Abstract

Introduction: Based on the data obtained from January to May 2022 in the Bogor City Hospital Emergency Room, it was found that the documentation of nursing care was not optimal. 7 Emergency Room nurses said that the workload of nurses was quite heavy with countless patient visits with various criteria. Incomplete documentation of nursing care will lead to a decrease in the quality of nursing services and the occurrence of a problem that has the potential to become a legal case for nursing staff. Therefore, it is necessary to increase knowledge regarding the completeness of proper documentation and motivation from leaders and management so that nurses can complete the documentation of nursing care optimally. Methods: This study uses a cross-sectional descriptive quantitative method, with the type of correlation. The samples taken were 42 respondents. The instruments used were the workload questionnaire from Nursalam and the Hospital Nursing Care Standards (SAK) observation sheet. The dependent and independent variables in this study were Compliance with nursing care documentation and nurses’ workload. Results: The age distribution where nurses were mostly early adults with 33 people (78,6%), and the gender of most of them was 29 people (69%), The distribution of nurses' workload is almost entirely moderate, namely 35 people (83,3%) while the distribution of documentation compliance level is mostly obedient, which is 24 people (57,1%). Correlation Test Results p-value was obtained at 0,031 (< 0,05). Discussion: There is a significant relationship between the workload of nurses and the compliance of nurses' documentation in Bogor City Hospital Emergency Room in 2022.

Abstract

Introduction: Anemia is a condition where there is a decrease in hemoglobin, hematocrit, and erythrocyte counts below normal values. The prevalence of anemia in DKI Jakarta Province is 43.5%. The incidence of anemia is caused by low awareness of consuming iron tablets, and a lack of nutritious food intake. Iron supplementation is an effective way because the iron content is complemented by folic acid which can prevent anemia due to folic acid deficiency. Diet, adherence to consuming iron tablets (Fe), and the role of health workers are risk factors that cause anemia in pregnant women. Methods: An analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 110 people. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling using inclusion criteria: pregnant women with gestational age in the second and third trimesters and who had received iron (Fe) tablets. Data analysis with Chi-Square test and Odd Ratio (OR) calculation. Results: There is a significant relationship between diet and the incidence of anemia (p-value is 0,047; OR = 3,486), the compliance of Fe tablet consumption with the incidence of anemia (p-value 0,000; OR = 296), and the role of health workers with the incidence of anemia (p-value is 0,005; OR = 10,304. Discussion: In this study, it was proven that the diet, adherence to iron (Fe) consumption, and the role of health workers in the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.

Abstract

Introduction: ANC compliance is the obedience to visit health care facilities by pregnant women according to the advice of health workers. The consequences and impacts that might occur if you don't go on a pregnancy visit are that the mother can't find out about fetal development, increases MMR and IMR, and doesn't know what precautions to take if complications occur in pregnancy. Factors that influence ANC compliance are attitude, mileage, and family support. Efforts that can be made to increase compliance with ANC visits are midwives providing education and approaches to the community and cadres reminding mothers to check their pregnancies. Methods: This study used a descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample size of 42 people.  Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between attitude and ANC compliance with a p-value of 0,000; distance traveled with ANC compliance obtained a p-value of 0,005; family support with ANC compliance obtained a p-value of 0,000.  Discussion:  The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between attitudes, mileage, and family support with ANC compliance at PMB Midwife Deis Bogor Regency in 2022. Suggestions for pregnant women to carry out routine pregnancy checks in order to monitor the health and welfare of the fetus in the womb.

Abstract

Introduction: Cimanggu Health Center, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2021 is 56%, thus this achievement is still below the target, which is less than 80%. There are several reasons for the low level of exclusive breastfeeding, one of which is the mother feels that her milk is not sufficient for the baby's needs. If the baby is not given exclusive breastfeeding, it can cause adverse effects on the baby, including stunting, less than optimal growth and development of the baby, and other health problems in the baby. One of the main obstacles is the production of breast milk which is not smooth. One way to increase breast milk production is by consuming soy milk or mung bean juice. Methods: The research method is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design, the number of samples is 60 respondents, and the sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data is primary data analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Results: The results of the study of breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers before giving soy milk increased by 73,3% before increasing to 96,7%. Breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers before giving mung bean juice increased by 70,0% before increasing to 100%. The results of the bivariate analysis presented soy milk and mung bean juice to increase breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers with a p-value of 0,952. Discussion: The conclusion is that there is no significant difference between giving soy milk and mung bean juice to increase breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers. Giving soy milk and mung bean juice can both increase breast milk production. It is expected that breastfeeding mothers can consume soy milk or mung bean juice regularly during breastfeeding in order to increase milk production so that babies get exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Introduction: According to the survey on the satisfaction of respondents and health organizations that have been carried out by the BPJS, Myriad Research Committed in 2018 with a total of 17,280 public respondents, 81% said they are satisfied with BPJS outpatient health services. It's still below the government's target for public satisfaction, which is 95%. This suggests the service given by the BPJS is not optimal.1 In improving the quality of health care, Budhi Asih Hospital has applied the quality of services to achieve the goals of service performance and to achieve service satisfaction. They include client satisfaction in outpatient care and improved hospital image. Satisfied patients benefit hospitals, including reusing services given in the future when they need them again and can encourage others to use the service. On the other hand, dissatisfaction with patients will also make it difficult for hospitals to compete. If the impact is not overcome immediately, the hospital's stability will be affected. Disappointed customers don't just go, but tell others about the bad services they receive. Thus, good health care will bring the patient back into use and even encourage others to use it again. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of service quality based on the variables of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and hospital image to the satisfaction of outpatient BPJS patients at Budhi Asih Hospital in 2022. Methods: This research method uses a descriptive-analytic research method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study is 584 respondents. It used the slovin method to obtain a sample of 86 respondents. Data analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis with a Chi-Square research test. Results: Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a relationship between service quality from physical evidence (p = 0,002); reliability (p = 0,000); responsiveness (p = 0,000); assurance (p = 0,000); empathy (p = 0,000); and hospital image (p = 0,000) on patient satisfaction. There are significant relationships between service quality and hospital image toward patient satisfaction at Budhi Asih Hospital in 2022. Discussion: It is hoped that the results of this study can be input so that the management of Budhi Asih Hospital can evaluate the service quality and image of the hospital so that it can increase patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Introduction: Anxiety was the highest symptom that occurred during preoperative Cesarean Section (SC). The mother's anxiety during preoperative Sectio Caesarea was caused by fear of foreign actions to be performed, wound pain after surgery, injections, and risk of loss of life as a result of surgery and anesthesia, also including the risk of death or disability. The impact of anxiety in preoperative SC has delayed surgery, increased pain experienced by the mother, increased need for analgesic drugs, longer hospital stays, and also the occurrence of postpartum maternal depression. Efforts to reduce anxiety in mothers before surgery, one of which was by holding finger relaxation and a stress ball. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test designs with two comparative treatments. The number of samples in this study was 30 respondents, which were divided into 15 groups of finger grip therapy and 15 groups of stress ball therapy. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the level of anxiety HARS (Hamilton Rating Scale of Anxiety). Results: Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, it was found that the finger grip group had a p-value = 0,003; and the stress ball group had a p-value = 0,005. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney test, a p-value of 0,143 was obtained, which means < 0,05 so, it can be said that there is no significant difference between finger gripping and stress ball interventions. Discussion: This study aims to examine the comparison of the effectiveness of finger gripping techniques and stress balls on the level of anxiety in cesarean section patients. Finger grip therapy and stress balls given to pre-cesarean patients did not have a significant difference.
