Abstract

The purpose of this service is to change the function of rat pests into organic fertilizer products. In this service, the method used is descriptive qualitative. The technique of determining the informants was done by purposive sampling, data collection techniques were observation, in-depth interviews, and documents. The analysis of the data used is qualitative, it can obtain regularity and systematic, the three of which are interrelated, namely: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the processing of organic fertilizers do not use sophisticated equipment but only use manual equipment made with special assemblies with ordinary tools, the first process carried out is arresting, then killing, weighing, soaking, draining and using them at the time of processing. rice field irrigation.

Abstract

Pre-school age children are a period when children tend to be more active and energetic. They need good nutrition in addition to energy from food to support their growth and development as well as their daily activities. Consuming a balanced diet ensures that their nutritional needs are met. A balanced diet also helps children stay healthy and develop good eating habits, which will form a solid foundation for their future health. Snacks or food in the school environment sometimes does not guarantee the cleanliness and nutritional content of these snacks. Diseases that occur as a result of unhealthy snacking behavior can lead to health problems such as cancer, poisoning, food borne disease as well as growth and development disorders in health at the age of preschool children. The location for implementing community service is at RA AL-MA'UNAH, Mojojejer Village, Mojowarno Regency, Jombang Regency, where to meet the snack needs of students at RA AL-MA'UNAH, Mojojejer Village, Mojowarno Regency, Jombang Regency, they buy snacks from newcomers and regular sellers. Students before going to school and at 09.00 WIB when taking a break buy these snacks even though the teachers always suggest bringing their own food from home. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is that RA AL-MA'UNAH students in Mojojejer Village, Mojowarno Regency, Jombang Regency understand the importance of healthy snacks while at school so that they are used to living healthy after school through health education on healthy snacks by the Community Service team from Bina Sehat university PPNI Regency. Mojokerto. The method we use in community service is Health education about healthy snacks for RA AL-MA'UNAH students, Mojojejer Village, Mojowarno, Jombang Regency. The result of this health education is that RA AL-MA'UNAH, Mojojejer Village, Mojowarno, Jombang Regency, is able to understand and implement buying healthy snacks at school and at their respective homes.

Abstract

Community service is an important means of improving the quality of education and public knowledge about health tips during pregnancy and the importance of carrying out integrated ANC examinations for pregnant women even during the Covid-19 pandemic. Provision of health education is needed during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for pregnant women. The purpose of this community service is to add insight and knowledge to pregnant women about the importance of Integrated ANC during the Covid-19 pandemic. The activity of providing health education is to create a learning process that leads to education and evaluation activities based on evidence based. The implementation of this community service activity was carried out at PMB (Independent Midwife Practice) in the Mojokerto area randomly selected in three PMBs. The total number of respondents was 50 pregnant women, before being given counseling we gave questionnaires to the audience with the result that most of the pregnant women did not know the importance of Integrated ANC and were afraid to check their pregnancies with health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. So that some of them did not carry out integrated ANC examinations during the pandemic and chose to stay at home because they were afraid of transmitting the Covid-19 virus. After being given Health Education about the importance of integrated ANC and healthy tips for pregnant women during a pandemic, they finally realized the importance of maintaining the health of mothers and babies, especially having to continue to carry out integrated ANC examinations so they can get quality pregnancy services and detect early any abnormalities/complications in mothers, even though they are in a pandemic while still adhering to health protocols to avoid transmission of Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to assist SMK PK teachers to produce collaborative e-modules. The collaboration that is expected to be realized is the existence of an e-module collaboration on productive materials with mathematics, collaborative e-modules between productive materials. The main obstacle to the implementation of SMK PK lies in the teachers, because not all teachers are able to adapt quickly to change. This service activity is carried out through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation and follow-up. At the implementation stage, this community service activity uses 2 activities, namely workshops and mentoring. The result of the assistance is the creation of a collaboration module between informatics subjects in computer and network engineering expertise programs, mathematics with catering services and in nursing subjects

Abstract

Worms are caused by human behavior. Types of worms that are often the cause of worms are hookworn and Trichuris trichiura. Until now there are still school-age children who are infected by Soil Transmitted Helminth (STH), but public awareness to prevent and deal with helminthiasis is still lacking. Due to the ignorance of the community, especially students and teachers, the school must prepare facilities for washing hands and soap that meet the requirements so that children after playing or before eating at school wash their hands first and the risk of worm infection can decrease. The method used is counseling and training. The results obtained from 14 respondents who took part in this Abdimas activity were at the time of the pretest as many as 57.14% of respondents knew about intestinal worms and their prevention. After being given counseling and training, the results increased to 73.21%. This means that the level of knowledge of respondents about worms rose 16.07%. Through this Abdimas students participate in the socialization of helminthiasis in the environment where they are located, namely at school, at home and in the surrounding environment.
