Abstract

This study raises two issues, namely the legal aspects of illegal racing within the jurisdiction of the Ngawi resort police according to Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and to find out the efforts of the Ngawi resort police in controlling illegal racing in Ngawi district. The legal aspects of illegal racing within the jurisdiction of the Ngawi resort police according to Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation are regulated in several articles including Article 21 concerning vehicle speed, Article 115 concerning the prohibition of speeding, Article 229 concerning traffic accidents, Article 235 and Article 310 concerning traffic crimes. The existence of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning road transport traffic has a crucial and strategic role in supporting the joint commitment to tackling illegal racing among the community because there have been several cases of illegal racing in Ngawi regency. Controlling wild racing in the district Ngawi was attempted by the police Ngawi in humanist ways. The first is Friday chat. Polres Ngawi in a proactive manner carry out Friday Chat which is provided container Polres Ngawi for listening and accommodating various societal complaints, mainly in a matter of wild racing information. Another effort is to carry out a patrol. Polres Ngawi also gives penalty ticket and withhold the wild racing participants’ vehicle. Polres Ngawi made the arrested participants do sports activities as punishment and also contacted their families to pick them up at a time according to the given instructions. The perpetrator of racing needs to more strictly supervise their children.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the legal protection for children as victims of violence according to Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection and to determine judges' considerations in imposing crimes on cases of violence against children in Decision Number 253/Pid. Sus / 2021 / PN Jap. The results of this study are cases of violence that caused death in Criminal Decision Number 253/ Pid. Sus /2021/PN Jap, so it can be seen that there is a denial of Article 26 paragraph 1 of the UUPA, that parents have a responsibility to their children to care for, care for, educate and protect children. The judge's considerations in imposing a sentence are divided into two matters, namely juridical concerns and non-juridical considerations. Juridical considerations are based first on the prosecution's indictment, testimony, witness statements, evidence, and articles in criminal law, namely Article 76C RI Law NO.35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. While the non-juridical considerations are related to mitigating and aggravating circumstances, namely, the aggravating circumstances of the defendants are the defendants' actions resulting in the child's death and the defendant is the child's biological father (victim). Meanwhile, the mitigating circumstances were that the defendant admitted his actions and was polite in court. Suggestions in this study are that the central government, regional governments, and other state institutions related to child protection (KPAI) must carry out good supervision to carry out socialization regarding all provisions of laws and regulations relating to child protection. Repeated violence should be carried out viciously as an aggravating circumstance to sentence Rubenson to a maximum of 15 years in prison under the provisions of Article 80 paragraph (3) of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection.

Abstract

One example of a novel with the theme of feminism is "Lebih Senyap Dari Bisikan (More Silent Than a Whisper)" by Andina Dwifatma. This study examines how the concept of motherhood and Amara's image as a mother are depicted from the physical, psychological, and social aspects in the novel "Lebih Senyap Dari Bisikan" by Andina Dwifatma. There are 9 research data in the form of quotations which include 26 sentences consisting of 8 sentences describing the concept of "motherhood", and 18 sentences describing the image of Amara's character as a mother from physical, psychological, and social aspects. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative accompanied by the analysis of Culler's feminist literary criticism, namely "Reading as a Woman". The results showed that many sentences depicted the concept of motherhood and that the main female character, Amara, was imaged more in the psychological and social aspects during childcare than during her pregnancy, and experienced more problems related to psychological and social relationships with people around her. In addition, Amara is also portrayed as a mother in the physical aspect but with low intensity in caring for the child she gave birth to.

This research explores the transformative potential of gender-focused agricultural extension programs in empowering female farmers and advancing sustainable agricultural practices. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, drawing insights from existing literature and combining quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover the multifaceted impact of these interventions. The findings underscore a notable enhancement in women's agency and participation, underlining the importance of promoting gender equality within the agricultural sector. Empowered female farmers exhibit a proclivity towards sustainable farming practices, contributing to environmental sustainability through the adoption of eco-friendly techniques. Economic empowerment emerges as a key outcome, as empowered women experience improved livelihoods and income, ultimately leading to poverty reduction and socio-economic development within their communities. The research findings have direct policy implications, highlighting the necessity of gender-sensitive policies, equitable resource allocation, and the removal of legal and policy barriers to ensure sustained empowerment. These comprehensive insights serve as a valuable resource for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers aiming to advance gender equality, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic development within the agricultural domain.
