Abstract

This study aims as a security system for corn plants from Arduino-based pests using a DC to AC inverter with a 220V output as the output, and designing the Arduino Uno microcontroller system to work automatically by using the RTC as a timer, aims to make it easier for corn farmers to operate this equipment. Swine pests are a serious threat to farmers because they can cause crop failure, many farmers are already bothered by the presence of pig pests. The results of this study are a 12 Volt 6 AH battery as a voltage source to provide voltage to the Arduino Uno microcontroller, RTC relay, and inverter circuit as output. The RTC sensor is used as a timer, which disconnects and connects the battery current to the inverter using a 5v dc relay. This tool works at night for 12 hours, from 18.00 to 06.00 in the morning, and from 06.01 to 18.01 the RTC module will actively give a signal to the relay to connect and disconnect the battery voltage current to the inverter. With this tool, it makes it easier for farmers to monitor the safety of the garden corn plants from pests, and no longer need to go to the garden at night for manual installation.

Abstract

This paper reviews the legal protection for insurance policyholders according to Indonesian positive law. This is aimed at increasing our understanding of the concept of insurance and how legal protection is for policyholders for problems with claims for insurance coverage and how the liability of the insurance company as the insurer is towards the insured, namely the policyholder. Insurance policy holders are generally individuals, many of whom are people who are unfamiliar with the law and must be confronted with insurance companies, so based on this it is important for positive law to provide legal protection for insurance policy holders from violations of the law by insurance companies and of course all forms included law violations must be held accountable.

Abstract

Using descriptive qualitative method, this paper collects various references and literary sources regarding tax treaty abuse and policy recommendations that can be implemented to prevent tax treaty abuse, one of which is using Principal Purpose Test (PPT). Besides, this paper also explains Indonesia’s current tax regulations regarding PPT, as well as learns how other country like Australia could implement PPT into its own domestic tax regulations. From our discussion, it can be concluded that Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has recommended a series of policies to prevent tax treaty abuse, i.e. Multilateral Instrument in the form of General Anti-Abuse Rule (GAAR), which include PPT and other optional policies combined like Limitation on Benefit. Through Director General of Taxes Regulation Number PER-25/PJ/2018, Indonesia has actually started to implement PPT into domestic tax regulations, even though it is not as strict and complex as those of Australia, through its tax authority, Australia Tax Office (ATO). ATO, using PSLA 2019/D2, has also implemented step-by-step procedures to handle cases indicated to be related with tax treaty abuse

Abstract

Until now, the capital city of Indonesia is the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI Jakarta). Jakarta as the capital is the center of everything that makes Jakarta a big burden as the capital of Indonesia. President Joko Widodo moved the capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan under the name "Nusantara" as a form of representation of Indonesia's development. Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning State Capitals (UU IKN) was created, on January 18, 2022. However, this law experienced various problems due to the haste to ratify the IKN Law. The IKN Law is inconsistent with the 1945 Constitution and laws that are equivalent to the IKN Law do not involve the community's right to participate and obtain information from the government as their responsibility. As a result of the problems experienced in the UU IKN, this law must be corrected in detail and completely so that the UU IKN gets legal certainty and the IKN development process goes according to the goals of the state and nation. By considering every voice of the Indonesian people which is their right to build a prosperous country

Abstract

An understanding of Imago Dei is important to build the behavior of students at Sungai Hidup Junior High School, Pinoh Selatan District, West Kalimantan, which still has a bad record of violating school rules. This research provides benefits for educators to consistently live and teach the values ??of biblical truth contained in teaching about Imago Dei so that it can have a more significant impact on behavior change for students. The results showed, first, that the effect of understanding Imago Dei on changes in student behavior is still in the "moderate" category and needs to be improved by implementing it into a school curriculum based on Christian character education. Second, the understanding of being created in the image of God is still positively correlated with student behavior in the "moderate to high" category, although it is not a sub-variable (X1) that dominantly influences student behavior, it still needs to be considered and maintained. Third, the understanding of being created in the likeness of God is a sub-variable (X2) that dominantly influences student behavior. For this reason, educators need to put forward teaching attitudes and behavior toward students

Abstract

Compression Spring is one of standard components type that are widely used in machinery construction, as well as in mold construction that serves to restore the position of the ejector mould into position. This study aims to find alternative materials for standard compression spring using specimen test of low carbon steel St 37 in the form of a compression spring is made by using coiling process followed to heat treatment processes such as pack carburizing, hardening, quenching and tempering. To ensure the quality process, the tests should be done in the laboratory such us the hardness test, the distribution of hardness, microstructure and deflection of the spring test. The pack carburizing is done at a temperature of 925ºC with a holding time of 2.5 hours, followed by a case hardening process at a temperature of 870ºC with a holding time of 12.5 minute and quenched on medium oil and tempered at a temperature of 350ºC. The results of this research show that the method used to generate the average value of 456.57 HV and have ? – martensite microstructure and also the compression spring deflection average value of 18.625 N/mm on 613.9 N. Those data approaches the compression spring standard value of hardness, microstructure and deflection. Based on the data analysis, low carbon steel St 37 can be used as alternative material for standard compression spring.

Abstract

This study discusses local autonomy in the context of local regulation. Based on the 2014 Law No. 23 on Local Governments, Article 1, Paragraph 6, local governments are defined as the execution of administrative affairs by local governments based on the principle of local autonomy. Regional autonomy is the right, authority and duty of autonomous regions to regulate and control their own government affairs and the interests of their communities within the unitary national system of the Republic of Indonesia. Regional chiefs are empowered to organize and control the affairs of their regional governments, but must still take precedence over national law. One way to promote local autonomy in governance is to require a system that can implement democratic principles that provide opportunities for citizens to participate in state government. This discussion describes how the role of local regulation has emerged and how it affects central governments in maintaining local autonomy practices.

Abstract

Everyone is part of society who has the same rights, obligations and roles in environmental management. The foundation of the constitution has also provided guarantees listed in Article 28H paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The involvement and role of the community was then reaffirmed in Law no. 32 of 2009 concerning the Protection and Management of the Environment, in Article 70. There are several aspects of law enforcement carried out in the environmental field. Law enforcement in the environmental field can be classified into 3 (three) categories, namely Administrative or State Administration environmental law enforcement, Civil environmental law enforcement and Criminal environmental law enforcement. Even though the Government has issued regulations regarding environmental law enforcement that have been planned in a directed manner, there are still many obstacles and obstacles encountered in implementation in the field. Obstacles and obstacles in enforcing environmental law in Indonesia are due to the government's lack of attention to problems that arise in society regarding enforcing environmental law related to the lack of outreach to the public regarding environmental law, not to mention the lack of awareness from the public of the importance of environmental management, as well as a legal culture that is still poor in budget management for the environmental sector.
