Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity on the level of willingness to volunteer among the people of Indonesia, Nigeria and Egypt. The data used is survey data from the World Value Survey (WVS) Wave 7 which was held around 2017 to 2021 and published in 2022, using a purposive sampling technique and filtered using the Isaac and Michael calculation formula. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using multinomial logistic regression analysis technique using secondary data types. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the religiosity variable has a significant effect on the probability of a person's willingness to volunteer at philanthropic institutions in each of the countries that are the research targets, namely Indonesia, Nigeria and Egypt. Thus, the practical implications of this research are as a form of reference for stakeholders as material for consideration and evaluation in policy making to optimize the level of charity activity in philanthropic organizations in these countries in terms of the volunteer aspect and its relation to religiosity.

So, in this study the author will examine whether halal awareness, price, income and religiosity factors can affect consumption of local skincare in terms of its suitability in Islamic consumption patterns. This research uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to develop a behavior model for local skincare consumption. The results of this study are that the price and income variables are influential but not significant. while the halal awareness variable and the level of religiosity have a positive and significant effect on local skincare consumption.

Abstract

In Indonesia, traditional markets are expected to shift to modern markets such as minimarkets, as evidenced by the number of minimarkets in Indonesia. Product availability, income, and comparing product prices in stores are things that can influence the increase in consumers in making purchases at mini markets. The development that occurs in minimarkets can also be known through the number of consumers who make purchases. The purpose of this research is to find out how the variables of income, price, and Islamic consumption level affect purchases at the Rois Dahlan Mosque minimarket. The data obtained is primary data sourced from the results of questionnaires that have been distributed to respondents, namely 30 consumers who shop at the Al-Khaibar minimarket of the Rois Dahlan Mosque. This study uses logistic regression analysis using the SPSS 27 program. The results showed that income, price and Islamic consumption levels simultaneously affect the chances of increasing purchases. From the partial test results, it is found that the price variable and the level of Islamic consumption have a significant effect on the opportunity to increase purchases. While the income variable does not have a significant effect on the opportunity to increase purchases.

Abstract

The current economic condition of Indonesian society can be considered uneven. With the majority of the population being Muslims, the guidance and Islamic principles in addressing the problems of poverty within the community become important to implement. ZIS stands for Zakat, Infaq, and Shodaqoh, which refer to activities carried out by Muslims to share with those in need. In this digital era, people tend to transform their behaviors into digital lifestyles in every activity and transaction they engage in. This also extends to the community in terms of increasing the collection of ZIS funds. This study aims to determine the effects of the perceived ease of use, perceived effectiveness, and the perceived risk of digital fundraising usage on the intention to pay ZIS funds. The population of this research consists of the residents of Malang City who use digital fundraising to pay ZIS. A sample of 123 respondents was selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that the perceived ease of use significantly effect on the intention to pay ZIS using digital fundraising (online), the effectiveness variable significantly effect on the intention to pay ZIS using digital fundraising (online), and the risk variable does not significantly effect on the intention to pay ZIS using digital fundraising (online).

The data used in the research was obtained from financial report data. This study population is the Sharia Commercial Banks. The sample selection technique used was purposive sampling and obtained 8 Sharia Commercial Bank with research period of 2017-2021 quarterly. The method of analysis in this research is the panel data regression using the Stata 17 software. The results shows that all independent variables (CAR, FDR, BOPO, NPF) affect the dependent variable profitability proxied by (ROA). Partially, it was found that CAR positively and significantly affects ROA, while FDR negatively and significantly affects ROA. Similarly, BOPO has a significant negative impact on ROA, as does NPF, which also has a significant negative impact on ROA.
