The population in this study were all parents of patients whose children were treated in the Amarylis room on the 6th floor of the Khidmat Sehat Afiat Hospital. The data collection technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 210 respondents. The analysis used was the chi-square test. Results: The p-value produced was 0,000 < 0,05. Based on the results of the statistical test with the chi-square test, the p-value produced was 0,000 < 0,05 which can be concluded that there is a relationship between nurse therapeutic communication and the level of anxiety of parents whose children are treated in the Amarylis room on the 6th Floor at Khidmat Sehat Afiat Hospital. Abstract

Introduction: Overweight is defined as the accumulation of abnormal or excess fat that occurs due to an imbalance in energy intake with energy expenditure over a long period of time. decreased sensitivity to sweet tastes then humans will tend to consume more sugar and if not balanced with a balanced diet, they are at risk of developing diabetes mellitus, obesity, accelerating aging and causing cavities. Factors that affect sleep quality in adolescents include ethnicity, religion, location of home, parents' alcohol drinking status, satisfaction with academic performance, smoking, relationships with friends, internet use before bed. Overweight and obesity among university students have become a growing public health concern, influenced by various lifestyle and biological factors. Taste abnormalities, including changes in taste sensitivity or preference, may alter food intake patterns, leading to increased caloric consumption. Additionally, sleep duration has been identified as a critical determinant of body weight regulation where insufficient sleep can disrupt hormonal balance and appetite control.  Methods: the research used in this study is quantitative using an observational approach. The research design used is cross-sectional. The population in this study were 96 regular undergraduate students of Nursing at the University of Indonesia Maju in Jakarta. The researcher used the chi-square test with a confidence level of 95% or a significance level of 5%. This cross-sectional study involved a sample of male and female students selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that assessed demographic characteristics, sleep duration and self-reported taste perception abnormalities. Body mass index (BMI) was calculated based on measured height and weight to determine overweight status. Statistical analysis was conducted using chi-square and logistic regression tests to examine the relationship between taste abnormalities, sleep duration and overweight status. Results: Based on the results of the study, the p-value = 0.000 means p-value <α (0.05). The findings revealed a significant association between taste abnormalities and overweight (p < 0.05), where students experiencing taste sensitivity changes were more likely to be overweight compared to those with normal taste perception. Moreover, shorter sleep duration (< 7 hours per night) was significantly related to higher BMI levels (p < 0.01). Female students showed a higher prevalence of overweight compared to male students. Discussion: There is a relationship between Taste Abnormalities and Sleep Duration on Obesity of Students at the University of Indonesia Maju 2024. The results suggest that altered taste perception and inadequate sleep duration may play a considerable role in the development of overweight among university students. Taste abnormalities could influence dietary preferences toward high-fat or high-sugar foods, while reduced sleep duration may disrupt metabolic and hormonal pathways regulating hunger and satiety. Interventions promoting healthy sleep patterns and awareness of sensory health may be essential strategies to prevent overweight and obesity in young adults.

Abstract

Introduction: Storage of food ingredients is an important procedure in hospital nutrition management, involving the systematic organization, storage, maintenance, and documentation of both dry and wet food supplies. The storage and distribution process begins with the receipt of goods at the warehouse, followed by inspection, verification, and recording on warehouse stock cards as part of the inventory control system. After documentation, food ingredients are placed in predetermined storage locations according to hospital standards and nutritional service regulations. Proper food storage greatly contributes to maintaining food quality, ensuring safety, and supporting continuous patient meal service. Methods: This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The study was designed to describe storage management practices within the hospital nutrition installation objectively and in detail. The qualitative method allowed in-depth exploration of storage procedures, infrastructure, personnel performance, and compliance with hospital standards. Results: Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document review. Based on the findings, the warehouse personnel were actively involved in the organization and management of food storage. However, there was no special checking procedure for dry food ingredients, and some essential equipment, such as low preparation tables, was unavailable. Operational funds used for storage activities were sourced from the hospital treasurer. Despite certain limitations in equipment and checking procedures, the overall storage process within the Nutrition Installation of Hospital X was carried out in accordance with the applicable Hospital Nutrition Service Standards (PGRS). Conclusion: Storage management at the Nutrition Installation was implemented properly and aligned with PGRS guidelines, although improvements in equipment and inspection procedures are still needed.   Keywords: Nutrition Installation, Storage System, Hospital

Abstract

Introduction: Patient satisfaction reflects the extent to which health services meet or exceed patient expectations in providing comfort and fulfillment. Antenatal Care (ANC) is an essential health service for pregnant women to monitor maternal and fetal well-being. The quality of ANC services received influences patient satisfaction and their willingness to return for follow-up care. This study aims to explore the satisfaction levels of pregnant women regarding ANC services at Medistira 2 Clinic in Bogor. Methods: This study used a qualitative research design with data collected through in-depth interviews. Primary data were obtained from pregnant women attending Medistira 2 Clinic for antenatal check-ups. Secondary data were collected from supporting health personnel, including midwives and non-medical administrative staff. The data gathered were analyzed descriptively to identify themes related to service satisfaction. Results: The findings indicate that the ANC services at Medistira 2 Clinic have not been optimally delivered. Assessment of the five dimensions of service quality showed that four of them were not adequately fulfilled, impacting maternal satisfaction. The Tangible dimension showed issues with the physical environment, particularly the uncomfortable condition of the toilets. In the Responsiveness dimension, scheduling discrepancies between midwives and clinic staff led to delays in service. The Empathy dimension indicated insufficient attention in responding to patient complaints. Additionally, the Assurance dimension was weak, as delivery costs were not covered by BPJS, causing financial concerns for patients. Discussion: ANC services at Medistira 2 Clinic require improvements in key service quality areas to enhance patient satisfaction. Improvements should focus on cleanliness and facility maintenance, adherence to scheduled service hours, better communication and attention to patient needs, and addressing the financial barriers associated with delivery services.
