Abstract

Early childhood's ability to work together is vital to building good relationships. Observations at Santa Maria 03 Malang Catholic School show children cannot cooperate properly while playing. This study aims to determine whether the Busa No Manu game affects group B children's ability to cooperate in the Catholic school of Santa Maria 03 Malang. The method used is experimentation with pre-test and post-test designs in one group. The study subjects consisted of 14 children who followed the game of foam No Manu. Data is collected through observations and assessments of cooperative capabilities before and after treatment. Before treatment, the child's average cooperative score was 0.107%, while after playing, the average score increased to 0.115%. Statistical analysis using the t-test showed a p-value < 0.05, indicating a significant improvement in the children's cooperative ability after playing. The results of the research showed that the Busa No Manu game was effective in improving the ability of children to cooperate. The conclusion of the research on the No Manu Foam Game applied to children in group B has a positive influence on children's cooperation skills. Abstract

Early childhood education is essential since this is a delicate time, sometimes called the golden age. It is crucial to promote development through literacy throughout this time. This project aims to provide multimedia-based literacy learning to improve child development. The research uses a pre-experimental design and a quantitative technique, utilising the one-group pretest-posttest method with evaluations for both the pretest and posttest in addition to observation. These evaluations yielded data, which were then subjected to descriptive analysis. The study, which involved 15 students from group A at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 1 Kucur Kindergarten, revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores at a significance level below 0.05. Children's conduct changed noticeably before and after participating in multimedia literacy instruction. Six kids showed reading comprehension at first, whereas nine did not. Three of the nine kids struggled with literacy after the intervention, while the other six made progress. This implies that the development of early childhood reading is positively impacted by multimedia learning.

Abstract

Developing linguistic competence during the formative years is critical for subsequent academic achievement, and targeted interventions can help children realize their maximum abilities. This investigation sought to evaluate the effects of literacy-oriented play activities on the linguistic abilities of children aged 4 to 6 years. The methodological approach employed was quasi-experimental, using a one-group pretest-post-test framework. The demographic focus of the study consisted of kindergarten children, with a purposively selected sample of 30 participants. Findings indicated a statistically significant improvement in the children's language abilities, evidenced by an average pretest score of 63.5 compared to a post-test score of 78.5 (p-value < 0.001). The overarching conclusion derived from this study is that interventions utilizing literacy-based play are efficacious in improving language skills in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of nature-based learning in developing gross motor skills in early childhood. The research method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest design involving two groups: an experimental group undergoing nature-based learning and a control group with conventional methods. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in the mean score of gross motor skills from 19.70 to 26.20 (p < 0.05). In contrast, the control group only showed a small increase with an average change of 1.30 (p < 0.05). This finding indicates that nature-based learning is more effective than conventional methods in supporting early childhood gross motor skill development. The conclusions emphasize the importance of integrating nature-based learning in the early childhood education curriculum to support motor development and other developmental aspects. Further research is recommended to explore different nature-based learning approaches and their impact on holistic child development.
