Abstract

Data security is a crucial aspect of the education system, particularly in the management of school exam question banks. Leakage of exam questions can compromise the integrity of the evaluation process and affect the credibility of educational institutions. To address this challenge, this study designs a web-based application for securing exam question banks by implementing the ElGamal cryptographic algorithm. This algorithm is chosen for its ability to maintain data confidentiality through encryption and decryption processes, as well as its use of distinct public and private keys. The application allows users or teachers to upload exam questions in PDF format, which are then encrypted using the ElGamal algorithm, ensuring that only those with the private key can access the contents. Testing was conducted to ensure that the application's functionalities work properly, from the upload process, encryption, file and private key storage, to the decryption of the exam file. The implementation results show that the system effectively secures exam questions and can be easily accessed by authorized users. With this system, the distribution and storage of exam questions are expected to be more secure, efficient, and confidential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk kotoran ayam dan pupuk organik cair (POC) bawang merah terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sampali, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara pada Juni–Agustus 2024 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kotoran ayam (K) dengan empat taraf: K0 (kontrol), K1 (37,5 g/polibag), K2 (75 g/polibag), dan K3 (112,5 g/polibag). Faktor kedua adalah POC bawang merah (P) dengan taraf P0 (kontrol), P1 (15 ml/L), P2 (30 ml/L), dan P3 (45 ml/L). Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, dan perbedaan nyata diuji dengan DMRT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kotoran ayam dan POC bawang merah, baik secara tunggal maupun kombinasi, memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, bobot buah per plot, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan bobot buah per tanaman. Kombinasi dosis K3P3 (112,5 g pupuk kotoran ayam dan 45 ml POC bawang merah) menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat tertinggi.

Abstract

With the advancement of digital technology, the banking sector—including PT Bank Danamon Indonesia—has begun offering mobile banking services such as D-Bank PRO.This study investigates three key variables that influence user satisfaction with Danamon’s mobile banking services: Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and Attitude Toward Use. Several obstacles to application usage were identified, including the absence of a notification system, uncertainty regarding long-term benefits, and malfunctioning features. A quantitative research method was employed, utilizing an online survey distributed to one hundred D-Bank PRO users. Furthermore, data analysis was conducted using the SPSS software. The results indicate that all TAM variables significantly affect user satisfaction, with PEOU emerging as the most dominant factor. These findings provide strategic guidance for enhancing the quality and usability of mobile banking services to achieve higher user satisfaction.

Abstract

Mustard greens are a horticultural crop that is highly dependent on environmental conditions, particularly weather and soil moisture. Climate irregularities and errors in irrigation management often lead to decreased crop productivity. This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based e-monitoring system capable of detecting weather conditions and soil moisture in real time. This system uses temperature, air humidity, and soil moisture sensors integrated with a microcontroller and Wi-Fi module to transmit data to a web-based monitoring platform or application. Test results show that the system is capable of providing accurate and responsive information to environmental changes, enabling farmers to make informed decisions regarding watering times and plant treatments. With this system, it is hoped that mustard greens productivity can significantly increase through more efficient and data-driven land management.

Abstract

The development of drone technology has had a significant impact on various sectors, including agriculture, security, and environmental monitoring. The Flysurveil drone was developed under the P2MW program as an innovative solution in IoT-based surveillance systems. This study aims to analyze the Flysurveil drone production process and identify technical challenges encountered in its development. The research methods used include literature review, observation, and technical analysis of the components and systems used in drone production. The results show that the Flysurveil drone production process includes several main stages, namely design, component selection, assembly, and testing. The main components used include Arduino and ESP32 microcontrollers, GPS modules, cameras, and brushless motors controlled by ESCs. However, several technical challenges were encountered, such as optimizing battery life, control system stability, and limitations in real-time data communication. This research is expected to provide insights for drone developers in improving production efficiency and the quality of drone-based surveillance systems. In addition, this research also contributes to the development of more adaptive and competitive drone technology in both domestic and global markets.

Abstract

The authenticity of school assignments is crucial for maintaining the objectivity of learning evaluations. However, the practice of having assignments submitted by third parties is still common. This study develops an assignment authenticity verification system based on handwriting analysis using image processing and machine learning approaches. This system utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for visual feature extraction and a Siamese network to measure handwriting similarity. The data used includes the writing of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 060868 Medan Timur and writing from non-students as comparisons. The handwriting images were converted to grayscale, resized to 128x128 pixels, and then processed to generate a one-dimensional feature vector. A similarity score was calculated using Euclidean distance, and if the value is ? 0.75, it is considered a match. This system was built with Python, TensorFlow, and OpenCV, and integrated into web and mobile platforms. Trial results show that the system is capable of automatically verifying assignment authenticity, helping teachers assess more objectively and efficiently, and improving academic transparency.
