Abstract

Abstract: Terrorism is a criminal act of serious crime, because it can cause mental terror and undermine the sovereignty of a country. Acts of terror will usually threaten the lives of mankind, such as; bombing, hijacking to kidnapping and murder. This heinous act is related to a purpose, namely to win the interests of the group that is wrapped in the ideological coercion in it. This study wants to see the construction of terrorism representations from online media in Indonesia during the Covid 19 pandemic. It is so interesting to see how terrorists are depicted in this pandemic era. The theory used in this study is content analysis and is more of a framing model that seeks to frame existing phenomena. The research methodology using the Gamson and Modigliani framing model from 2.030,000 data was filtered into 300 narrative data. The findings first state that terrorism during a pandemic is so terrible, especially since it is known that the Covid-19 pandemic has made the country's economy slump and has made the ideology of terrorism vulnerable to entry into society. The two conditions that are safe and peaceful from terrorism and radicalism are the success of the police officers making arrests for prevention, not law enforcement. Third, the distribution of aid funds is prioritized for victims and prisoners, which is a form of high concern for the authorities for terrorist perpetrators and victims. Fourth, there has been a terrorist fundraising in various forms of religious activities so that it is completely obscure. Finally, fifth, it is recognized that the war on terrorism and radicalism is more targeted at the digital crime world war through social media. Therefore, such hoaxes and hate speech need to be monitored in order to understand the movements and work operations of the perpetrators of terrorism and radicalism.

Abstract

As the number of patients infected with COVID-19 spread across the country, President Joko Widodo called on the public to temporarily work, study and worship at home. With the policy to carry out all activities at home during this pandemic, there are things that can be discussed by looking at family interactions as a result of this policy. One of them is that parents finally have to accompany their children to school at home The research problem that the researcher raises is how parental interpersonal communication motivates online school children during the covid-19 pandemic and how the obstacles that occur when motivating online school children. This research is descriptive qualitative with qualitative research theory. The data collection method used is the data collection technique used is Observation, Interview, Documentation and Literacy Review. From the results of research in the field, during the interpersonal communication process in motivating online school children, there are components of effective interpersonal communication including openness, empathy, support, positivity, and equality. In addition, parents also give gifts to their children if their children get good grades. Interpersonal communication barriers that occur when parents motivate their children are situational barriers.

Abstract

After explaining the background of the problems that exist in this study with the title Marketing Communication Strategy in increasing Product Sales of PT. Profilia Indotech in Tangerang Pandemic Period. In a study conducted to find out what marketing communication strategies are used to increase sales during the Covid-19 pandemic. And in this study using two theories of Philip Kotler, Terence A Shimp and the type of research used qualitative methods, using the constructivism paradigm, and research results that can be carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, and using two data sources, namely primary and secondary data. The results of this research that PT. Profilia Indotech to carry out a communication strategy in increasing product sales during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely by selling by distributing brochures, providing discount prices, and also doing door to door. In carrying out a marketing strategy like this to increase sales during the current pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: The interaction relationship between social movements and mass media is not a simple thing but very complex to just define. Social movements need means to make their voices heard and their activities visible. So to show the wider community, social movements need mass media. As for the media, they have different ways of dealing with social movements because of the different orientations between the two. Social movements aim to make the public believe in their ideology while the media is oriented towards economic gain. By taking 3 (three) cases that became trending topics in the 4th quarter of 2021, this paper analyzes the interaction relationship between social movements and mass media in these 3 cases. The theoretical basis used comes from the thoughts of Wim van de Donk, Brian D. Loader, Paul G. Nixon, and Dieter Rucht. The results of the study show that most social movements oriented to the protection of women have their own independent media. However, social movements also indirectly managed to attract the attention of the established media. This is because these movements have been able to attract the attention of all Indonesian people. If this relationship becomes balanced then it will be beneficial for both. Social movements will be able to spread ideas widely with the help of established media. The mass media will also achieve its goals in service and economic benefits.

Abstract

Abstract: Marriage is part of the social system. Marriage is the basis for forming a family, but the life or marriage is not as easy as imagined. Unresolved and not immediately anticipated of redifinisi and deterioration will certainly lead to the termination of the relationship in marriage which has an impact on indifference to the situation and circumstances of the family at home, especially child care, causing problematic parenting. This study aims to understand and identify the things that causes dissolution in marriage that makes children to experience parenting problems or conflicts in their families. Through the phenomenological method, qualitative approach and symbolic interaction theory, the results of the study found various conflicts behind the termination of a relationship in a marriage so that children become victims of problematic parenting, namely infidelity or affair, Domestic Violence (KDRT), Economy and Selfishness. The things that make a marriage (family) to be vulnerable in dealing with until resolving and overcoming conflicts are influenced by commitment, family conflicts, motivation to build marital relationships and mental readiness. The results of this study are expected to provide input or thoughts on solving problems related to the termination of marital relations so as to provide social understanding in the form of awareness for the community in building a family life.

Abstract

Polri were the unique organization with leadership model different with other government institutions. Command system leadership is famous model for this one, because the impact of military organization in the past. The research talk about how the leadership model in communication organization studies in Polri come to anticipate radicalism and terrorism in their member, especially for Mobile Brigade (special police) as law enforcement. The theoretical studies this research was leaderships functions from Yammarino (1999). Qualitative model was the data processing for this research, and the researcher had interviewed (depth) any leader of Mobile Brigade region in Provincial Police North Sumatera. Finding this research shows that leadership Polri organization always base on the mature planning, local genius approach, motivation and police member mental endurance. Police leaderships more attention for emphatics to observe their members to get evaluate the terrorism and radicalism in their members.

Abstract

News is not only an information about events, and/or opinions, but also a discourse and ideology of mass media management to the public. Various information that was broadcast by the mass media, one of which was the news of the stabbing of Kemenpolhukam Wiranto in October 2019 at IDN TIMES. Through Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, the researcher will analyze how IDN TIMES discusses the news of the stabbing of Wiranto which will form a certain ideology for its readers. The results of the study show that news is not only information for readers, but also a place for forming ideology by the media.

In the process of delivering messages, a Communication Strategy is needed so that the messages conveyed are effective and in accordance with what is expected, UHAMKA which is a Muhammadiyah higher education institution (PTM) has a goal to be able to give birth to students who have achievements, one of which is academic achievement, in achieving goals The University Leaders are assisted by a central institution for the development and development of UHAMKA Student Affairs and Alumni (P3KA). The purpose of the research with the title P3KA Communication Strategy in Improving UHAMKA Student Achievement is to understand how P3KA's communication strategy in Improving UHAMKA Student Achievement is. Abstract

This paper analyzes the emergence of the comparative Islamic da'wah study movement on social media islami.co and rumaysho.com, especially in social institutions that massively carry out popular da'wah programs among Muslims. Contemporary da'wah movements from time to time continue to change and the da'wah programs of non-Muslim leaders. This study is important to do to see how the contemporary da'wah movement strengthens its authority in society. Specifically, this article will address the following questions. How is Rumaysho.com's da'wah narrative about non-Muslim leaders? How is Islam.co's da'wah narrative about non-Muslim leaders. This study was conducted through field studies and supported by relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that the contestation carried out by Narrative Da'wah against the old religious authorities was carried out through efforts to create a space for popular piety and hijrah for the community. Then the Da'wah Narrative is not politically contested, but about da'wah.
