Abstract

In personality tests, a psychologist not only focuses on the assessment process and data processing but also determines the test conclusions and determines the treatment for their clients. The assessment process is often handed over to assistants so that psychologists can focus more on doing more important things. To replace the role of psychologists in conducting assessments or the same and repetitive work, an expert system is needed. Psychologists will delegate their work to a computer system to support their work so that they will focus on more essential things, thereby helping to reduce the risk of error. One of the most popular methods for personality testing is the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) to find the potential and weaknesses of each client so that psychologists can focus on developing potential and improving client weaknesses. MBTI will be entered into the expert system as a knowledge base. In finding answers, the inference engine will track by matching knowledge-based rules with facts in the database using the forward chaining method. And as a result, the software that has been built can be used to analyze personality tests. The information generated helps psychologists to analyze human personality tests and be more efficient in dealing with client problems. Clients are also able to conduct independent tests to identify their own weaknesses and strengths, so that the development suggestions provided by the system can be used as a guide in suppressing their negative side and maximizing their positive side.

Abstract

Internship is a process to apply the knowledge or competencies acquired during the academic period directly in the working environment. The Information Systems Program at PGRI Kanjuruhan University Malang is one of the programs that require all students to take Internship courses. The effective implementation of an internship program requires a solution that can provide timely monitoring and reporting, as well as transparency regarding the internship activities of students. Based on these issues, an Internship Monitoring Information System is designed to address these problems in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing internship program activities. This Internship Monitoring System is built using ­­the CodeIgniter Framework and follows the Prototyping development model. From the research results, an application in the form of an Internship Monitoring Information System is generated, which can monitor students' internship activities. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) with an overall average score of 93.17% indicate that the designed Internship Monitoring System can assist in managing the internship program in the Information Systems Program at UNIKAMA.

Abstract

The Solutive company is currently facing several issues in its sales process, including time-consuming transactions that are still conducted directly at the office and manual record-keeping using Microsoft Excel, which complicates sales data coordination. The aim of this research is to use the waterfall method to develop a sales information system for social media services at Solutive, with the goal of facilitating customer transactions and providing a sales reporting system for Solutive's Social Media Management services. Based on the research conducted, a UAT application test was performed, divided into three assessment criteria, with the system aspect achieving a percentage of 89.75%, the user aspect obtaining a percentage of 91.33%, and the interaction aspect reaching a percentage of 92.91%. The average percentage of the UAT test reached 91.33%. From the results of the UAT test, it can be concluded that the performance of the Solutive company's Social Media Management Service Sales Information System is rated as very good.

Abstract

Abstract. Inventory management at Sukun District Office, Malang City. Currently, the process is done manually by recording goods using a master book and then inputting them back into the Microsoft Excel application by the district admin. This is inefficient because it is prone to data loss, difficulty in finding information, and takes a long time to make reports. The purpose of this study is to design a web-based inventory information system using the rapid application development (RAD) model at the Sukun District Office so that it can facilitate the process of data processing and monitoring inventory reports. This system is able to facilitate actors in implementing a more efficient and effective inventory system. Based on the user acceptance test (UAT) conducted, the results were 93% and it can be stated that the inventory information system is in accordance with system needs.

Abstract

Students often face various complaints in finding boarding houses, ranging from unaffordable prices and limited availability to less than ideal boarding house conditions and locations far from campus or public facilities. Meanwhile, as a boarding house owner, it is also not easy to market boarding houses to compete with other boarding houses that may have lower operating costs or more modern facilities. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based information system that provides complete information about boarding houses, as well as increasing efficiency and effectiveness in promoting and managing boarding houses. In the context of software development, the Waterfall method has proven to be one of the structured and systematic approaches. This method follows the following stages: Requirement Analysis and Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and unit testing, Integration and System Testing, and Operation and Maintenance. The end result of each stage of this development is a system that is able to meet user needs to find boarding houses easily and quickly, and helps boarding house owners manage tenant and room data. This system has been designed with a user-friendly interface and is equipped with relevant features, such as searching by location, facilities, and price. This development process has also produced various findings and suggestions for future system development, such as integration with digital maps, mobile application development, and improving security features.

Abstract

SMPN 1 Kejayan uses the Microsoft Excel Macro application to support the school order process. In this application, it was found that there is no database system that can store all data for each school year. The absence of a database system that is able to store all data for each school year, the lack of connection between one data and another automatically hampers the administrative process and monitoring of student discipline, prone to data input errors, and inaccurate report data. Another problem is experienced by parents who do not know the progress of their children's order at school and letters that are still in hardcopy are sometimes not submitted by students to their parents, causing misunderstandings between parents and counseling teachers. Based on these problems, a web-based application was developed. into a web-based application with Whatsapp API technology. This order application was built using the codeigniter framework and using the Waterfall development model. From the results of research and testing that has been carried out on applications using User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results in an overall average of 86.84%, indicating that the order application that has been designed can help the administrative process and monitoring of the order at SMPN 1 Kejayan.

Abstract

Abstract. The school attendance system is the process of recording attendance during teaching and learning activities. Every school has an attendance system, including SMP Taman Petani dan Nelayan (TPN) Sendang Biru. At SMP TPN Sendang Biru, the student attendance system currently uses a manual method, where names are called one by one at the beginning of each class. This method is prone to errors and allows students to skip classes unnoticed. To address this issue, a QR Code-based attendance system with WhatsApp notifications is proposed. At the beginning of each lesson, students scan a QR Code generated by the teacher, and their attendance data is automatically recorded while simultaneously sending a real-time notification to parents. This system is expected to streamline the attendance process and improve student attendance monitoring at SMP TPN Sendang Biru.The objective of this study is to develop a Web-Based Student Attendance Information System Using QR Code and WhatsApp Notifications at SMP TPN Sendang Biru. This system is developed using the waterfall model, which consists of five main stages: requirement analysis, system design, coding, program testing, and implementation.The research results in an application the Student Attendance Information System, which can effectively monitor student attendance at school. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) results, with an average overall score of 84.73%, indicate that the designed system successfully supports attendance management at SMP TPN Sendang Biru.
