Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out whether the income of teachers and employees of MAN 2 and 3 Pekanbaru City, knowledge of teachers and employees of MAN 2 and 3 Pekanbaru City, and the promotion of Syariah Bank have a significant positive effect on the decision in using Islamic residential financing products based on murabahah contracts. The type of research applied is quantitative research, research data is presented in the form of numbers and performs calculations using statistical methods. The objects in this research are teachers and employees at MAN 2 and 3, totaling 104 samples to represent the 141 population. Based on the results of the research, it can be found that the independentvariables consisting of income, knowledge and promotion have an effect on the decision in using Syariah House Ownership Credit. The independent variable that has the most influence on the decision in using Syariah House Ownership Credit is the knowledge variable. Through this research, it is hoped that consumer can better understand the offers from banks regarding financing services so that it is easier to make decisions on the use of Syariah House Ownership Credit provided by Syariah Bank.

Abstract

Cash waqf is an Islamic platinum philanthropy having substantial roles in both economic and social developments of community. At the Sabilillah Mosque Cooperatives of Malang, this type of Islamic endowment builds and develops the economic potential and capacity of its members in particular and the community in general to improve social welfare. This socio legal research addresses how the cooperative manages the endowment and how the management conforms the Islamic law using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data was harvested through interviews and documentation, which is collecting, compiling, and managing relevant data. This study finds that the waqf is managed by carrying out the membership procedures applied by the cooperative, i.e. paying compulsory deposit, principal deposit, administration fee, and the cash waqf. The cooperative allocates the waqf fund only for public welfare, i.e. loan and saving system, such as financing businesses, paying school fees, helping people to pay their loan, and so on.

Abstract

Industri kosmetik dan kecantikan merupakan industri dengan nilai yang sangat tinggi di dunia, salah satunya juga di Indonesia. Di Indonesia sendiri, perkembangan dunia kosmetik sangat pesat dari waktu ke waktu. Sebagai negara dengan populasi mayoritas Muslim, permintaan akan produk kosmetik halal merupakan peningkatan yang tidak dapat disangkal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis apakah ada pengaruh variabel halal, kesadaran halal, dan juga persepsi produk halal terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam membeli produk kosmetik halal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sumber data berupa data primer yang diperoleh melalui teknik penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden dengan menentukan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel prediktor yang terdiri dari label halal (X1), kesadaran halal (X2) dan persepsi produk halal (X3) terhadap variabel respon yaitu keputusan konsumen dalam membeli produk kosmetik halal (Y) baik secara bersamaan. atau sebagian pada setiap variabel prediktor. Secara parsial, variabel X1 berpengaruh positif sebesar 0,017 dan tidak signifikan dengan nilai 0,847 pada variabel Y. Sedangkan variabel X2 berpengaruh positif sebesar 0,340 dan signifikan dengan nilai 0,000 pada variabel Y. Kemudian untuk variabel X3 berpengaruh positif sebesar 0,399 dan signifikan dengan nilai 0,000 untuk variabel Y.

Abstract

Indonesia with a majority Muslim community makes the potential for cash waqf very large. According to the National Committee for Islamic Economics and Finance (KNEKS), the potential for cash waqf could reach IDR 180 trillion, but the realization of waqf is still far below the existing potential. In general, the practice of waqf can help the socio-economic development of the Muslim community and distribute wealth among the community because waqf is intended to fund and maintain Islamic institutions such as madrasas, schools, universities and other public services. The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of income, knowledge, trust, and convenience of students on students' intentions to do cash waqf at online waqf institutions. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with logistic regression analysis method. The sampling method used was Non-Probability sampling with Purposive Sampling Technique, and found 176 according to Isaac and Michael's formula from the total population of Islamic Economics Students from the batch of 2015 until 2021. From the R-Square test, it is known that the independent variables in the study can explain 64.2% of the related variables and the rest can be explained by variables outside of the study. In addition, the results of this study indicate that the convenience variable is significant to the students' intention to perform waqf through money. While the variables of income, knowledge, and trust have no significant effect on students' intentions in conducting cash waqf through online waqf institutions.

Abstract

Sharia savings products are one of the instruments used by the public to be a place to store assets. BSI is one of the largest Islamic banks in Indonesia that provides many sharia savings product services. The purpose of this study was to determinate how the influence of sharia literacy, customer trust, and sharia banking services on the preference for using BSI sharia savings products. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the result of literature studies an journals. This research was conducted at BSI KC Malang Sutoyo with a total of 100 respondents. In this study, the tools used to manage data were using IBM SPSS Ver. 23. The result of this study found that Islamic financial literacy, cutomer trust, and Islamic banking services both partially and simultaneously affect the preference for using sharia savings products at BSI KC Mlang Sutoyo.

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze factors influencing muslim millennial prefrences in choosing product and service sharia banking. The independen variables in this research are advantages, knowledge, religiosity and technology. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with muslim millennial in Eest Java as the population. The data are taken directly by questionnaire from one hundred respondent. Data analysis using reliability test, validality test and classical assumption test and then multiple linear regression, T test dan F test was employed to evaluated the data. The result show that the advantage and religiosity had a significant effect on the muslim millennial preferences in choosing product and service sharia banking, while the knoweledge and Technology had no effect on on the muslim millennial preference in choosing product and service sharia banking.

Abstract

Islamic banks need to have good performance in order to gain the trust of the public. In assessing the performance of a bank whether it is good or not, it can be seen from its profitability. This study aims to determine the effect of external and internal variables on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in 2017 - 2019. The external variables consist of GDP and inflation. While the internal variables consist of CAR, NPF and FDR. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of GDP, inflation, CAR and FDR had no significant effect on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. While the NPF variable has a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Future research is expected to be able to add other macroeconomic variables and increase the research period.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a majority Muslim population and still experiencing poverty. One of the efforts to eradicate poverty in Islam is through zakat, especially professional zakat, which has considerable potential because it can be paid monthly or annually. The millennial generation is also said to be able to help optimize the zakat collection in Indonesia. Tangerang City is one of the regions in Indonesia called the City of Akhlakul Karimah. Hence zakat is the right step to eradicate poverty, especially from professional zakat, because Tangerang City is dominated by the millennial generation and has a fairly high Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) level. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of zakat knowledge, social environment, and income on the decision to pay professional zakat for the millennial generation of Tangerang City. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach through logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the social environment variable significantly affected the decisions of the millennial generation in Tangerang City in paying professional zakat. In contrast, there is no significant effect of the variable knowledge of zakat and income on the decisions of the millennial generation in Tangerang City in paying professional zakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a dependent relationship between the variables of financial literacy, trust and profit sharing on saving decisions. The number of respondents to the study was 100 traders from the Pasar Besar City of Malang, East Java, using a quantitative methodology. According to the results of research that has been done, there is a positive relationship between financial literacy, trust and profit sharing on saving decisions. . Of all the independent variables, those that have the greatest influence start from the trust variable of 0.630, the profit sharing variable of 0.366, and the financial literacy variable of 0.278. Thus this study suggests that the government and Islamic savings and loan cooperatives can increase socialization regarding the benefits of using savings products, as well as improve the quality and distribution of Islamic savings and loan cooperatives so as to increase public trust and interest in saving.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of Islamic economics and Islamic banking as well as students' interest in saving, especially students of the Islamic economics study program at Universitas Brawijaya at Islamic banks, where they are studying Islamic economic concepts. This study wanted to determine the effect of income, Islamic banking literacy, and religiosity on student interest in saving at Islamic banks. This study uses the theory of income, savings, banking, and religiosity. This research method is descriptive quantitative, which is a method to test certain theories that mutually test the relationship between related variables, namely the x variable (income, Islamic banking literacy and religiosity) and the y variable (student saving interest). So that these variables will be measured with research instruments so that the existing data in the form of numbers will be calculated and analyzed based on statistical procedures, namely with the SPSS calculation application. The source of the data obtained from the distribution of the questionnaire then analyzed using analytical techniques using regression analysis. The population in this study were students of the University's Islamic Economics Study Program Brawijaya class from 2017 to 2020 and the sample is 80 related students. The test results concluded that the X variable (income, Islamic banking literacy and religiosity) had a significant effect on the Y variable (student saving interest).
