Abstract

This research aims to understand Indonesia's current inflation rate, its impact on purchasing power and economic stability, and the Islamic perspective on inflation and potential policy solutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of literature study by reviewing books, literature, records, and reports related to the problem to be solved. The study found that Indonesia's inflation rate has fluctuated over the past four years, and has recently shown a downward trend due to falling prices in certain sectors. The predicted inflation rate at the end of 2024 is 2.4%. Inflation can directly affect purchasing power, with rising inflation eroding people's ability to purchase goods and services. This, in turn, impacts economic stability. Islamically, stabilizing the prices of basic necessities and equitable distribution of wealth are key to controlling inflation and maintaining economic stability. For Indonesia, the government should continue to implement policies to manage factors that affect inflation, such as demand, production costs, money supply, energy prices, and taxes.

Abstract

The concept of economic justice in Islam covers various important aspects such as wealth distribution, fairness in business, and fair management of profits. Unlike capitalist and socialist economic systems, Islamic economics emphasizes the equal distribution of wealth and equal rights for every individual to manage factors of production. In Islam, economic justice aims to achieve common good, avoid economic inequality, and prohibit all forms of exploitation, monopoly, and hoarding of wealth. This system emphasizes the importance of distributive justice, where each individual gets their rights according to the contribution they make without exploiting others. Efforts for socio-economic justice are implemented through policies such as zakat, alms, and fair distribution of wealth, as regulated in Islamic law. In addition, the concept of wealth and consumption in Islamic economics is also regulated by principles that maintain a balance between physical and spiritual needs, as well as between individual and community rights. Islamic economics ensures that every individual has access to the resources and wealth needed for the common good.

Abstract

This article aims to prove that Islamic economics can provide holistic solutions that can be applied to achieve a harmonious balance between family and business interests without sacrificing either of them. This study uses a library research method with an integrative and comprehensive literature analysis to develop a solid and applicable theoretical framework. The results state that the balance between family and business in a family business is not just an effort to divide time and roles but a strategic integration that demands a harmonized vision, high professionalism, and strong values of togetherness. Family businesses can develop professionally without sacrificing family ties by building a vision based on Islamic principles, implementing good corporate governance, maintaining open communication, and enforcing strict role boundaries. This strategy makes the family business a space that creates profit and realizes blessings and long-term prosperity. Only with a thorough commitment to these values can a family business become an example of true strength rooted in togetherness and integrity amidst increasingly fierce competition.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss GNP and GDP as the main indicators in measuring community welfare. The research method used in writing this article is library research or literature study. The research results show that GNP reflects the total value of services and goods obtained by citizens, both inside and outside the country, while GDP only calculates the value of production within a country's geographical boundaries. Furthermore, in considering production factors, GNP measures the total production produced by a country's citizens, both within the country and abroad. Meanwhile, GDP only includes production that occurs within the country itself. In terms of the influence of income from abroad, GNP also takes into account the income earned by citizens from abroad and reduces the income received by foreign citizens residing in the country. In contrast, GDP does not consider the income received by citizens from abroad.
