Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and motivation on employee performance at the Defense Information Bureau, Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. The research object was selected due to its strategic role in state defense information management, where human resource performance is a crucial factor. The research aims to empirically test the partial and simultaneous effects of these three independent variables on employee performance. This research employs a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires distributed to 52 permanent employees of the Defense Information Bureau, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 25 software, including validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that, partially, organizational culture and motivation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, whereas leadership style does not show a significant effect. Simultaneously, the three independent variables collectively have a significant impact on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 41.3%. The main conclusion is that organizational culture and motivation are the dominant factors shaping performance in this environment, making the reinforcement of work values and continuous motivation development strategic recommendations.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving both local and national economic growth. Digitalization is one of the key strategies for MSMEs to enhance competitiveness and reach wider markets. Most MSMEs in Desa Limau, Sembawa District, have not yet optimally utilized digital technology, either in business location digitalization or promotional visualization, making their businesses difficult to find and resulting in low marketing reach. This community service program aims to improve the visibility of MSMEs in Desa Limau through location digitalization and promotional visualization. The activities were carried out through direct (door-to-door) assistance, which included creating business locations on Google Maps, providing basic introductions to marketplaces (Shopee and TikTok Shop), and designing promotional banners for one of the MSMEs. Location digitalization aims to make it easier for customers to find MSME business locations online, while promotional visualization is intended to attract customer attention through both digital and physical media. The results of this training show that the door-to-door approach effectively improved MSME owners’ understanding and skills in utilizing digital technology, making business locations easier to find and promotional media more appealing. This training program is expected to serve as an initial step for MSMEs to expand their sales reach and enhance competitiveness in the digital era.

This community service method uses a participatory approach, placing the community as active subjects in every stage, from planning to evaluation. The results of the community service program show that partners who were initially unable to conduct digital marketing are now able to create marketing content and conduct marketing through the website. Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower PKK (Family Welfare and Empowerment) women cadres in Teguhan Village through the utilization of organic waste to support sustainable agriculture and local economic resilience. Specifically, the program focused on training cadres to process coconut husk waste from Cocomixs beverage production and leftover household rice into an organic liquid fertilizer named PCO-Yococo. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, emphasizing active community involvement throughout the process. Activities were implemented in five stages: planning, socialization, training, technical guidance, and mentoring. The methods included environmental observation, participatory formulation of PCO-Yococo production procedures, hands-on production practice, dissemination of a digital pocket book, and periodic monitoring of the fermentation process and plant growth in Kebun Rahayu. The results showed significant improvements in participants’ technical skills related to organic fertilizer production, increased production capacity, and enhanced social and economic empowerment among PKK cadres. Overall, this program indicates that a participatory, community-based waste management initiative can effectively transform local waste into value-added agricultural inputs while strengthening environmental awareness, social capacity, and economic resilience in Teguhan Village.
