Abstract

Infak as one of the Islamic financial instruments that also has a role in encouraging increased welfare and reducing social inequality. This study aims to analyze the determinants of the use of online platforms to pay infak among Indonesian millennial Muslims. This paper provides an enrichment of the determinants of intention to pay infak through a digital platform which of course is expected to be taken into consideration in policy formulation for stakeholders including philanthropic organizations. A quantitative approach with a structural equation model (SEM) was chosen in analyzing the data with the help of the SmartPLS application.3. The research sample was 76 respondents spread across several islands in Indonesia. The existing respondents are determined by the main criteria, namely Muslims aged 24-39 years who represent the Millennial generation. Data collection is done online with the help of google forms which are distributed through social media. Through this study, it was found that social presence, and ease of access to financial facilities have a positive effect on the intention to donate using a digital platform. However, when the variables of religiosity and ease of access were moderated by donating behavior,it was not found significant effect.

The development of good transportation infrastructure (freeways) will greatly help the development of a region, business or business activities in an area will be increasingly stretched along with the better availability of road infrastructure which is access to the area. one of which is the construction of a freeway in Lampung province as the gateway to the island of Sumatra. This research wants to know how the impact of transportation infrastructure development has on regional economic inclusive growth. The research method used is quantitative with the Paired Sample t-Test and Wilcoxon and multiple regression using the Random Effect Model. The results of this study reveal that of the five variables, only the GRDP variable has no significant changes. Then the results of the regression test before the presence of the freeway showed that there was a significant influence on the human development index on GRDP, while the results after the freeway had an influence, namely the variable human development index, and labor force participation.

This study aims to analyze the impact of international trade on Crude Palm Oil (CPO) commodities, which consist of CPO exports, CPO production, exchange rates, inflation, and unemployment, on economic growth in Indonesia. The method used is multiple linear regression using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach and the eviews 10 application. The data used is an annual time series from 1990–2021. The results of the study simultaneously show that the variables of CPO exports, CPO production, exchange rates, inflation, and unemployment have a joint effect on economic growth. Abstract

Carbon emissions are one of the main causes of global climate change. High carbon emissions can hinder long-term economic growth. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Trade Openness, Energy Consumption, and Economic Growth variables on CO2 Emissions in D-8 countries (Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey) during the period of 1992 to 2021 using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) panel model. The results of the study indicate that Economic Growth in D-8 countries has a positive long-term effect on CO2 Emissions but has no short-term effect. The Energy Consumption variable has a short-term effect on CO2 Emissions. However, Trade Openness does not have a short-term or long-term effect on CO2 Emissions. Therefore, it is expected that D-8 countries pay attention to policies that encourage investment in renewable energy, incentives for energy efficiency, and regulations that reduce emissions from specific sectors, which can help achieve sustainable and low-carbon economic growth.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), inflation, and unemployment on income inequality with the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) as a moderating variable for the 2012-2021 period in eight developed countries. Hypothesis testing using MRA regression. This study took secondary data from The World Bank and Transparency International (TI), in this study using 80 samples obtained from 8 countries consisting of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey. The results of the study show that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has a significant negative effect on income inequality and unemployment has a significant positive effect on income inequality while inflation has no effect on income inequality. In addition, the moderating variable used, namely the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), proved unable to moderate the three independent variables used in this study. The main contribution of this research is that it can provide good indicators for decision-makers in developing countries in terms of increasing FDI, increasing employment, overcoming inflation, and reducing the level of corruption so that later it can help prevent income inequality in developing countries.

Abstract

The economic growth of D-8 countries is influenced by factors such as foreign aid, foreign direct investment (FDI), and political stability. This study analyzes the impact of these variables on the economic growth of developing countries in the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Data collected from 2012 to 2021 were analyzed using Eviews 9 software. The results of the analysis indicate that foreign aid has a significant and positive effect on economic growth. Foreign aid promotes domestic investment, accelerates economic growth, and reduces development gaps. Additionally, foreign direct investment also contributes positively to the economic growth of developing countries through technology transfer, access to new markets, job creation, and increased domestic investment. Creating an environment that supports FDI is crucial, including clear investment policies, legal protection, and adequate political stability. Political stability plays an important role in strengthening the influence of foreign aid on economic growth. For future research, it is recommended to deepen the understanding of the interaction between foreign aid, foreign direct investment, and political stability in the context of economic growth in developing countries. Other factors that can affect economic growth should also be considered. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for policymakers in creating favorable conditions for economic growth and development in developing countries.
