Abstract

Social work helps individuals, groups/communities and society to overcome their problems and carry out their social functions. One of the Tri Dharmas of Higher Education is Community Service, in carrying out this service it is hoped that you will be able to contribute to society by paying attention to the needs of the community itself. This service is supported by the Social Welfare Study Program which invites STISIPOL Candradimuka students to be sensitive to environmental conditions, be able to collaborate between students and the community and be able to apply the theories they have learned in society. Service methods include Focus Group Discussion, Motivation, and Skills Guidance which is carried out for 25 days. Social welfare services include Religious Social Mental Guidance Activities, Massage Guidance, Music Arts Skills Guidance, Braille Computer Guidance, Culinary Skills Guidance and Sports Activities. In general, the service activities carried out at UPTD PSRD-Sensorik for approximately 1 month can be carried out well.

Abstract

Problems among teenagers are increasing, one of the reasons is the lack of education between parents, guardians and teenagers regarding sexuality. Parents or guardians are the main access for people with disabilities to obtain information and education before entering the school environment. The aim of this community service activity is to increase knowledge and be sensitive to field conditions if problems of sexual harassment, sexual violence, and so on occur. The method used in this activity is a Forum Group Discussion, discussion with exchange of ideas, provision of material and religious lectures. The results of the activities obtained increased the knowledge of parents and teenagers with disabilities about sexuality and juvenile delinquency which must be avoided and controlled. The expected long-term impact is that children and teenagers with disabilities will be able to realize the importance of taking care of themselves, controlling themselves and developing themselves by increasing their knowledge.

Abstract

Community service activities use counseling and outreach methods, with the target participants being the elderly group. Posyandu counseling and healthy exercise for the elderly have been carried out at RT 13 Talang Kelapa Hamlet for 5 (five) days. The results of the service activities, namely posyandu counseling, were attended by 21 (twenty one) participants from the elderly group, and health workers from the Community Health Center. This activity consists of a discussion about the importance of health care for the elderly and free health checks. Furthermore, there are healthy exercise activities for the elderly which provide benefits for the health of the elderly, including improving the health of the heart and cardiovascular system, increasing physical fitness, reducing the risk of chronic disease, improving mental and emotional health for the elderly, improving the quality of life of the elderly, and improving the social relations of the elderly with others.

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of blacksmith marketing strategy training aim to increase production and marketing so as to encourage increased welfare of the people of Mandi Angin Village. The strategy used is to utilize digital platforms such as social media Instagram, Facebook and Shopee to market the product. Of course, it is supported by a unique design to attract customers to get to know and buy blacksmith products. Furthermore, the results of the training that has been carried out have had a positive impact on craftsmen, namely increasing their knowledge and skills, thereby encouraging them to be able to innovate and introduce their products to the wider community through social media and the marketplace.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities is to provide education to the community regarding the importance of a healthy, beautiful and clean environment. Environmental cleanliness is the main key in maintaining health. The implementing method for this activity uses socialization and social action. The activity is carried out for one week starting from observation, licensing, implementation, closing the activity, and making a report. The results of service activities provide a positive influence on the surrounding community, namely having an awareness of protecting the environment and implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, a clean environment and good sanitation will help prevent the spread of infectious diseases and create a safe and comfortable environment for children.
