficiency using flat wagon in B3 Waste transportation & produce an improvement plan that must be done to make use of cars on the B3 Waste train series more efficient. This research method applies a combined approach, which integrates quantitative and qualitative methods order to obtain more comprehensive, valid & reliable data. Data testing in this study was carried out validity test & reliability test with SPSS software, there was also analysis dwelling time & carriage circulation time analysis. Based on analysis can be concluded waiting time for unloading will not be needed so that the loading & unloading time can be reduced to just 1 day if TC Nambo has special heavy equipment for unloading B3 waste, has own heavy equipment operators, expands container yard, increases fleet follow-up trucks to final destination.

Abstract

The railway system in Indonesia is currently developing rapidly, as well as railway technology in Indonesia, especially DKI Jakarta, one of which is the Jakarta LRT. CCD (Current Collector Device) which is a device for taking the power supply or distributing electricity from a third rail source. The way the CCD (Current Collector Device) works is that it attaches to the third rail through a shoe that rubs directly against the third rail. Continuous friction causes wear and tear on these components. The current minimum thickness standard for CCD (Current Collector Device) is 20 millimeters. While the thickness of the new condition is 28 millimeters. During the monthly maintenance, it was found that the wear rate was an average of 0.1 millimeters – 0.2 millimeters. This is less significant in carrying out monthly maintenance on the CCD (Current Collector Device). The aim of this research is to analyze the wear rate of the CCD (Current Collector Device) for 1 year and determine the maintenance interval time based on the wear rate.

Abstract

The apron capacity of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is an important factor in handling the increasing number of aircraft movements. This research utilizes the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) method to evaluate the apron capacity and determine the need for apron expansion. Operational data of the airport, including the number and types of aircraft operating on the apron, as well as other related activities, were collected and analyzed. Subsequently, using the FAA method, the Gate Hourly Base Capacity (G*) value was calculated based on the appropriate ratio (R) for the existing apron conditions. The evaluation results indicate that the current apron capacity is sufficient to accommodate the current number of aircraft movements. Based on the FAA calculations, the Gate Hourly Base Capacity (G*) value for the relevant ratio shows that the apron can handle the current number of operating aircraft without significant physical expansion. This research provides a better understanding of the apron capacity of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and contributes to the development of effective apron management strategies. By ensuring adequate apron capacity, the airport can meet the needs of aviation service users and promote the growth of the aviation industry in the region. Abstract

Indonesian coal distribution relies on sea transportation, specifically bulk carrier ships and barges. The mode's operation is based on the ship owner's charter system. To strengthen the control of Indonesia's coal distribution and supply chain, an operational of the implementation of ship charter contracts with the Dispatch and Demurrage System (Desdem) is required. The goal of this research is to examine the operational impact of implementing contracts with the Desdem System, in order to determine the impact on coal supply and supply chain management. Ship service duration is calculated using linear programming optimization, extreme environmental circumstances are simulated, and sensitivity analysis is performed. The findings show that the availability of cargo, tools, mooring, and transhipment has an impact on demurrage, which accounts for 39-42% of laytime. Meanwhile, in the tidal scenario, rain and waves, known as demurrage, account for 125-132% of the laytime. A productivity increase of 250 tons/hour reduces demurrage by up to 41%, while a service speed increase of 1 knot reduces demurrage by up to 28%.
