Diabetes mellitus type II is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas produces enough insulin but the body can not effectively use it. It results from patient’s unhealthy eating habits. High blood sugar on Diabetes mellitus type II patient will trigger complications. The design used in the study was correlational Analytical. The population was patients with type II diabetes mellitus on outpatient installation Baptist Kediri Hospital. Using Accidental Sampling Technique, it was obtained 60 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The independent variables were correct amount diet, schedule, and type. The dependent variable was the fasting blood sugar. The data were collected using structured interviews and observation sheet. Those were analyzed using Multiple Regression tests with significance level α ≤ 0.05. The results showed the right amount of diet has a strong relationship with fasting blood sugar levels (p = 0.000), while the exact schedule of diet does not have a strong relationship with fasting blood sugar levels (p = 0.247), as well as the right kind of diet do not have a strong relationship with fasting blood sugar levels (p = 0.432). The conclusion of this research is no precise relationship of diet pattern, timetables, and types of blood sugar levels of patients with diabetes mellitus type II in the hospital outpatient installation Kediri Baptist Hospital.

Baby’s growth and development is a developmental foundation that will influence and determine growth and development further, so that it is needed skills and the roles of mother for their growth and development as a whole process. The objective is to identify deficiencies or excess of the baby’s development process as early as possible and may provide stimulation holistically to their physic, mental, and social. The design used in this research was correlation. The populations were mother and her baby in out-patient installation Kediri baptist hospital. the samples were 81 respondents using simple random sampling. the independent variable was skill of mother and the dependent variable was growth and development. The data was collected using questionnaire and measurement of weight and height, then analyzed using statistical test of Mann-Whitney with significant level of α ≤ 0,05. The result of this research showed that most of respondent had good skills in early detection and baby’s growth and development, they were 58 respondents (72%). The result statistical test of spearman’s rho was p = 0,003, it meant ha was accepted and ho was rejected. In conclusion of this research that there was Correlation between mother’s skills on early detection of growth and development and baby’s growth and development in out-patient installation Kediri Baptist Hospital.

Development refers to changing pattern which begins in early stage of growth and continues throughout the life span. The lack of mother’s role on children basic needs fulfilment have adverse effects to children development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between mother’s role on children basic needs’ fulfilment toward preschoolers’ development aged 3-6 years old on Baptist Kediri Setia Bakti Kindergarten. The design was Analytical Correlational. The respondents were children aged 3-6 years old and their mothers, using Purposive Sampling Technique, it was obtained 65 respondents. The independent variable was mother’s role on children basic needs’ fulfilment while the dependent variable was preschoolers’ development. The preschoolers’ development consists of fine motoric development, gross motoric, language, social and personal. The data were collected using questionnaires (mother’s role) and DDST (children development). Further, those were analyzed using Spearman Rho Test with significance level α <0.05. The results showed fine motoric development p= 0.001 with coefficient correlation 0.406, gross motoric development p= 0.007 with coefficient correlation of 0.331, language development 0.369 with coefficient correlation of 0.113, social personal development p= 0.001 with coefficient correlation 0.400. In conclusion, mother’s role on children basic needs’ fulfilment had correlation showed fine motoric, gross motoric development, and social personal development toward preschoolers’ development aged 3-6 years old on Baptist Kediri Setia Bakti Kidergarten.

The phenomenon of street children actually have been grown for long time, but today it becomes the world's attention, as long as the increasing number of street children in the big cities around the world. A hard life, the need for independent life, the less attention from the parents, the environment that is not conducive, and the lack of opportunity to school are factors that affect the self-concept on the street child. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between environmental factors and the self concept of street children aged 12-18 years in Kediri city. The design of this study was an analytic cross sectional. The population in this study were all street children in the city of Kediri. The amount of sample that is determined were 30 respondents using quota sampling. The independent variables was the environmental factors and the dependent variable was the self concept. The data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed Mann Whithney statistical test with significance level α <0.05.From the results of data analysis known that street children had not good environment, had not good self-image, have sufficient ideal of self, a good role, the good identity, sufficient of the self-concept. The results of Spearman's Rho statistical tests obtained p = 0.143, so there is no relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. The conclusion is that the environmental factors haven’t relation with the self concept of street children aged 12-18 years in Kediri city, although the street children has a good environment but they have a negative self concept.

Smoking behavior is behavior that harm to health, but many people still do it, even more people start smoking when he was a teenager. Although everyone knows about the dangers caused by smoking, but this has never ended and every moment can be found many people who were smoking and even more smoking behavior has been familiar among teenage boys. The use of substances becomes several factors for young person, so that they become smokers, such as psychological factors, biological factors and environmental factors. The design used in this research was analytic description. The population was male students who living in dormitories of Stikes RS Baptis Kediri who met the inclusion criteria. The samples were 33 respondents using total sampling. The independent variables were psychological factors, biological factors, environmental factors and the dependent variable was smoking behavior. The data were collected by questionnaire, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical test with significance level α ≤ 0.05. The results of this researchshowed that less than 50% of respondents who had less risk of psychological factor and light smoking behavior was 11 respondents (33.3%). The result of statistical test with multiple linear regressions was p = 0.007,howas accepted and ha was rejected, which meant there was the influence of psychological factors on smoking behavior to male students in dormitory of Stikes RS Baptis Kediri. The conclusion of this research showed there was positive verification factors that influence smoking behavior to male students in dormitory of Stikes RS Baptis Kediri namely psychological factor.

Phlebitis is veins wall inflammation which usually occurs on intravenous therapy. It happens due to microorganism’s infection of nurses’ hands of during insertion or infusion’s maintenance. To prevent phlebitis, nurses must perform right intravenous infusion on the Infusion’s SOP at Kediri Baptist Hospital. The design used in this research was correlational. The population were all emergency’s patients at Kediri Baptist Hospital who have been done infusion by emergency room’s nurses. Using Purposive Sampling Technique, it was obtained 68 respondents. The independent variable in this study was nurse obedience in implementing Infusion’s SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) while the dependent variable was phlebitis’ incidence. The collected data were analyzed using contingency coefficient test with significance level α ≤ 0.05. The results showed that the implementing of intravenous infusion by the nurses that was obedient were 88,2% and majority of the patients did not happen phlebitis, were 97,1%. The statistical test of Contingency Coefficient result was p = 0.000. In conclusion, there was a relationship between obedience of Emergency Room nurse in implementing Standard Operating Procedure of infusion insertion toward the incidence of phlebitis at Kediri Baptist Hospital.

Street children is a general term refers to children who have economical activity or life on the street. They still have a relationship with their family even though the families are far away from them. Some factors such as: economical status, educational status, and responsibility for making money cause lack of physiological needs’ fulfillment of street children. The purpose of this research was to study the physiological needs’ fulfillment of street children aged 6-12 years old according to Maslow Hierarchy on Kediri  The design of this research was descriptive. This population was street children in Kediri. Using Quota Sampling, it was obtained 30 street children. The data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed 33.3% of the respondents had lack fulfillment on oxygenation and nutrition. Further, the majority of the respondents or 83.3% had play activities. Moreover, 13.3% of respondents had lack fulfillment on sleep rest pattern. In conclusion, study of street children aged 6-12 years old on Kediri showed that only play activities was properly fulfilled. The study described that 33.3% of the respondents had lack fulfillment on oxygenation and nutrition, 13.3% of respondents had lack fulfillment on sleep rest pattern.

Creativity is a dimension of child ability in developing science, technological, and artistic. Appropriate parent’s care pattern will optimize child’s creativity. The purpose of this research was to analyze correlation between parent’s care patterns and child creativity’s level at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kediri. The research’s design was correlation analytic. The populations were all children and parents at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kediri. Using Total Sampling, it was obtained 132 respondents who fulfilled inclusion criteria. The independent variable was parent’s care patterns while the dependent variable was child creativity’s level. The data were collected by the structure interview and questioners. Those were analyzed using the statistical test of lambda with level of significance Ï = 0.05. The result showed significance Ï = 0,028, it meant Ho refused, so that there was correlation between the level of child’s creativity and parent’s care pattern at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Kelurahan Bangsal Kota Kediri. Authoritative parent’s care pattern optimizes child creativity’s level. Further studies are suggested to analyze the other factors that influence the level of child creativity’s level which is not yet studied in the recent research. Those are age, the parent’s education, the availability of facility, and time spent.

Hypertension can be controlled if it is treated properly from its early stage. However, many hypertensive patients are too late to realize until they experience complication of hypertension. Many things can cause complications of hypertension such as stress. Stress triggers hormonal producing which increase blood pressure and result complications of hypertension. The design of this research was cross sectional in which the independent and dependent variable were assessed simultaneously at one time. The population was hypertensive inpatients at wards Kediri Baptist Hospital that met criteria inclusion. Using Accidental Sampling, it was obtained 29 respondents. The independent variable was stress and the dependent variable was incidence of hypertensive complication. The data were collected using questionnaire and structured observation. Further, the data were analyzed statistically using Chi-Square with significant level α ≤ 0.05. It could be concluded that there was a correlation between stress and incidence of hypertensive complication on adult inpatient wards at Kediri Baptist Hospital.

Elderly age is a person or population aged 60 years and over. Elderly undergo a process of decline of the body functions either biological, psychological and social functions, so that that condition may cause various problems, one of those problem is decreasing function of the body. During suffering illness, elderly patients in hospiritualtal need to get the attention not only on the biological aspect, but also the other aspects. The interventions that can be given to elderly patients in hospiritualtals to achieve the optimal quality of life by giving motivation of healing through spiritual care by the spiritualritual officers. The objective of this research was to analyze the correlation between the role of spiritual care and motivation of healing to elderly patients at Ward Kediri Baptist Hospiritualtal. The design used in this research was cross sectional. The populations were all employees of the spiritual department in hospiritualtal and elderly patients at ward kediri baptist hospiritualtal. The samples were 80 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this research was the role of spiritual care, and the dependent variable was the motivation of healing. The data was collected using observation and questionnaire to elderly patients as respondents, then analyzed using Spearman's Rho test with significance level α ≤ 0,05. The result of this research showed that statistical test of Spearman's Rho got value Ï = 0.000 which means that ho was rejected and ha was accepted with correlation coefficient 0.574. The conclusion of the research, there was the correlation between the role of spiritual care and motivation of healing to elderly patients at Ward Kediri Baptist Hospiritualtal.
