Abstract

Javanese short stories are one of the genres in modern Javanese literature. Short stories (short stories) in modern Javanese literature are called cekak stories (cerkak). The focus of the study of Javanese short stories is short stories contained in Javanese magazines, such as Jaya Baya magazine and Panyebar Semangat magazine. One of the stories that has pana magazine panjebar semangat is a cerkak entitled "“Ing Kene Ana Cahya” " by Sri Setya Rahayu. This research uses an objective approach and uses the theory of Structuralism. Based on the analysis of Structuralism in “Ing Kene Ana Cahya” ing, it can be concluded that the cerkak uses a mixed flow. In the character element, there are several figures, namely Widuri, Suryadi and Pak Tamin. The background element is divided into two, namely the setting of the place and the background of time, the setting where the event occurs is on the House and Street, the background time on the story of “Ing Kene Ana Cahya” occurs during the day. The point of view used in the story here is the third person point of view, where the author tells about the main character who experiences the events that occur.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of knowledge of researchers about the meaning reflected in the accompaniment of the traditional art of Sintren in Luwijawa Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency. The text of the tembang poem has many reflections in the form of meaning and basic functions, both implied and explicit, that exist so that it creates a certain interpretation of the tembang rhyme. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the meaning and function of the accompaniment of the traditional art of Sintren poetry in Luwijawa Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency are. The purpose of this research is to explain how the meaning and function of the accompaniment of the traditional art of Sintren in Luwijawa Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency. The methodology used in this study used descriptive qualitative research methods. The source of this research data is in the form of an oral text that has been transliterated into a written text of poetry that accompanies the traditional art of Sintren in Luwijawa Village, Jatinegara District, Tegal Regency with research data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences and discourses in it. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, recording, recording and translating data derived from the traditional art accompaniment of Sintren poetry. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data classification, and data presentation. Based on data analysis, the results of the study can be stated that in the text of the song lyrics accompanying the traditional art of Sintren found meaning in the form of meaning and function according to the song lyrics in each part.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang seluruhnya diperoleh dari sumber tertulis. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada cerkak Suryadi WS yang berjudul “Pedhot Neng Sungginan”. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan aspek sosiologi sastra dalam cerkak karya Suryadi WS ,dan hubungan pengarang dan karyanya. Pemilihan cerpen ini didasari oleh persoalan kritik soaial masyarakat bersikap acuh terhadap perempuan kaya yang sombong yang tercermin dalam cerkak tersebut. teori yang digunakan adalah sosiologi sastra.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to fulfill lecture assignments in order to develop writing skills and describe a person's character based on interactions between characters in a short story literary work or it can also be called cerkak. The story comes from a Javanese-language magazine published in 2019. However, what will be discussed in this scientific paper is the one with the title Didongake Malah Nesu which was created by Djaid Belor. The method used in this research is qualitative. Research data in the form of cerkak texts sourced from Javanese-language magazines published in 2019 tells of the reality of a husband and wife as officials who were accidentally prayed for by foreigners. The theory used is literary psychology that focuses on the behavior of characters that clearly describe the character's character. The results of this study are to find out the inner conflict that occurs in each character, to know the psychological condition of the character and the psychology of the author through the plot of the short story. Each character has a different role and response to the events they face to make the story interesting. This behavior becomes a reference for knowing the character's character through conversations and interactions between characters.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the language style contained in the geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari. This research uses qualitative research, which is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written words. The approach used in the research of Language Style in Geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari uses a stylistic approach. The data used in this study is descriptive data in the form of phrases, words, and sentences. The primary data source of the study was the geguritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari. By using secondary data sources in the form of articles, documents, books that lead to stylistic studies. This analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, done by describing the style of language in Bambang Sulanjari's Mung Sliramu geguritan. Data collection techniques with read and record techniques. The results of this study showed that in the guritan "Mung Sliramu" by Bambang Sulanjari found some stylistic usage; (1) linkage language style, (2) comparative language style, (3) purwakanthi guru swara, and (4) purwakanthi basa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to uncover the theory of feminism contained in the novel "Sindhen Padmi".  This research is about the reality of feminism contained in the novel "Sindhen Padmi". One form of reality contained in the novel "Sindhen Padmi" is gender equality in the social sphere. Javanese people have basic principles about the right inner attitude, namely controlled, calm, level-headed, patient, smooth, tolerance, being simple, honest, sumarah, subtle and not pursuing self-interest. Javanese women are often considered inferior in degree than men. His more passive, meek attitude, and so on are often analogous to women being weak creatures. The image of Javanese women is the main female character and efforts to maintain the image of Javanese women on the main female character. The source of this research data is the novel "Sindhen Padmi" by Tulus Setiyadi published by CV. Weed Library in 2018.

Abstract

The purpose of making this article is to find out the incompatibility of the work of Javanese literature on Geguritan Budi Palopo with the title "Dungo Mupload Rank" to be applied in daily life practice. This research based on the theory of the sociology of literature uses qualitative research, which is in line with the opinion (Ratna, 2013: 47) in (Autoridad Nacional del Servicio Civil, 2021) that the sociology of literature focuses on social signs that have to do with society as is the general characteristic of qualitative research. . Based on the sociological theory of literature, this research is descriptive in nature, because it explains clearly what is the content of this geguritan text, as the author wants to present to the reader. In making this article using the type/approach of research in the form of library research or library research. Literature study is a study that is used to collect information and data with the help of various materials in the library such as documents, books, magazines, historical stories, etc. Library research or library search, namely research carried out through data collection or scientific writing aimed at the object of research or data. In accordance with the title of this geguritan, the poet shows a way so that his prayers or hopes for his promotion can be fulfilled. The first stanza describes how to deal with the ruler so that things run smoothly, namely by fawning. People who have a desire to increase in rank and rank are advised to be able to sort out and immediately humble themselves before the ruler, lick the ruler's feet, and make the authority of the ruler continue to grow.
