Abstract

The role of parents is a form of obligation and duty that should be carried out by every parent, and where taking each of these roles has an influence on the level of independence of adolescent children for the next life. And the role of parents is not only seen as the foundation of teachers, but can also act as mentors and models for each of their children. In the process carried out by each parent, various problems often arise. Be it in terms of the child's social environment, parents' mistakes in pampering their children, and there are even some parents who have succeeded in forming children's independence so that they become good teenagers in the future. However, it is known that teenagers who commit crimes or delinquencies are generally due to a lack of self-control and actually abuse their way of controlling themselves, and even like to make their own rules without paying attention to the existence of other people around them. And in the Huta I area of Bandar Malela, researchers see and do very rarely, even a small incidence of juvenile delinquency in this village, because parents are smart in educating and supervising every child from childhood to adolescence. And this research aims to describe the role of parents in Huta I Bandar Malela in preventing juvenile delinquency. This research is also descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 6 parents who had teenage children aged 14 to 21 years, who lived in Huta I Bandar Malela, Gunung Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. The object of this research includes the role of parents in preventing juvenile delinquency. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that parents in Huta I Bandar Malela have been able to carry out their roles as educators, encouragers, supervisors, communicators and friends of their children so as to avoid juvenile delinquency

Abstract

Current advances in information technology help make it easier to obtain information regarding motorbike credit simulations, one of which is by accessing the website from KKB BCA. This research is qualitative research using observation methods and literature studies in observations related to business processes on this website. Observation involves understanding how the website collects and processes the necessary data from users, including information about vehicle price, down payment amount, interest rate, and credit tenor to credit simulation calculations of estimated monthly payments, describing payment schedules, and providing cost summaries. The website interface is quite easy to understand so users can create simulations without needing a guide. The use of the website can run well as expected so that it can help make it easier for users or consumers to determine credit planning for motor vehicles through the credit simulation on this website.

Abstract

This research discusses intercultural public speaking ethics, which is a combination of public speaking ethics and intercultural communication ethics. The method used in this research is the library research method, in which researchers conduct research only on library collection materials related to intercultural public speaking ethics. The research results show that a public speaker is not only required to understand public speaking ethics but is also required to understand intercultural communication ethics so that public speakers can apply intercultural public speaking ethics. By applying intercultural public speaking ethics, public speaking with audiences of people from different cultural backgrounds can be effective. To apply intercultural public speaking ethics, public speakers must first learn the culture of their audience by first seeking information regarding what ethics are deemed permissible and not permissible. After studying the cultural ethics of the audience, the public speaker must enter that culture as if the public speaker is part of the members of that culture without leaving the public speaker's own cultural identity.

Abstract

Achieving quality education and raising the Human Development Index (HDI) both depend heavily on education. When compared to other regions of West Java, Karawang Regency often has a low Human Development Index (HDI). As specified in Karawang Regent Regulation Number 45 of 2022 concerning the Karawang Cerdas Program, the Karawang Regency Government subsequently introduced a policy for education expense support in the form of the Karawang Cerdas scholarship program. The program's administration, including socialization, falls under the purview of the People's Welfare Section of the Karawang Regency Regional Secretariat. Finding, evaluating, and summarizing the social welfare communication approach used to promote the Karawang Cerdas Program is the goal of this study. This study is descriptive by design and employs a qualitative method using a qualitative approach. The results of the research demonstrate that the Karawang Cerdas Program is the communicator (who) in the Social Welfare communication strategy, along with Welfare, SKPD, and educational units; the communicants (to whom) are all societal levels; the media (in which channels) are direct media, print, social, and news; and the effect (with what effect) of the high number of registrants and the presence of extortion officers.
