Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the usability of the online ticket booking platform, Tiket.com, which despite its popularity, has received numerous negative user reviews. The primary objective of this research was to assess the platform's usability to identify areas of improvement that could enhance user experience. Utilizing the System Usability Scale (SUS) as a quantitative method to process usability data, we conducted an extensive analysis of the platform's interface and interaction features. The SUS provided a framework for assessing user satisfaction and usability efficiency. The results of this study revealed a SUS score of 55.55, which categorizes the usability level of Tiket.com as "OK" according to the Adjective Ranking scale. It falls into the "Acceptable" range, marginally at a Grade D level. These findings suggest that while the platform's usability is generally adequate, there is significant room for improvement. Further analysis indicated that specific enhancements in feature functionality and responsiveness to user feedback are crucial. Enhancing these aspects could substantially improve the overall user experience, ensuring greater user retention and satisfaction. The implications of these findings are significant for future research and practical applications. They suggest that continuous usability evaluations could be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the effectiveness of online platforms like Tiket.com. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a detailed usability evaluation of a major online service platform, using a recognized and replicable methodological approach.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way information is interacted with and managed, including in the tourism sector. Nature tourism, as an important part of Indonesia's tourism industry, has also undergone a significant transformation in terms of technology use. This research investigates the application of information technology through websites in improving the accessibility, efficiency, management, and promotion of Pagubugan Melung Tourism in Banyumas. By adopting a website-based ticketing application, Wisata Pagubugan Melung is able to provide more complete and interactive information for visitors and simplify the process of ticket sales and visitor management. Evaluation of user acceptance of the ticketing application was conducted using the Heuristic Evaluation method and Partial Least Square Equation Model (PLS-SEM) statistical analysis. The variables that become indicators in evaluating user acceptance of ticketing applications using PLS-SEM statistical analysis are Visibility of System Status, Match Between System and the Real World, User Control and Freedom, Consistency and Standards, Error Prevention, Recognition Rather Than Recall, Flexibility and Efficient of Use, Aesthetic and Minimalist Design, Help Users Recognize, Diagnose, and Recover from Errors, Help and Documentation and Usability. The results showed that most features were well received by users. Overall, the Wisata Pagubugan Melung ticketing app is popular, showcasing the blend of technology and tourism. This research provides a better understanding of user acceptance of technological innovations in the context of tourism and provides guidance for further development in improving technology-based tourism services.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a Mobile Web-based Puskesmas Management Information System (SIMPUS) motivated by the need for the Puskesmas Rawat Inap Jungkat to improve information services and data management. The problem being faced by the Puskesmas Rawat Inap Jungkat is that the management of patient data visiting the health center is still manual and is done repeatedly, which results in the efficiency and effectiveness of services being hampered and data redundancy. SIMPUS mobile web development applies Next.js for the front-end and Laravel for the back-end, with GraphQL as the data retrieval protocol. This system is designed to simplify the patient registration process, polyclinic data management from registered patients, and efficient service management. This research uses the Design Science Research (DSR) method with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation studies to develop a mobile web information system and puskesmas management that focuses on patient registration until the patient's data that registers directly enters the intended polyclinic. The System Modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML) with White-Box testing to ensure system functionality. The results of the study are expected to make a positive contribution in improving the quality of health services at the Puskesmas Rawat Inap Jungkat, increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness, and facilitating access to information for patients and health center staff.

Abstract

Waste management remains a significant challenge, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia, where urbanization and increasing consumption contribute to rising waste volumes. Kesugihan District in Cilacap Regency faces similar issues, necessitating innovative solutions. This study aims to optimize the user interface (UI) design of a waste management application using the Design Thinking approach, ensuring usability and effectiveness in engaging users. Through iterative design stages Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing this research incorporates user needs and feedback into UI development. The usability of the designed UI was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), achieving scores of 71 for users and 70 for administrators, categorizing the interface as “Good”. Comparative analysis with similar waste management applications demonstrated superior navigation, clearer information presentation, and enhanced user engagement in the proposed UI. Additionally, user feedback highlighted areas for improvement, including navigation clarity, onboarding tutorials, and response speed optimization. This study contributes to the field of waste management technology by demonstrating how Design Thinking can enhance UI usability and user experience. Future work should explore integrating AI for personalized recommendations, gamification elements for increased participation, and broader usability testing across diverse demographics to further refine the application’s effectiveness.

Abstract

In the context of digital marketing, which is increasingly important in the digital era, this research focuses on analyzing the digital promotion strategies implemented by CV. Eka Sari, a distributor of specialty food products in Purwokerto . The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of digital strategies in creating product differentiation and reaching a wider market. Using SWOT analysis method, business canvas model, and Porter's Five Forces, this research identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by CV. Eka Sari, as well as factors that affect competition in the market. The results show that CV. Eka Sari effectively utilizes digital marketing strategies, especially through social media, to strengthen brand awareness and attract the interest of the target market which includes students, productive employees, and families. Unique product differentiation and modern concepts have increased market share and strengthened their market position in the specialty food industry. The findings offer valuable insights for other specialty food product distributors in developing effective digital promotion strategies in the face of intensifying competition in the market.

Abstract

The Winnowing Algorithm is a system built to determine the similarity of the title of a proposed thesis with previously existing thesis titles, so it is necessary to apply an algorithm to determine the similarity of titles. One of the algorithms for determining the similarity of titles is the Winnowing algorithm. The Winnowing algorithm is a method used to detect similar words/sentences (common subsequence) in two thesis titles being compared. Two thesis titles are known to have the same words / sentences if a fingerprint is found in the document, this fingerprint will be used as a basis for comparison between thesis titles, this algorithm will look for fingerprints (similarities in the two thesis titles) by changing the n-gram of the title into the form The number value is called a hash value, the technique for finding this value is hashing. The research results show that the winnowing algorithm is proven to be effective in detecting similarities in thesis titles in information systems study programs with a threshold of 10%. The system built is able to provide accurate and fast results in identifying similarities in thesis titles, and this system really helps students in finding topics that are original and have never been researched before. Apart from that, the supervisor can easily verify the similarity of the thesis title to avoid plagiarism.

Abstract

Assessing the quality of education in a school often hinges on evaluating the performance of its teaching staff. Teachers play a pivotal role as professional educators shaping the learning experiences of students. Their performance evaluations not only serve as a benchmark for excellence but also as criteria for career advancements, such as promotions to higher positions or recommendations for teacher certification programs. To ensure these assessments are fair, consistent, and objective, it's crucial to employ a reliable evaluation method. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) emerges as a robust tool for this purpose. AHP offers a structured framework that facilitates comprehensive decision-making by allowing decision-makers to prioritize various criteria based on their relative importance. In the context of this study, data for the AHP analysis was gathered through questionnaires distributed to respondents. These questionnaires likely covered multiple aspects of teaching performance, such as instructional effectiveness, classroom management, and professional development. After collecting and analyzing the data using the AHP method, the results provided a weighted ranking of the teachers. According to the AHP analysis, Teacher C emerged as the top performer with a weight of 0.7604 or 76.04%. This indicates that Teacher C excelled in the evaluated criteria and demonstrated superior teaching skills. Following closely, Teacher B secured the second spot with a weight of 0.2079 or 20.79%. Lastly, Teacher A received the lowest priority with a weight of 0.0517 or 5.17%. These findings not only highlight the strengths and areas for improvement among the teachers but also offer valuable insights for school administrators to make informed decisions regarding promotions, certifications, and professional development opportunities.
