Abstract

Madrasah is a place for the formation of effective outcomes that have integrity with adequate and well-organized resources. The purpose of this article is to understand the problems of students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pesantren Ilmu Al-Qur’an (MTs PIQ) Singosari District, Malang Regency. This article uses a qualitative approach and a case study type of field research. The results of the research show that: First, the problems of students at MTs PIQ include difficulty understanding the lesson material, not having an effective memorization strategy, lacking motivation to compete and often being late for class. Meanwhile, the solutions implemented are: holding outing class activities, designing learning tools, improving student management in class as well as improving facilities and increasing student discipline. Second, students at MTs PIQ have supporting factors in the form of a 24-hour learning system, financial support and extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are small classrooms and students who are difficult to control. Madrasah merupakan tempat pembentukan luaran yang efektif yang memiliki integritas dengan sumber daya yang memadai dan terorganisasi dengan baik. Tujuan artikel ini memahami problem peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pesantren Ilmu Al-Qur’an (MTs PIQ) Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang. Artikel ini merupakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian lapangan yang bersifat studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, problem peserta didik di MTs PIQ antara lain kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran, belum memiliki stategi hafalan yang efektif, kurang memiliki motivasi berkompetisi dan sering terlambat masuk kelas. Sedangkan solusi yang dilakukan adalah: mengadakan kegiatan outing class, mendesain perangkat pembelajaran, perbaikan pengelolaan peserta didik di kelas serta pembenahan sarana dan peningkatan kedisiplinan peserta didik. Kedua, peserta didik di MTs PIQ memiliki faktor pendukung berupa sistem pembelajaran 24 jam, dukungan dana bantuan dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah ruang kelas yang kecil dan peserta didik sulit dikendalikan. Kata Kunci: Problematika, Peserta Didik, Pembelajaran, MTs.

Abstract

The awareness of the importance of moral values is inherently present in everyone. However, it is often underestimated, indirectly creating a perspective that normalizes misbehavior among students. Therefore, the role of Islamic educational institutions becomes one of the solutions in addressing this issue. Similarly, SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School in Malang Regency has designed moral education within the Hidayatullah Scout Movement (GPH). This research aims to explain the process, values, and implications derived from the internalization of moral education values through GPH. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method by interview techniques with relevant parties, observations at the research location, and reviews of supporting documents. The research findings indicate that the process of internalizing moral education values through the Hidayatullah Scout Movement (GPH) at SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School in Malang Regency is carried out through three stages: values transformation by guidance, values transaction by habituation, and values transinternalization by moral change. Internalized moral values ​​include ethics towards Allah SWT, oneself, and others. This program impacts the students, leading to changes in several aspects such as worship, discipline, and manners. Kesadaran terkait pentingnya nilai akhlak sejatinya ada pada semua orang, namun seringkali dianggap remeh dan secara tidak langsung menciptakan sebuah prespektif untuk menormalisasikan kenakalan dikalangan siswa. Maka, kehadiran peran lembaga pendidikan Islam menjadi salah satu solusi dalam menghadapi hal tersebut. Sama halnya dengan SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School Kabupaten Malang yang merancang pendidikan akhlak di dalam Gerakan Pandu Hidayatullah (GPH). Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses, nilai-nilai hingga implikasi yang didapat dari internalisasi nilai pendidikan akhlak melalui GPH. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskrisptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap pihak terkait, observasi pada lokasi penelitian dan telaah dokumen penunjang lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses internalisasi nilai pendidikan akhlak melalui Gerakan Pandu Hidayatullah (GPH) di SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School Kabupaten Malang dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu transformasi nilai dengan pembinaan; transaksi nilai dengan pembiasaan; dan transinternalisasi nilai dengan perubahan. Nilai akhlak yang diinternalisasikan meliputi akhlak kepada Allah SWT, diri sendiri dan orang lain. Sedangkan implikasi dari program GPH adalah perubahan akhlak pada diri siswi, seperti ibadah, kedisiplinan hingga adab. Abstract

This article discusses the Qur’an Reading Development (Bina Baca Qur’an or BBQ) Program at MTs Surya Buana Malang which acts as an integral means of religious character education, with a focus on increasing understanding of religion, forming good habits and supporting the development of students' religious character. Through the BBQ Program, students are expected to be able to internalize religious character values. BBQ programs are often accompanied by reflection activities and discussions about the values ​​taught in the Holy Qur’an, which helps students to relate these values ​​to everyday life. The type of research is descriptive qualitative and field research. The data collection methods are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are: First, coaching for Al-Qur'an learning through the BBQ Program in the form of coaching for Tahsin, Tajwid, Tahfizh and group patterns. Second, the method of instilling religious character in students through the BBQ Program is a method of habituation, example, advice and reward and punishment. Artikel ini membahas tentang Program Bina Baca Qur’an (BBQ) di MTs Surya Buana Malang yang berperan sebagai sarana integral dalam pendidikan karakter religius, dengan fokus pada peningkatan pemahaman agama, pembentukan kebiasaan baik dan mendukung perkembangan karakter religius peserta didik. Melalui Program BBQ, peserta didik diharapkan dapat menginternalisasi nilai-nilai karakter religius. Program BBQ seringkali disertai dengan kegiatan refleksi dan diskusi tentang nilai-nilai yang diajarkan dalam Al-Qur’an, yang membantu peserta didik untuk mengaitkan nilai-nilai tersebut dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan jenis penelitian lapangan. Metode pengumpulan datanya adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah: Pertama, pembinaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an melalui Program BBQ berupa pembinaan Tahsin, Tajwid, Tahfizh dan pola berkelompok. Kedua, Metode penanaman karakter religius peserta didik melalui Program BBQ adalah metode pembiasaan, keteladanan, nasihat serta reward and punishment. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Karakter Religius, Bina Baca Qur’an (BBQ), MTs Surya Buana.

Abstract

This article discusses the Research and Development (R&D) method in Islamic education. R&D is a systematic process for developing and validating new products or programs or improving existing ones. In Islamic education, R&D is used to develop various Islamic educational products or programs, such as curriculum, teaching methods, learning materials, and training programs. This article explains the characteristics, models, and stages of R&D in Islamic education. The attributes of R&D include being structured and systematic, focusing on problem-solving, and having a value of benefit. The R&D models that can be used in Islamic education include the Borg and Gall Development Model, the Plomp Model, the ADDIE Development Model, the Sadiman Development Model, and the Dick and Carey Development Model. The stages of R&D according to Borg & Gall (1983) consist of (1) Research and Information Gathering, (2) Planning, (3) Developing the Initial Form of the Product, (4) Preliminary Field Test, (5) Revising the Main Product, (6) Main Field Test, (7) Revising the Operational Product, (8) Operational Field Test, (9) Revising the Final Product, and (10) Dissemination and Implementation. This research concludes that the R&D method is important in the development of Islamic education. R&D can help improve the quality of learning by producing effective and efficient educational products and programs. Artikel ini membahas tentang metode Research and Development (R&D) dalam pendidikan Islam. R&D adalah proses sistematis untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk atau program baru atau menyempurnakan produk atau program yang sudah ada. Dalam pendidikan Islam, R&D digunakan untuk mengembangkan berbagai produk atau program pendidikan Islam, seperti kurikulum, metode pengajaran, materi pembelajaran, dan program pelatihan. Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang karakteristik, model, dan tahapan R&D dalam pendidikan Islam. Ciri khas R&D antara lain terstruktur dan sistematis, fokus pada pemecahan masalah, dan memiliki nilai manfaat. Model R&D yang dapat digunakan dalam pendidikan Islam antara lain Model Borg & Gall, Model Plomp, Model ADDIE, Model Sadiman, dan Model Dick and Carey. Tahapan R&D menurut Borg & Gall (1983) terdiri atas: (1) Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Informasi, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan Bentuk Awal Produk, (4) Uji Lapangan Pendahuluan, (5) Revisi Produk Utama, (6) Uji Lapangan Utama, (7) Revisi Produk Operasional, (8) Uji Lapangan Operasional, (9) Revisi Produk Akhir, dan (10) Sosialisasi dan Implementasi. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode R&D penting dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam. R&D dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan menghasilkan produk dan program pendidikan yang efektif dan efisien. Kata Kunci: Metode, Research and Development, R&D, Pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to analyze how the concept of integration of Islam and science at PTKI (Islamic university) and (2) to analyze the model of the paradigm of science and integrative education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This study uses a library research type. The results of this study are: (1) The concept of integration of Islam with science (and technology) is an effort to develop one modern science in a particular field that is based on the foundation of divine awareness and the values ​​of Islamic teachings (belief, morals, worship, muamalah). (2) The integrative scientific paradigm at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is an integrative scientific paradigm between sciences sourced from the Qur’an and Hadith (verses of Qauliyyah) with sciences from the results of observation, experiments, and logical reasoning (verses of Kauniyyah). The integrative education model at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is the integration of higher education institutions (as a place for sowing science) with Ma’had Aly (as a place for sowing Islam) and the integration of Islamic and scientific knowledge in the form of courses in each faculty. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) untuk menganalisis bagaimana konsep integrasi Islam dan sain di PTKI; (2) untuk menganalisis model paradigma keilmuan dan pendidikan integratif di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pustaka. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini: (1) Konsep integrasi Islam dengan sains (dan teknologi) yaitu sebagai upaya dalam mengembangkan satu keilmuan sains modern di bidang tertentu yang dilandasi pondasi kesadaran ketuhanan dan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam (akidah, akhlak, ibadah, muamalah); (2) Paradigma keilmuan integratif yang ada di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang merupakan paradigma keilmuan integratif antara ilmu-ilmu yang bersumber Al-Qur’an dan Hadis (Ayat-ayat Qauliyyah) dengan ilmu-ilmu dari hasil observasi, eksperimen, maupun penalaran logis (ayat-ayat Kauniyyah). Adapun model pendidikan integratif yang ada di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang yaitu integrasi kelembagaan pendidikan tinggi (sebagai wadah penyemai sains) dengan Ma’had Aly (sebagai wadah penyemai Islam) dan integrasi keilmuan Islam dan sains yang berbentuk matakuliah di masing-masing fakultas. Kata Kunci: Integrasi, Islam, Sains, Pendidikan Integratif.
