Abstract

Online shopping is becoming a habit among the public due to the convenience it offers. This research aims to help consumers choose the appropriate e-commerce application, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and involving 33 respondents. The three e-commerce platforms analyzed are Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada. The results show that Shopee ranks first in all evaluated criteria, namely price, delivery speed, transaction security, and product completeness. Thus, Shopee has become the most chosen platform by respondents. The first and subsequent rankings in the Price Criteria = Shopee with 53.27%. Delivery Speed Criteria = Shopee 36.8%. Transaction Security Criteria = Shopee 54.14%. Product Completeness Criteria = Shopee 63.07%. If we look at the processed data we obtained, the Shopee application was chosen 4 times, or among all the criteria, Shoope is in the first position.

Abstract

Abstract

This study analyses the effect of interest rates, unemployment rates, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth in three major provinces of Indonesia, namely DKI Jakarta, West Java, and East Java during the period 2016–2023 using a panel data approach. The secondary data used came from the Central Statistics Agency and Bank Indonesia. The analysis method used panel data regression with Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests to select the best model and classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results show that the Common Effect Model is most appropriate for describing the relationship between variables in this study. Interest rates do not have a significant effect on economic growth, while unemployment rates have a significant negative effect and HDI has a significant positive effect on economic growth. The regression model with robust standard error is able to explain 94.10% of the variation in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the three provinces. These findings provide empirical evidence that improving the quality of human resources and reducing unemployment rates are key to driving economic growth in Indonesia's major regions.

Abstract

Poverty remains a crucial issue in Indonesia. Java Island, which contributes a large portion of the national GDP, still faces uneven development. Ibn Khaldun’s circle of equity model is employed to analyze the determinants of poverty, where the poverty rate represents the role of justice (j), influenced by democracy as a proxy for sharia (S), government expenditure as the role of government (G), economic growth as wealth (W), the open unemployment rate as the role of society or human resources (N), and the Human Development Index as development (g). This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). The data are obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, Ministry of Finance. The results show that the democracy index has no significant effect, government expenditure has a significant negative effect, economic growth has a significant positive effect, unemployment has no significant effect, and the Human Development Index has a significant negative effect on poverty. Simultaneously, the independent variables significantly explain variations in poverty. The integration of Ibn Khaldun’s circle of equity model into this empirical analysis offers a distinct approach to examining poverty issues.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in Indonesia’s banking sector has shifted financial transaction patterns toward mobile-based services. This study aims to analyze the effects of Third-Party Funds (DPK), Total Assets, and the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) on the value of mobile banking transactions in Islamic banking in Indonesia. The study employs monthly secondary data covering the period from July 2020 to June 2025, consisting of 60 observations, and applies the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to examine both short-run and long-run relationships among variables. The Granger causality test results indicate the presence of unidirectional causality from DPK, total assets, and BI7DRR to the value of mobile banking transactions. The Johansen cointegration test confirms the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship among the variables. The VECM estimation shows that, in the long run, total assets have a positive and significant effect on the value of mobile banking transactions, while DPK and BI7DRR do not have a significant effect. In the short run, the error correction coefficient (CointEq1 = −0.620366) indicates an adjustment speed toward equilibrium of 62%. The findings suggest that the expansion of Islamic banking assets plays a crucial role in driving digital transaction activity, while changes in monetary policy (BI7DRR) tend to influence transaction behavior primarily in the short run. These results provide implications for strengthening digital financial inclusion strategies through liquidity management and the enhancement of Islamic banking asset capacity.
