Abstract

The ordinary least square method (MKT) is a classic method to estimate parameters in regression modelling. The MKT has classical assumption, where these assumptions must be fulfilled. One of the causes of violation of classical assumptions is the presence of outlier observations. Robust regression is an alternative for correcting parameters in data that indicate outliers. In this article, we apply robust regression using estimation-M in data modelling of infant mortality rates that occur in West Java. Based on the mean squared error (MSE) criterion in the estimation-M, it is obtained that the Huber approach has a lower MSE than Tukey Bisquare. The results of estimation using Huber show that only the low number of births has a significant effect on infant mortality in West Java, with an effect of 2.047.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the development of Database Management Systems (DBMS) explores the important role of storing, managing and accessing data efficiently. This research aims to analyze the DBMS development process using MySQL. Initial planning, where business needs and data requirements are identified. The database structure is then designed by considering normalization and relationships between entities. After installing MySQL, a database is created with a predetermined design. Next, the table is implemented by setting the columns, data types, and primary/foreign keys. User access rights are defined to ensure data security, and functions and stored procedures are implemented to facilitate complex data processing. Indexes are added to improve query performance. Backup and recovery management is an important focus in ensuring data continuity. Application integration is carried out by matching the application interface with the database system using the MySQL API or driver. This research presents a systematic guide for DBMS development using MySQL. Overall, using MySQL as a database management system offers flexibility, high performance and reliable security to support business needs in storing and managing data.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Customer Service Chatbot for Larisma Journal Publisher that can effectively answer questions and reduce response time to questions that are often similar. This research will design a Chatbot system that can facilitate users in interacting and finding information related to journal publishing, by applying Natural Language Processing. This chatbot system uses training data collected from various questions commonly asked by authors to produce accurate information, with data analysis methods involving preprocessing, training and model building. Testing the accuracy of this chatbot was carried out by the designer through a terminal in Google Colab by viewing and assessing the suitability between the questions and the answers generated. The test results state that this chatbot is able to provide effective responses by evaluating answers based on keywords in the chatbot, so as to provide the right answers.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has increased competition in this industry. To retain customers and win the competition, e-commerce platforms need to deeply understand customer needs and wants. One way to understand customer sentiment is to use NLP and sentiment analysis. This research aims to analyze the influence of NLP: Sentiment Analysis in increasing customer satisfaction among e-commerce users: Lazada. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey approach. Data is collected by: Collecting reviews and comments from Lazada customers on platforms and social media. Analyze data using NLP techniques: Sentiment Analysis to identify customer sentiment. Conduct statistical analysis to determine the relationship between customer sentiment and customer satisfaction. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between customer sentiment and Lazada customer satisfaction. Customers who are satisfied with Lazada's services tend to give positive reviews. These positive reviews can help Lazada to understand customer needs and wants. This can be used to improve the quality of Lazada products and services, as well as provide a better customer experience. Here are some of the benefits of NLP: Sentiment Analysis in increasing customer satisfaction: Helping e-commerce players to understand customer needs and desires, helping e-commerce players to identify problems faced by customers, helping e-commerce players to improve the quality of products and services, helping e-commerce players to provide a better customer experience. Therefore, e-commerce players can utilize NLP: Sentiment Analysis to increase customer satisfaction and increase their business competitiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based information system for managing donut sales at Kawan Mamak, in response to the rapid growth of the culinary industry. Using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, this system is designed to meet users' needs in efficiently managing sales data. Analysis of requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance are the main stages in the development of this system. A solid database relationship between customer, sales, and donut variant tables is created to enhance system integration and responsiveness. A cheerful and efficient interface design is expected to improve user experience and positively contribute to the development of information technology in the culinary sector. With a focus on integrated sales management, this system aims to enhance Kawan Mamak's competitiveness by providing effective solutions to optimize the donut sales data recording process.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Barbershop Rama Web-Based Information System, focusing on improving operational efficiency and customer experience in the personal care industry. The Waterfall Method is employed as a structured development approach, involving stages such as needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The implementation results are depicted in use case, activity, and database relation diagrams. The system facilitates customer, service, and appointment management. The web design follows the Laravel framework. The research conclusion includes contributions to software development literature and the potential application of information technology in the personal care industry.

Abstract

Academic information systems are applications designed for the purposes of academic governance systems such as student data, student ratings, KRS systems, transskip values, etc.  By conducting periodic monitoring, it is expected to be corrected when there are complaints or inadequate governance.  The steps taken in the audit process are: 1. planning, 2. field work, 3. reporting 4. follow-up actions.  The research method used is the method of qualitative approach.  By using the calculations of each information technology process available in the domain Delivery and Support (DS) and Monitor, Evaluate and Asses (MEA), so that the entire information technology can reach the desired level. After calculating and rounding the index of processes in the Domain of Delivery, Services and Support (DSS) as well as processes on the domain of Monitoring, Evaluation and Assessment (MEA), it can be seen that there is 1 process with capacity level 4 (predictable), and 7 processes with level 3 capacity (established)

Abstract

In this research, a viability test was carried out to obtain information about the ability of shallots to germinate under certain conditions. The use of hot water in Murashige and Skog media is a way to obtain information on certain conditions. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of hot water immersion temperature and water soaking time on the viability of shallot seeds (Allium cepa L.) on Murashige and Skog media. This research was carried out at the Alifa Agricultural Research Center (AARC) Laboratory. This research used a completely randomized factorial design (RAL) with two factors, the first factor was hot water temperature with 3 levels, namely: S0 = 27 ? C (control), S1 = 45 ? C, S2 = 60 ? C. The second factor is the length of immersion with 3 levels, namely: L0 = 3 seconds (control), L1 = 10 minutes, L2 = 15 minutes, a combination of 9 treatments which were repeated 3 times to obtain 27 experimental units. The number of samples in each experiment was 3, so the total sample was 81. The parameters measured were the percentage of plumule emergence (%), the percentage of radicle emergence (%), the percentage of live explants (%), the percentage of explants contaminated with bacteria (%), the percentage of explants contaminated with fungi (%), the number of shoots (plants), the height of plants (cm), number of leaves and number of roots. The results showed that the observed heat treatment had no significant effect on the observed parameters of the percentage of explants contaminated with bacteria, the percentage of explants contaminated with fungi, and the number of roots. In the long soaking treatment, it was observed that it had a significant effect on the percentage of live explants. The interaction of temperature treatment and soaking time had a significant effect on the percentage of live explants.

Abstract

This study aims to test the performance of an Expert Advisor (EA) based on the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average (MA), and lot optimization on 10 popular forex pairs using a swap-free account. The EA is designed to operate on the MetaTrader 5 platform, utilizing historical data from 2021 to 2024. The study employs a backtesting method to assess EA effectiveness across various market conditions. Results indicate that the EA performs best on lower volatility pairs, such as USDCAD and GBPUSD, showing positive profitability and controlled risk ratios. However, suboptimal performance is observed on high-volatile pairs such as GBPJPY and EURJPY. These findings highlight the importance of tailoring EA strategies to pair volatility characteristics to enhance profitability and risk management.
