Abstract

In this article, we compute Von-Neumann-Jordan constant, James constant, and Dunkl-Williams constant for small Morrey spaces. We find that the three constants are the same as those for the classical Morrey spaces.

Abstract

Generally, finding a solution to a theoretical mathematical modelling problem is equivalent to finding a fixed point for a suitable operator. Accordingly, fixed point theory is therefore a very important and crucial in many areas, such as mathematics, sciences, and engineering. A very popular and important fixed point theory is those formulated by Stefan Banach in 1922. The theory is related to a complete normed space and known as the Banach fixed point theory. Recently there have been numerous generalization of the Banach fixed point theory. One of them is a fixed point theory in modular spaces. In this paper, we will formulate some fixed point theorems in modular spaces by using $C^*$-class functions. The obtained results generalize and improve some results in [Supama, On Some Common Fixed Point Theorems inModulared Spaces, International Mathematical Forum, Vol. 7, no. 52, (2012), 2571 - 2579.].

Abstract

In this survey article, we present an introduction of split feasibility problems, multisets split feasibility problems and split common fixed point problems. Parallel and cyclic algorithms for solving the split common fixed point problems for finite family of strictly pseudocontractive mappings in Hilbert spaces are presented, weak and strong convergence theorems are being proved. Application of the split common fixed point problems and some numerical examples are also presented.

Abstract

The butterfly and the double butterfly theorem are applied to a circle. In this paper, we will modify the double butterfly theorem on an ellipse. The method of proving the double butterfly theorem on an ellipse can be done if Haruki’s lemma can apply to any ellipse. Thus, in this paper will also be given a modified Haruki’s lemma on an ellipse.

Abstract

In this work, we first introduce the quaternion Fourier transform. We explore its relation to the quaternion linear Fourier transform and utilize this fact to extend an inequality for the quaternion Fourier transform in the framework of the quaternion linear canonical transform.

Abstract

This article gives us a relation between Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^n$ and a subspace of $X$ (an $n$-normed space) using properties of determinant of square matrices. Some functionals will be investigated on these spaces. Furthermore, we obtain definition of inner product and $m$-inner product with $m<n$ on the subspace of $X$.

Abstract

The CL-integral is an integral that is defined by using countably Lipschitz condition. The CL-integral is more general than the Lebesgue integral, but it is more specific than Denjoy integral in the wide sense. The Denjoy integral in the wide sense is more general than the Henstock-Kurzweil integral. In this paper, it will be given some conditions such that a CL-integrable function is Henctock-Kurzweil-integrable on [a, b].

Abstract

In this paper, we extend the construction of a Banach Algebra from summable sequences to summable matrices. We also find the representation of the Banach algebra as complex-valued continuous functions defined on a Hausdorff space.

Abstract

In 1999 Marjono has published about the subordinateness of subclass of Bazilevic functions. However, the value of β(γ) is not the largest one. In this paper we present our work with my student Estelita Maria from Universidade Timor Loro Sa’e and Rahmalia Firdausi Tamara to find the largest β(γ). This result was obtain by using the similar way with the theorem before and stressing in optimize approaching and also by using the maximum modulus principles as mention in Remark 1.9. For an analytic, normalized function f such that f(0) = f′(0)−1 = 0, there is a largest number β∗(γ) such that subordination holds for α > 0, 0 < γ ≤ 1 and z ∈ D as an improvement of Marjono’s work.

Abstract

In this article eigenvalues of Laplacian acting on complex star metric graphs is considered. The operator is coupled with Neumann-Kirchhoff vertex condition, implying self adjointness of the operator. We exhibit the invariance of the eigenvalues over the number of the bonds of the star metric graphs. Moreover, the eigenvalues are also invariant over parallel bonds of the star metric multigraphs.
