Abstract

Economic growth is a crucial indicator for assessing a country's development success. Although Indonesia recorded the highest investment value, there is a disparity with Vietnam, which emerged as the country with the highest economic growth in 2022 among ASEAN nations. This phenomenon highlights the need for further research into the effectiveness of investment and labor in driving economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of investment and labor on economic growth in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines during the 1994–2023 period. The analysis was conducted both partially and simultaneously. Employing a quantitative approach with panel data regression, the Fixed Effect model was selected based on the results of Chow and Hausman tests. The research findings indicate that investment has a positive and significant partial effect on economic growth. Similarly, labor also demonstrates a positive and significant partial effect on economic growth. Furthermore, simultaneously, both investment and labor are proven to significantly influence economic growth. The regression model used exhibits good predictive power, with 70.49% of the variation in economic growth being explained by investment and labor. These findings underscore the importance of synergy between investment effectiveness and improved labor quality in fostering sustainable economic growth in the Southeast Asian region.

Abstract

One form of government effort to support this is through the implementation of the Community Empowerment Trust Fund Program (DAPM), which is a community-owned fund derived from the National Program for Community Empowerment (PNPM) funds managed by the community in poverty reduction based on community empowerment, namely through Women's Special Savings and Loan (SPP) activities. This program is designed to provide business capital assistance to underprivileged communities with the hope that they can develop their businesses independently and be able to improve the standard of living of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the Cisayong DAPM program on community welfare in Cisayong Sub-district, Tasikmalaya Regency. The type of research used is field survey research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were members of the Women's Special Savings and Loan (SPP) which amounted to 157 groups. Researcher sample withdrawal using simple random sampling technique. The method of determining the number of samples using the slovin formula with an accuracy level of 0.1 of the total population obtained a sample of 92 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the T test results state that the Cisayong DAPM program has a significant effect on community welfare. With the coefficient of determination, it can be seen from the R Square of 0.687, which means that the influence of the Cisayong DAPM program variable on community welfare is 68,7% and the rest is caused by other factors.

Abstract

UMKM Rizqi Batik is one of the creative industry players in Tasikmalaya City, which has potential to develop at the national and international levels. To support this growth, development strategies that consider internal strengths, external challenges, and multi-stakeholder collaboration are needed. This research aims to: (1) determine the internal and external conditions of UMKM Rizqi Batik in 2025, (2) map the strategic position of the business based on the SWOT approach within the framework of The Strategy-Formulation Analytical Framework (TSFAF), (3) formulate development alternative strategies involving Pentahelix actors, and (4) determine priority strategies based on objective assessment through the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Strategy analysis is conducted in three stages of TSFAF: Input Stage (using IFE, EFE, VRIO, Value Chain, PESTEL, and Porter's Five Forces analysis), Matching Stage (SWOT analysis and IE Matrix), and Decision Stage (strategy assessment using QSPM). The results show that Rizqi Batik has high internal strengths (IFE score of 3.07) and is capable of responding well to external opportunities (EFE score of 3.00), thus positioned in Quadrant I of the IE Matrix, which recommends an aggressive strategy. Three alternative strategies were generated from SWOT Matching, namely: (1) digital promotion based on cultural narratives, (2) market expansion through partnerships and online distribution, and (3) development of modern fashion products with batik motifs. Based on QSPM results, the digital promotion strategy received the highest Total Attractiveness Score of 9.9151 and was established as the priority strategy. The success of strategy implementation heavily depends on the synergy among the five main actors in the Pentahelix approach: academia, business actors, community, government, and media

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the implementation of ERP systems by retail companies Ermybag can affect the improvement of operational performance. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation related to operational activities at Ermybag. The results of the study show that the implementation of the ERP system at ermybag in general has a positive impact on operational performance. Work processes that were previously carried out manually and separately are now more integrated, and documented in real time. ERP allows information between divisions to be accessed more easily, speeds up decision-making, and reduces data duplication. However, significant challenges were also found in terms of data quality and stock accuracy due to the absence of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and low data input discipline by users. This study provides an important implication that the success of ERP implementation does not only depend on the technological system, but also on management readiness, work culture, and strengthening internal operational procedures. By designing clear SOPs and increasing the capacity of HR in the use of the system, companies can maximize the potential of ERP in improving operational performance. This research is expected to be a reference for other retail companies to adopt ERP systems, as well as a theoretical contribution to the development of management information system studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and price on customer satisfaction at Narassi Coffee Tasikmalaya. The background of this study is based on the high competition of coffee shop businesses in Tasikmalaya City, so that the right strategy is needed to maintain and increase customer satisfaction. The method used is quantitative with a survey approach through a questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that product quality and price partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The higher the consumer's perception of product quality and price, the higher the level of satisfaction felt. This finding implies that Narassi Coffee needs to continue to maintain product quality and set competitive prices in order to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ease of use and security risks on the interest in using the DANA digital wallet among students of the Islamic Economics Study Program, Tasikmalaya Islamic Institute. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of financial technology, especially digital wallets, which are considered practical and easy to use by the younger generation. The method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach, processed using SPSS version 29. The study population was 111 students, and the sample used was 53 respondents selected using the simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests, t-tests, f-tests, and coefficients of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that both ease of use and security risks have a positive and significant effect on the interest in using the DANA digital wallet, both partially and simultaneously. This finding emphasizes the importance of developing a user-friendly interface and a reliable security system. This study can be input for application developers such as DANA to improve service quality, as well as for educational institutions in providing digital literacy to students.
