Abstract

Learning kalām is not enough just with a monologue model or paired dialogue in class. For some students whose background is lacking in linguistic and psychological aspects, creativity and synergy in the practice of kalām are needed. One of the learning strategies that can accommodate these needs is maṣrāḥiyyah. This study aimed to describe the appli­cation of maṣrāḥiyyah for kalām proficiency for students Arabic Language Education Departement of IKHAC Mojokerto batch 2021. The researcher used a descriptive-qualitative approach. There was a change in the willingness and ability of students in the didactic aspect and mentality. Maṣrāḥiyyah activities are important to stimulate kalām skills in the frame of sharing roles and can be immortalized through a digital platform to become a reference model for learning kalām skills.

Abstract

Translating the Qur'an is the first step to understanding its contents. As an effort to get in­side the Qur'an, the translator community needs intensive assistance through word trans­lation for beginners. The purpose of this service was to provide assistance to the translator community at Ponpes Bustanul Ma'arif Jember in learning translation with PPTQ with a community development approach. Changes that occurred after mentoring the translator community were motivated to explain Qur'an, and they were easy to memorize vocabulary. Translating words with PPTQ has attracted the attention of the community to be more active in studying and understanding words. Learning to translate words with PPTQ can be used as a creative development of the community in the field of Arabic translation.

Abstract

Teachers must be able to present Arabic learning with the media well, so students can un­derstand lessons easily. This article discusses the snakes-ladders media which is ap­plied in learning Arabic on yaumiyyatunā material. This research oriented to check the mastery of Arabic mufradāt through snakes-ladders media in 8th grade students at MTs As­sunniyyah Kencong Jember. This study used a qualitative approach because the object of this research focuses on the process of mastering mufradāt with snakes-ladders media. Through snakes-ladders, students could master Arabic learning related to memorizing mufradāt. With the snakes-ladders, students are more enthusiastic about learning and also pay attention to the material taught by the teacher.

Abstract

An appropriate media and suitable to students' conditions are essential in the Arabic lang­uage learning process, especially for Arabic learning in an Islamic school. Through this re­search, we wanted to check student learning achievement in the aspect of mahārah al-kitābah through picture media that we applied to 10th-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Assunniyyah Kencong Jember. The method used in this research was the qualitative method. Through picture media, the average student score was 70.5 based on the indicators we set, and they were pretty capable of Arabic writing skills. Therefore, the picture media we use can make students master mahārah al-kitābah.

Abstract

Students sufficient speaking in Arabic is one indicator of mastery of Arabic. Therefore, know­­ledge of Arabic requires suitable learning media so that students are helped in learning it. Talking sticks can be one of the media that contributes to bring off students' Arabic spea­king skills. This article schemed to check the achievement of the results of the media appli­cation in MA As-Sunniyyah Kencong Jember through qualitative research methods. The results afforded that students were reached good predicate in speaking skills based on assessment indicators with an average of 80.73, so the use of talking stick media can be said supporting students in achieving Arabic speaking skills.
