Journal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific is an open-access medium for publishing scientific articles containing research results in the field of electrical engineering and electronics engineering. Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific aims to provide researchers and scientists with a platform to publish their research papers and disseminate their knowledge on electrical engineering and technology globally. Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific also wish to offer a free access platform to promote the dissemination of research results on electrical engineering and technology information to more varied and extensive readers. To maintain quality, papers submitted to this journal will be checked for plagiarism and peer-reviewed. This journal is managed by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Universitas Harapan Medan and is published twice a year in January and July. Jurnal of Telecommunication and Electrical Scientific publishes papers within scopes of Electronics Engineering / Power Electronics, Telecommunication / Networking & Data communication, Electrical Engineering / Power System / Power Quality Instrumentation and Control System, Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy / Conversion Energy, Internet of Things / Images Processing, Microcontroller / Robotics / Mechatronics / Embedded System, Biomedical Engineering, Informatics Engineering. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars with relevant disciplines. Abstract

Turbin air merupakan suatu peralatan konversi energi fluida kerja air dan salah satu jenis turbin air diantaranya adalah turbin pelton. Turbin pelton adalah jenis turbin air yang digunakan pada tinggi jatuh air yang besar dikarenakan jenis turbin ini menggunakan nosel hingga menghasilkan energi listrik yang besar pula. Dalam mencapai performa kinerja dari turbin pelton, sudu mempunyai peranan penting dikarenakan pemanfaatan energi air yang di tembakkan Nosel ke titik lingkaran tusuk ini dilakukan dua kali, yang pertama energi pancaran air pada sudu-sudu pada saat air mulai masuk, dan yang kedua adalah daya dorong air pada sudu-sudu saat air akan meninggalkan runner. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan umumnya untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah sudu terhadap unjuk kerja Turbin Pelton. Adapun tujuan khususnya (1) Mendapatkan nilai torsi yang terjadi pada poros. (2) Menghitung daya yang dihasilkan kerja Turbin. (3) Menganalisa nilai efisiensi dari kerjaTurbin. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung daya turbin adalah dengan cara membaca pergerakan pertambahan beban yang terjadi setelah turbin berputar. Sebelum turbin berputar beban dihitung dulu berat awalnya. kemudian setalah turbin berputar catat pertambahan berat beban. Dan lakukan pengamatan kecepatan putar turbin saat poros berputar. Pada hasil pengujian optimal pada jumlah 20 Bucket dengan putaran = 583,1 Rpm, Daya = 55,53 Watt , Torsi = 13,53 Nm dan Efisiensi = 1,43 %.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the manufacturing sector demands the integration of efficient and responsive robotic systems. This study aims to analyze the performance of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based 3-Degree of Freedom (DOF) robotic arm, focusing on latency testing and payload variations. Conducted at the UMSU Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, the research utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the central processing unit and the Blynk platform as the wireless control interface. The robot's physical structure was fabricated using 3D printing technology, while joint actuation is powered by MG996R servo motors with an 11 kg/cm torque capacity. Electrical parameters were measured using a Fluke 17B+ digital multimeter to precisely monitor current consumption. Performance evaluation encompasses a multi-parameter analysis integrating information technology aspects, such as IoT network latency, with mechanical aspects including payload variations (15g, 35g, and 50g) and pick-and-place operational success. The IoT-based 3-DOF robotic arm control system was successfully implemented. The robot responded to commands within 0.5–0.9 seconds on a stable network. Performance is highly dependent on Wi-Fi signal quality, with latency increasing to >1 second at extended distances or when obstructed.
